• It was close to everything by car, yet was in a quiet area.
• A little hard to navigate the surroundings as so much was around it.

• It was a nice hotel but after what I went trough at check in will not come again!
• My accommodations were not met till upset and speaking with the manager!

“The stay was great after I had to speak with the manager. I had asked a room with two double beds. I was told one king bed was all they had. I have a 11 year old that was expected to sleep on the floor. No roll away beds left either. Horrible experience.”

• Room was nice enough.
• The staff was bad.

“In short, I would never stay at this hotel again based on how we were treated by the staff. The night desk clerk yelled at me from across the lobby to verify that I was staying there and did not wander in off the streets (funny because the hotel was in the middle of no where. The hotel restaurant charged us for a meal we did not have, and the front desk was really awful about taking it off. Never again.”

“I loved the location of the hotel extremely close to the new 45 toll road which just pops me into Austin. I didn't have to pay the Austin price to stay in the Austin area!”

• Attractive appearance.

“The lobby area was very pretty and inviting. The overall appearance of the facilities was very nice. We were only there for one night and did not use any of the on site amenities. The clerk who checked us in was helpful and courteous.”

• Great bedding and toiletries.
• Needs updating, old appliances and electronics, not many cable channels, discolored tile in tub.

• Customer service was great. Individualize attention.
• Door noise as room was close to exit.

“Staff said hotel was 6 years old but appeared to look brand new. Had plenty of space to sit and visit without getting in anyone's way. Looked like a great place for a reception or large party.”

• It was very presentable and clean.
• We didn't care for the soap products.

• The clean room and comfortable bed/pillows.
• Poor food in restaurant.

“Recently I have stayed in the Austin Omni and this Marriot. Were it not for the poor food in the Marriot's restaurant I would consider the experience comparable. While the Marriot is rated a 3 star and the Omni 4 star, except for the food issue in the Marriot I would consider this hotel a 4 star. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable and the lobby, exercise facility and indoor poor were outstanding. I would definitely consider another stay at the Marriot Round Rock anytime the Omni isn't available. That's not to denigrate the Marriot at all, it well earned its 3 star and with a little help in the restaurant it would be 4 star material.”

• Comfortable bed, nice toiletries, Disney channel, nice view, clean and quiet.
• Parking lot trash areas need more frequent cleaning and broken glass in one parking space.

“Incredibly comfortable bed and chairs, well-lit parking lot, wireless computer connection, room service trays were quickly removed, Beautiful lobby. An Indian wedding was taking place on one of the days that I was there. It was really noisy in the parking lot, but you could not hear anything in my room.”

• New and pretty. well kept.
• Poor service in dining / bar area.

“I must have caught them on a bad weekend. We went down to the restaurant to have dinner and a drink. There was a small doll convention there at the time and they had NO EMPLOYEES working the tables. It wasn't crowded, however, it took forever for someone (who ended up being the busy bartender behind the counter) to come take our order and that was only after I got up and waited at the bar. They said they were short-handed, however, there was only ONE PERSON working (the bartender) on a Saturday night, with a convention crowd there! Unbelievable Put a damper on paying the price for a 4 star hotel and getting 1 star service!!!!”

• Staff was attentive and helpful.
• Breakfast buffet was not as good as most Marriott hotels.

“The room I had was nice and comfortable. The only complaint was that I had a difficult time getting it to cool off. I had the temperature set at a comfortable 70 for the day and it didn't achieve that until later. Staff was attentive, room service good, location easy access to everything I wanted to see. I would stay here again.”

• It is a new hotel, convenient to stores and shops.
• Didn't have a 60 inch big screen in room. Well you asked.

• The facilities were great.
• I called the desk to report an alarm sounding off by the pool, but no one showed within 30 minutes.

“A nice hotel like this should not charge extra for internet access. It is expected and provided at even the lower end hotels.”

• Pillow top mattress, down comforters with white bed linens and duvet cover.
• Cigarette smoke in the hallway.

“Very nice for a hotel. Loved the white bed linens and pillow top mattress and lots of fluffy pillows. Quiet and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Location a bit inconvenient from Austin with all the construction and traffic. Overall, a very nice experience.”

• Very clean. Courteous staff. Great location. wonderful food and all around great service. The beddings were out of this world ( down comforter etc).
• walls too thin, could not sleep well due to noise from next room

“I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler. It has a very courteous staff, wonderful amenities such as the Gym, wireless internet, comfortable and attractive decor and a very good brunch breakfast station. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would add a mini bar to the room or at least a small fridge.”
