• I stayed in 3 hotels at the same price point on this trip, this was the best.
• The smoking area right outside the main entry has got to move to a new place.

“Overall this is a good property with good amenities - should have a slightly higher star rating than what's currently posted. The smoking area outside the main entry was a definite turnoff for me and my family. Despite the smoking area, I'd still place this in my top 3 hotels in the Salina ski area.”

• The fact that there were no bedspreads to keep out of the way.
• The hot water did not last for very long.

“The swim pool was broken down and while I know that happens, when you are with your family and you stay in a hotel to swim, it is very disappointing to the children.”

• The morning breakfast provided is great!
• My only complaint is the sink in the room I had, room 123, did not drain very well.

“I have stayed at this hotel several times. I have always been pleased with the room which I was given and the general amenities. Personnel have always been friendly and helpful. My only suggestion at this time is that the breakfast times be extended one hour.”

• We were pleasantly surprised to find a king size bed in our room.
• We were interrupted by the maid but that was probably our fault since we didn't put out the do not disturb sign and it was around 11:00 am

• I requested a non-smoking room. I got a room that had been smoking up to three weeks before.

“The room was smoking up to three weeks before and I was assured that there would be no smell of smoke. Not only there was a smoke smell in the room but it was there as soon as you got off the elevator. The hotel was booked and as we arrived in the evening, we could not get another room.”

• The lobby was beautiful. breakfast good. room and sheets outstanding.
• Nothing I can think of.

“I knew reputations of Fairfield but had never stayed in one. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Our room was very gracious, and we had a selection of pillows on the bed--softer and firmer made of a material that fluffed. The sheets were a nice quality and cotton as well. The little quilt at the bottom of the bed made the room look elegant even though everything was simple.”

• The room and clean and spacious.
• Breakfast had waffles, but line was long to get to them.

“Of all the rooms we stayed at on our trip, this was the most spacious sleeping arrangements. The breakfast was good but lacked space for the number of people staying. Overall it was a good night stay and I will stay again if traveling back in the area.”

• I would have like to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

• Would be nice to have more than one waffle machine given number of people at breakfast.

“This is an excellent hotel. I enjoy staying here rather than at a higher level hotel, where you generally have to pay for breakfast and internet. Paying for these services actually makes the more expensive hotels even costlier. I've always had a good experience at Fairfield.”
