• The hotel staff were friendly and polite. The free breakfast was excellent and well maintained.
• The plumbing on the stools were a little loud.

“This is a great place to stay if you have children. Easy to access and close to many popular eating places. The breakfast was nice with many options for children, and you can't beat free when you are traveling with kids.”

• The wireless internet and how spacious the room was.
• Dd not like the cable service.

• It was comfortable and conveniently located.

“The employee at the front desk was not helpful, saying she didn't know anything and couldn't check it. She did, however, offer that wireless was available in the lobby, but was unsure if it was working. I was assigned the accessible room, showering was difficult with all the accessible aids in the bath tub.”

• The bed was quite comfortable.
• The room decor was dated and a little run, also the room smelled a bit.

“The lobby of the hotel was nice, and the hotel itself was close enough to the interstate highway. Next door was an Applebee's, which was nice. The room decor itself was dated, and could have used a deep cleaning. (The crown moulding had been wiped down at one point, but you could still see the dried dirty water lines - so it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, or at least rinsed a second time.) And, a couple of the lampshades were broken, looking quite shabby. The most offensive thing though was that the room smelled, perhaps of cigarette smoke. I called to inquire if it was in fact a non-smoking room, and was told it was. I asked for another non-smoking room since this one smelled, and was told that they were overbooked so I couldn't move to another room. The hotel pool area was very attractive and spacious, and I had a nice view of it out of my window even though I didn't have time to use the pool area. The air conditioner worked well at keeping me cool, even at 100+ degrees outside, but it did make some annoying noises that made it difficult to get to sleep. Having a cool room is the utmost importance, but the halls & elevators were extremely hot and would have been more comfortable if they were a bit cooler. I am not sure if I would use this hotel again.”

“I want my money back! This was the lousiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Ever! Dirty, worn out, needs paint, carpet, wallpaper. I was stuck in a smoking room; I never sleep in smoking room.”

• The hotel electrical wiring is not up to code. Wall plugs are turned off with wall light switch.

“We did not receive first class service. Rooms were not cleaned until 4:00 pm every day. The internet router was not available until you turn on the lights in the room. wireless internet was only available in the lobby. No one in the hotel knew that the lights had to be on to use the internet. Back door was under repair for two days.”

• The hotel was within walking distance of a few restaurants.
• The hotel told us we could only have a double room, not a king room.

“The wallpaper was peeling off the walls on the sixth floor and the bathroom to our room was not completely clean. Other than that, the hotel is conveniently located.”

“The staff was friendly. The room design was good but the room was worn - carpet in corners coming up, door had scratches; elevator had a lot of scratches. Overall it was fair for the newer style of La Quinta's.”

• Service was terrible, no manager on duty.

“We were displeased with the service after realizing they put us in a smoking room after I called to request non smoking. The lady at the front desk would not do anything about it. There was no manager on duty so after around 30 minutes of talking to the front desk, we had to go back downstairs and call the manager who immediately switched our room.”

• Used the lobby bathroom when first arrived and it was in horrible condition.

• It was close to where we wanted to be.
• The toilet was difficult to flush. Very noisy when flushed.

• Poor public restrooms, broken A/C, substandard breakfast.

“I was not pleased with my stay at the Laquinta inn in okc. Very poor customer service. The public bathrooms had broken sheet rock on the ceiling, no soap, and the broken privacy toilet dividers. The room was alright, except the A/C. The staff eventually got to it, but I had to speak to a manager about it because the desk staff said then didn't know if they could fix it, and weren't sure if they could find me alternate sleeping arrangements. Then location was about all I like about this hotel. I'd gladly sacrifice that for better customer service, food, and accommodation. I will never stay at this place again.”

“We checked in late (10:30pm) and had to fight to get a non-smoking room. We were told we got the last one. Upon arriving in the room, we noticed a strong, musty odor and found that the carpet was soaked from the A/C unit. Rather than stay in a smoking room, we stayed put. Other than the odor, the room was very nice. We checked out the next morning and looked forward to the free breakfast. However, La Quinta's free breakfast has a very narrow selection, and no high-protein, low carb selections - only waffles, cereal, and bagels. Not even any wheat toast/peanut butter. Upon checkout, the front desk attendant was uninterested in the A/C problem in the room, and I have doubts she even reported it. This is a nice hotel, but there are far better choices for less money. I would gladly stay here again for the price we paid.”

• Non smoking room smelled like used to be smoking. Could smell some smoke. Same floor as smoking.

“I wish non smoking rooms were together on one floor. We could still smell there had been smoke in the room. I am sensitive so I smell this. The room next to us was smoking so I got to have double whammy. Everything else was good.”

• The staff would not let us eat breakfast at 8:55 a.m. when it closed at 9:00 a.m. even though it was still out.

• Shuttle service is bias for medical guest.

“Shuttle service would go to airport 15 miles away. I had to argue and finally got shuttle to take me to mercy hospital 8 miles away. I have multiple sclerosis and this is a classic case of bias against disability.”

• Room was dirty. Elevator extremely slow. Hotel itself was okay.

“Hotel looked to be fairly new. Nice lobby. Room looked okay upon entering - set up was fine - but bathroom was dirty. Beds were NOT comfortable at all. Elevator was extremely slow. We used the stairs instead even though we were on the 5th floor of the 6 floor hotel. It was only a 1 night stay but was not impressed at all. 95% sure I will not stay there again.”

• Commode flushed very loud as did the one upstairs.

“Actually, it was really nice except that the cord for the high speed internet didn't work in our room. They offered to let us use another room, but they should have put us in a room that had everything working in the first place. Also the hair dryer didn't work.”

“The toilets seem like they were designed by NASA - hold your ears when flushing; they're deafening! You can also enjoy hearing the occupants of the rooms above, below, and next to you when they flush their toilets. Build materials are so cheap that the hinges in the bathroom were rusting just from the normal humidity present in that room. Breakfast consists of canned fruit dumped in a bowl; cold muffins; and make-it-yourself waffles with the taste and consistency of microwave foam insulation.”

• Nice large room, with refrigerator which is great when your traveling by car a long distance and want to keep your drinks cold
• We liked everything
