• The staff was friendly. They were able to put the three rooms I reserved all on one floor.
• I did not like that they did not have a free breakfast of some sort.

“This was a very nice, clean 3 star hotel. It is not quite suitable for children only because the rooms are very tight. It would have been nice to have a table with chairs instead of a desk.”

• Very friendly front desk staff. Nicely updated room.
• Location to room to elevator.

“The hotel rooms have been nicely updated. Everything was new in our room from the carpet, paint, television, etc. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice and a good price. Used the fitness room which had necessary equipment.”

• The staff was polite and friendly.
• The room was pretty small, the bathroom was cramped, funny smell.

“The hotel was easy enough to find. The room was smaller than I would have expected and the bathroom was tiny. It was clean but there was an odd smell in the room. I was there during a heat wave which may have had something to do with that.”

• The staff was exceptionally nice. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.
• The outside of the hotel was a bit bland.

“I loved the customer service at this hotel! The room was very clean and smelled nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and huge. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown and right off of I-35; it is in a populous, clean, and nice part of town. Our overall stay was wonderful.”

• Comfortable beds, good location.
• Had to change room - drain in tub not working, TV not working.

“The hotel was fine, but not as good as most Marriotts. Just didn't feel as at home or as welcome as we did at the Residence Inn Marriott in Austin.”

• King-sized bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
• No refrigerator in room.

“The bed was a pillow-top and was very comfortable. The sink is outside the bathroom, which is how I prefer to have it when not traveling alone. The bathroom is only big enough for the shower and toilet, which is why some people have complained that the bathroom is too small. However, I had no problems with it.”

• Very friendly staff. Five minutes from UT Austin. Very clean.
• Somewhat hard to find entrance to parking lot due to congested area.

“Very nice hotel. rooms are nice but if its real cold outside it took a long time to get the room to heat up. Once it did was just fine. Hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. I did not like the fact that there was one entrance only through the front doors to get in to the hotel. The hotel was great, I would stay again.”

• It was clean.
• The bathroom vent didn't work and the hot tub was over-chlorinated.

“It serves the purpose of a safe place to stay. It's clean and if our bathroom vent had worked , we probably would have been very comfortable. But, since it was broken and the room was very small, the room stayed extremely humid and uncomfortable. The central location was very convenient.”

• It was all ok except a situation.
• Had the room for 2 nights and was checked out the first night without notifying me. Left all belongings with other people in the room.

I was there.
They gave the room to other people with all my belongings still in the room (valuable things and a substantial amount of cash as well). Thank God the other person checked into the room was an honest marine.”

• The employees were very friendly and helpful with advice about the city.
• Phone service was disrupted 2x, phone bill reflected charges for calls never made, large live cricket in bathroom and squeaky door.

“Overall I enjoyed the stay, the large live cricket I found in my bathroom and an unnaturally loud squeaky bathroom door. Also, the fitness center had only a small rack of dumbbells in denominations from 10-40 pounds. Many other hotels I have stayed in have complete sets of dumbbells from 10-90 pounds. Other than that, the stay was fine.”

• Great staff; modern, clean room, free business center; lobby coffee.
• In-room desk & chair were oversized and chair got in the way.

“Very nice hotel with an efficient, friendly staff. Free business center with two computers and printers made airline check-in easier. Located on frontage road to a major interstate, so it was easy to move about. Modest breakfast buffet is available for $9.95, or items may be ordered a la carte. Outdoor pool area was small but functional. Overall my stay here was great and I would highly recommend this property to others.”

• Only one thing - the AC in the room cycles on and off at night, which is less desirable.

• The fresh fruit and cookies in the lobby.
• No coffee in lobby after 9:00 pm. Small bath room.

“Loved the little critter that greeted us when we entered the room. We had to stack pillows as a barrier when the AC came on as it was blowing directly on us while in bed. Personnel was very helpful with what to do in area. We would stay again if in area.”

• Coffee in the lobby tastes like mud. Avoid. Why don't they offer real cream?.

• I liked their business center and pool. Their rooms were beautiful and inviting.
• The pool needed to be cleaned. It had leaves and debris floating in it.

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was inviting and clean. I enjoyed the elephant towel that was left in the room. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of drawers for our clothing. I liked the comfort of a desk in the room as well as the convenience of the Business Center.”

• Great room on the top floor with a view of the city.
• The pool was a little bit dirty.

“Hotel was nice and clean. The pool was a bit dirty and the hot tub was not all that hot. Otherwise it was a great stay. They had some of the best free cookies at the front desk and some fairly good free coffee in the morning. Bathrooms are a bit small.”

• A bit confusing to get to in the loop area.

“The hotel itself is nice and clean enough. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey if you only want a beverage and fruit. I was not able to get an internet connection in my room but the staff did try everything within their capability. There was not enough room to walk around the bed to get to the closet without moving the chair away from the desk. The staff was very friendly.”

• Close to meeting facilities & front desk staff was very good.
• Low Rider Convention going on and parking lot & hall noise because of other guests.

“Nice hotel, would stay again. Just don't stay when the low riders are conventioning in Austin. Pretty rowdy group of people when you are getting in late and having to rise early for business. But, not the hotel's fault.”

• Hard to get to off the highway.

“This was just an overnight stop on the way home from vacation. I deliberately chose a location off the highway. The hotel is kind of hard to get to but not excessively frustrating. It's in mid Austin and so in the central part of the town. There are several places to eat that aren't far. The hotel breakfast was adequate but expensive. Good value for the price and the staff was very friendly.”
