• The beds were soft and had a variety of pillows pilled up on the bed.
• No free breakfast.

• The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom and everything well organized
• i think the sofa might have bed bugs, because i got bit.

“Double tree hotel was very nice, overall experience was good, and would like to stay here again. although sofa/couch in the room was very old, and smelled also believed to have bugs in them, because i got bit. i hated the keys would not work, everytime i went somewhere n came back. i put the keys away from the electronic, cells and still not working. so everytime i come back i had to go to the hotel lobby and reactive the keys again. Good quality was the bed, pillows, and comforter, were extremely comfortable, which made the expreince worth while staying there. although we had to pay for parking there, i believe each hotel guest should be allowed one parking spot free/completementary. Although i am glad i picked priceline for this hotel. definitely will use priceling for future travel needs.”

• The outdoor courtyard was wonderful.
• Was charged to park my car in the garage.

“Rooms were medium sized. Pillows and beds were very comfortable. When I complained about the batteries in the television remote being dead they gave us a free cookie to make up for an inconvenience!”

• The staff at the front desk particularly Angel were great.
• The pool was to cold and the jacuzzi was way to hot for anyone.

“This hotel was very clean. However, you can tell it was on the older side they had done a lot of renovating to make it appear new. The staff was great and helpful. The pool area is beautiful as well. The beds not the best but far from the worst. I would stay again.”

• The linens were nice and the beds very comfortable.
• It's way north of town, charging for parking is ridiculous. it is kind of old.

“The hotel was clean and very comfortable. I was not happy to have to pay for parking when I know very few (or no) other hotels in the area charge for it. The room was clean and attractive enough but this hotel definitely shows its age.”

• Open-air patio outside the room that looked out on the courtyard.
• Had to pay for parking garage, and was not aware of this ahead of time.

“Liked the hotel; loved the cookies. Beautiful courtyard with patio tables outside rooms overlooking courtyard. Room furniture needs updating - couch was extremely uncomfortable to sit on and desk chair leather/fabric was ripped. Did not like having to pay for overnight parking; was not aware of this until we checked in.”

“Pretty nice hotel, although didn't get an interior room facing the pool/garden. Room faced the back loading dock and parking lots so it was kinda noisy. Also you have to pay extra to park
a car in the hotel parking lots.”

• The customer service at the front desk was excellent.

“The hotel was situated just off the freeway allowing for good access. The hotel lobby and sitting areas were attractive and clean. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The furniture was a bit outdated and the TV could have been nicer. The hallways were basic and in need of an update/remodel. Overall, the hotel had convenient access and the bed was comfortable.

• The Spanish architecture.
• The staff! the room was dirty as well everything is in need of repair.

“This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The bed sheets had stains, the room was dirty, the staff was very unpleasant and rude as well as everything was in need of repair. the room door, one of the phones in the room didn't work, the tile in the pool and hot tub was broken or missing. There isn't enough space here to say it all!”

“Very nicely appointed. Courtyard is beautiful. Lovely room, nice beds and linens. Easy access from freeway. Charged too much for daily parking ($8.00 per car) and commonly free items ($2.00 for a small bottle of water in room). Slow service in hotel lounge.”

• Nice, and clean, loved their cookies.
• Room carpet.

“I really liked this hotel, visited with children and another couple. The location it's great, close to downtown, and San Marcos outlets only like 30 minutes away. Their cookies are warm and delicious, room is clean, nice pool area, their restaurant next to lobby is very tasty and most of all the decoration and overall hotel stay was very comforting. Great location. Will go back.”

“Hotel was just right for our weekend visit to Austin. Check-in/out procedures were excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. Furniture was adequate and bedding seemed new. Plan to stay here again in the future.”

• The facilities were wonderful and the staff was very helpful.
• Everything was great, nothing I did not like.

“The rooms were spacious, the center court was set in a very relaxing atmosphere. It was very quite even though there were children around. The staff was wonderful. We had a request upon check-in and by the time we retrieved our bags from the car housekeeping was in our room taking care of the request. Wonderful stay thanks to the staff.”

• The Spanish details in the lobby and around the outside pool area.
• There was a stuffy smell. The linen although look clean felt as though it was damp.

“Although I thought the hotel was nice enough to deserve a 3 star. I think the rooms could use air filters to clean the air in the rooms. I am not an asthmatic, but my husband is, and though I'm not, I found the quality of the air a bit musty. I truly like the warm welcome with the cookies. A nice touch for traveler, especially one who have kids.”

• Doors that lead out to an outside area with easy access to the pool.
• Narrow parking garage lanes and parking spaces.

“Ample amenities, comfortable bed, nice pool and spa area. Food was reasonable compared to price. Hotel staff was very courteous and quick to fulfill any request. No flat screen TV, and limited cable channels. Direct access to IH35 just north of downtown. Overall very good hotel stay.”

• Five pillows per bed. Nice coffee bar. Attractive pool and courtyard.
• $8 per day parking fee. The garage was a good hike to the front lobby.

“Initial reception was friendly and professional. The hotel had an attractive and well maintained pool and courtyard. Fitness facility included. The room was neat and clean. The carpet and wallpaper were slightly dingy and worn. The bathroom was similar to the offering in 4 star hotels. Numerous pillows on each bed. Coffee bar was set up and added a nice touch. Several dining options in various price ranges were very close. The parking garage was an additional $8 per day and was a hike from the hotel.”

• Very pretty inner courtyard and of course the cookies.
• Very dark parking garage. Not well lit at all.

“The toilet ran all night. The coffee pot was on for over an hour and never did get a full cup of coffee out of it. It served the purpose. I just expected more after staying in the hotel in Chicago.”

• The furniture was old and tattered and the room was small.

“The furniture was old, damaged, tattered and the was a live roach in the room that I had to kill. I use your service often for a upscale hotel in this area and usually get the Radisson which I love, but this Double Tree was terrible and I never want it again. It looked like an old raggedy hotel.”

• Room was nicely decorated, nice bath amenities, good bed & linens.
• Lobby is a bit dated/tired. Parking area/parking elevator is out of date, not upscale.

“The rooms are very nicely done. The rest of the hotel (lobby, parking garage) is average and could use updating. I do not like paying to park ($8.00 a night) and do not like having to pay for internet access in the room.”

“The hotel was great. The room was not set up to be able to watch TV in bed, but I can/did over look that. What I didn't like at all, was when I get there having to pay extra for parking. The other hotels we have stayed at in the same area, does not charge me for parking.”

• My room only had a sleeper love seat which was not comfortable.

“It was a lovely room. Very spacious. There was no bed. They said they were full and I had to stay in that room and sleep on a pull out love seat with inadequate bed linens. This was not acceptable.”

• Pillows, little hot water and little water pressure-could not get my hair clean.

“The hotel is very pretty with greenery inside. Rooms were pretty too. It was not that user friendly though. Parking was hard to find the first time we arrived. There were only feather pillows in the room which is bad for allergy sufferers. The bathroom looked nice, but shower was not great. We could only get lukewarm water and there was not enough water pressure in the shower to rinse my thick, curly hair. Overall, the hotel was great to look at, but not as comfortable to stay in.”

• Atrium layout is very inviting. Rooms and hallways are quiet and well-maintained. Plenty of towels in the bathroom.
• The parking garage is very low for a large vehicle. My truck barely fit.

“The Doubletree Hotel is close to the UT Campus and downtown. Accessibility on and off the freeway is easy. Check in is flawless, staff is courteous and rooms are attractive.”

“Overall the stay at the Radisson was OK. The apartment complex in front of the building was less to be desired. It seemed scary and sub par. The ATM machine was down, but the free bottled water and WiFi was a plus.”

• Parking lot kind of dark and scary.

“I loved the double tree hotel from the warm cookies at check in to the great towels, that are soft and smell wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean as well as the entire Hotel. The fitness area was nice and clean with updated equipment.”

• Pool closed at 10 pm. I got there at 10:05 pm.

“This was an awesome. Very classy hotel. When I checked in they gave me two hot fresh cookies & the woman at the counter was very friendly. Super clean room with two very comfortable beds. Very nice.”

• The atmosphere, open bar with several TV's. Lots of activity going on.
• Parking, It was a walk to the hotel and did not feel that secure.

• Very comfortable bed and nice, updated bathroom.
• Mis-matched furniture and old curtains, torn chair.

“The hotel wasn't that bad, but I wasn't real impressed either. It had mis-matched furniture, the couch was uncomfortable to sit on and the chair was torn. It also needed a fresh coat of paint and some updating in the hallways. The pool was also pretty small. The staff was very friendly and helpful though and the bed was quite comfortable. Not what I expected for a 3 star upscale hotel.”
