• They were very unfriendly and there were bugs in room.

“When called hotel to verify that it was a non smoking room the lady told me that in the future I needed to make my reservations direct with the hotel if I had any special needs.”

• Clean, great location.
• Indoor pool is in poor shape.

“This is not a hotel to go to with kids looking to spend a lot of time swimming. Pool area is in poor shape. Rest of hotel was great & staff upgraded us to a bigger room when the AC didn't work in our old room. Great place to stay!”

• Location.
• The room was made to be business oriented. There were two queen beds. The room would have better with two beds. The desk could not be used.

“The hotel was ok for a one night stay. The room was too small for two queen beds. One king bed would have been enough. It seemed that furniture, such as the desk and chair, were added to make it a business facility. The chair could not be fully pulled out from the desk due to the bed being right there. The breakfast was excellent.”

• Free wireless internet, free breakfast.
• Air conditioner was really loud; it woke me up every time it kicked on/off.

• High-speed internet access.
• Key card did not work on one side of the building.

“For a one-night stay, this hotel was fine. The front desk attendant was nice but seemed aloof. The key card did not work on one side of the building (where we parked and had taken out our luggage), so we had to schlep our luggage from around the side to the front and ask the desk attendant to reset our keys. It turned out that when we left the hotel to go to dinner, we left out of the faulty door and saw people trying to enter that door unsuccessfully. We learned our lesson and, upon returning to the hotel, parked on the other side of the building.”

• Beautiful room, very quiet, and maintained.
• I was moved to another room because the air conditioner did not work properly.

• It was close to the airport.
• Old, Not in good shape.

“The lobby was nice but, the room was not. They were old and badly worn. Old dingy chairs and carpet. Little counter space in the bath room and the shower had very low water pressure. For the business traveler this is a nightmare hotel. I tried to get info from the front desk young man but was unable to because of his personal phone call. Also, was not able to get thru on the phone to get a wake-up call. I would rate this hotel with a Motel 6.”

“This is a great hotel for business travelers. The Wingate takes care of all the service items that make for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to my coworkers.”

• This is absolutely the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in.
• There is no place to sit outside-like a balcony or lawn chairs or anything.

“Feel free to stay in this hotel if you like company. After a brief stay I was welcomed by bed bugs....really, bed bugs. After I discovered I had been bitten during the night I captured one of my friends and brought it to the front desk. They casually stated, hum, looks like a bed bug as if this may be a routine occurence and credited me 50% of my bill. It sure wasn't worth the pain I went through when I got home to make sure they didn't travel with my luggage, clothing, etc. and into my home.”

• The room was really nice, and I liked the convenience of the washer and dryer.
• The bathroom could have been a little cleaner
