• Nice, clean room and good breakfast.
• Clerk at check-in wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either.

“This was a nice, clean motel with a small swimming pool and an excellent breakfast. We were traveling through Austin with children and wanted to tour the capital. This motel is north of downtown but is an easy drive to UT and the capitol. Aside from the clerk at check in, the staff was warm and friendly. We were pleased with the facilities especially for the price.”

• Nothing what so ever--dangerous pd informed to stay elsewhere.
• Mugging across street, poor hotel.

“upon arrival manager would not check in till 3 upon leaving police was down road, rough neighborhood and not close to river walk's police officers even instructed us to move closer to town and they are 1/2 mile away.. I am a firefighter and my brother is a police officer and we would not stay here with our families.”

• Quick access to I-35 and easy to get to where I needed to be.
• Had to walk or drive all the way around property to get to office from my room.

“Initial room assigned wasn't cleaned and both rooms were all the way at the back in the farthest corner from office when reservation was made well in advance.”

• Access to Interstate.
• Room not ready until over 2 hrs. later. Room way too small.

“Would not recommend this hotel at all. When we arrived after the stated check-in, we were told to come back 2 hours later. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast; there was not. We ate at the Denny's in front of the "motel" and it looked like a tornado had been through it. There were street people hanging around outside the hotel and it was not a safe area. Would never recommend this hotel and would never stay there again.”

• TV picture was very poor.

“The hotel was nice and I found it to be quiet. I wish the TV had worked better, but I was tired so I didn't complain. Also the bathtub faucet dripped. But that was all the problems. The beds were nice enough and clean. The room was clean and spacious. There was a desk and chair where I was able to work on my laptop. There was a nicely sized closet for my hanging clothes with an iron.”

• Even though it's right off the freeway you don't get allot of freeway noise.
• The bathroom/shower area was too small.

• The staff was very friendly.
• There were ants in my room.

“It proved to be acceptable for the type of trip I was on. It provided the basics. I was located very far from the main office. Overall It wasn't the worst but It wouldn't make me take my family for a stay. This is a hotel for strictly business.”

• Very nice for the price.
• Mini apartment with complete facilities.

“Great for short and especially long term trips. Only downside is small pool with same depth as the Jacuzzi. No King beds available. Clean with in-house store. Very worthwhile staying there and would do so again.”

• It is just a place to sleep in.

“The hotel was clean and newly renovated. Beds were comfortable. The toilette was clean. Good thing they served breakfast whereas later we went to Holiday Inn hotel and the breakfast was not free. So for the money we paid for this hotel, we got a quiet sleep, and that was what we needed for that one night stay.”

• It took the staff an hour to get the port crib for an infant.

“The hotel was clean, but it was not in the best area of Austin. It was convenient to restaurants and other amenities. It was understaffed and there seemed to be some management problems.”

• The carpets could be cleaned, as our feet would get dirty quickly.

• The breakfast, was the only thing pleasant.
• The area is very dangerous.

“I called my husband to come stay with me and my girls. The location was so bad. I did not feel safe or comfortable letting the girls go out side for even a soda. There were cops there several times that night. There was fighting and yelling. It was not a good place for women or children. You should have a warning about the location. Women and children could get hurt there, just not safe.”

• My room was about 5 feet from pool- luckily to cold to swim or would have been noisy.

• The location was on the I-35 service road, which meant there was nowhere pleasant to walk.

“people are very nice. the management upgraded my room at no charge, because being a single woman traveler he did not want to put me next to several construction workers. They keep it very clean, and the Denny's restaurant across the parking lot is very handy. I plan to go back next week and stay at the hotel.”

• It was in a bad area and I felt unsafe.

“I needed a functional hotel to spend one night in Austin while I had work being done to my home. This hotel met my needs, but it was definitely no frills. It is in a bad area, but management put me in a room near the front of the hotel and clerk's desk. It was fine for the night, but I would not recommend it for women or children.”

• Well run, clean rooms, friendly staff, close to airport and downtown area.
• Room was noisy from upper floor for some reason, but not unbearable.

“This was the first time we have stayed at a Sleep Inn and we were very pleasantly surprised. The Hotel was clean, well run by a very pleasant staff. The rooms were small but very adequate, with the normal amenities.”

• The restrooms need to be remodeled, very old and weathered.

“The TV did not work in my room. The floor in the restrooms were sticky. The restrooms we old and stained. I was moved to another room, but not much improvement. However, they were willing to help accommodate.”
