• Convenient location to Austin, plenty dining choices within walking distance, very secure and family friendly.
• All my complaints are petty.

• The hotel's location makes it difficult to get to during rush hour.

• We arrived after midnight and the staff allowed us to use hot tub as long as we were quiet.
• Needs just a bit of updating.

“I really liked this hotel mainly because of staff. It was completely clean but, a little outdated. I have a bad back and hot tubs help so, when we arrived after midnight I assumed I wouldn't be able to sit in hot tub. I asked the woman at the counter and she allowed me to use it as long as my wife and I were quiet. I really appreciated that.”

• Beds are important! Mattress, linens and bedding were great!
• The bathroom/dressing area was a little lacking.

“The staff was very accommodating and friendly! We slept well because the bed was extremely comfortable. After checking out I wished I'd gotten the mattress/bedding brand, etc., information because it was the highlight of the stay!”

• When extra towels were needed, someone delivered them in less than 5 minutes.
• The king room with the fold out couch was much smaller than the double room.

“Even though our room was much smaller than the double room, it was very nice. The duvet covered comforter was a relief. I'm always nervous about the bed comforters but at least I know the duvet was being washed between guests.”

• The hotel was clean and the employees were very friendly.
• The bathroom in the room I rented was not in the best of shape. Needed remodeled.

“The hotel was really nice. The room was setup great and the beds and pillows were great. The bathroom was not what I expected for this caliber of Hotel. Needed some work. TV was only a 19". I did not eat at the buffet but what I could tell it looked pretty good. Very convenient to nice restaurants. The Hotel set on the same parking lot as Denny's.”

• Had to go down to floor below because ice machine was broken.

• I arrived at 10:30 at night only to be told that the hotel had been sold out since Monday.
• I had a last ditch room with no working toilet or coffee pot.

“I am sure the hotel was not as bad as the sold out experience. I got a room that was not an in-service room because there was no where to put me.”

• I loved the place do not change anything.

• The staff was very helpful ingesting me a room for my handicapped parents.
• The handicapped bath/shower did not have a sitting stool and the staff was not able to provide one. Staff did not respond when help was needed.

“Location was very close to my house. Need more staff at night because no one responded when my mother could not get out of the spa tub. She waited two hours in the tub. Needed sitting stool in the shower. The room was clean, roomy and very neat. Will most likely book again, but take my own stool for the shower.”

• There were absolutely no hassles checking in or out.
• The bathroom area was lacking in its design. It could not be closed off to not disturb anyone else in the room with the noise of the fan & the lights.

• The room is decorated well and the cafe staff were very friendly.
• My key was not ready and I had to wait for a key to be made for 30-40 minutes. Also, the pool was not in service.

“The room has nice decoration and the staff is friendly. The pool was out of service for the 2 night stay and my key was not ready when I arrived and I had to wait for 30-40 minutes for maintenance to make a key.”

• Safe location, good staff, room on courtyard was great, extremely comfy beds.
• Traffic into Austin area is slow and heavy, vending is only Pepsi products.

“We stayed 2 of our 3 nights in Austin a the Courtyard. The first night was at a Super 8 closer to town. The Courtyard room and location was so much better we didn't want to leave the room. The beds were like sleeping on clouds. The room was much more roomy than the Super 8. The maid service was great.”

• Whirlpool broken as was some of the exercise equipment.

“Very large rooms, some with balconies. Breakfast was a bit pricey and the whirlpool wasn't working and some of the exercise equipment was broken. Good value for the money though.”

“Everything was adequate. Room was small, but okay. Pool was okay. Room stunk really bad of smoke. Even though the hotel was empty they would not allow us to change. The hotel was still empty the next morning.”

“I was very disappointed initially when I booked a room for me and my girlfriend and I was first allocated a smoking room with two full beds. My girlfriend is allergic to smoke and the hotel corrected that problem by switching us to a non-smoking room. My girlfriend was not pleased to find out that we did not have one bigger bed. ”

• Good highway access with lots of dining nearby.
• For the image I have in my mind of a Marriott Courtyard, the room was very stark, not unlike a Motel 6.

• Not very clean, broken lights and nonworking remote.

“The room we stayed in this time was supposed to be a non-smoking room and yet there were numerous cigarette burns on the carpet. One of the lamps and the TV remote control was not working and had to be replaced. The bathroom and tub were also not as clean as it has been in the past.”

• The staff was very friendly, the check in was fast and accurate. It made the whole trip smooth and relaxing. I loved it.
• I only have one complaint. I did not get to stay long enough.

“We arrived at 7:30 pm, the staff quickly checked us in. Once inside our room, we found it comfortable and cozy. Of course, we had to go to work. Once we arrived back, we found the room very relaxing, all accommodations, i.e. towels, bedding, iron, hair dryer, large bathroom, were great. A note for the staff, my wife left her purse in our room and we called back that afternoon, the cleaning staff had located it and secured it with the front desk. I later returned for it in the early evening. Everything was a blessing.”

• All the staff was rude to us and other patrons that we noticed.

“This hotel was by far, from all the one we have stayed at in Austin and there have been many, had the rudest people working, on both shifts that we noticed. I will never stay there again because of that. They were rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, heard them mocking other patrons behind their back. Very unprofessional and mean.”

• Heavenly, soft, beds and pillows, quiet rooms, beautiful bathroom, wonderful breakfast buffet, inside entry, and inside pool.
• The entire Marriott system's computers were down so we could not rent a movie in our room.
