• Staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Hotel was very cold in the lobby and sitting areas.

“Hotel was centrally located which was very nice. Upon arrival (after dark) the hotel outside lights were off and place did not appear open. I expressed this at check in and it was immediately handled. Shower in my room had mildew around the tub and cracking across several tiles. Decor is somewhat dated in the hotel including curtains/carpet, etc. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel is not very appealing: Greyhound Station across the street with activity all night and people hanging around. Its also located next to what appeared to be a vacant 2 story hotel, however, the second day I was in Austin the place appeared to have motel guests (its a Travelogue I think). There is a mall within walking distance, but my understanding is that for safety reasons, it does not have a good reputation (based on information
I overheard).”

• Service by staff. Terrific attitudes & actions.
• The business center is dated & small. Computer printer barely worked.

“Great staff. Clean rooms. Signs posted everywhere saying if you don't experience a "10" in anything, call the front desk immediately and tell us and we'll fix it. They acted like that was their individual commitment.”

• Cleanliness of the room.
• Internet not working well on the 9th floor.

“We had a company event downtown the same evening we made the reservation. We paid a fair price for a very nice room. The mattress was well kept and the room was tidy. The staff was very helpful and even printed out directions to the event we were going to. Parking was adequate and the neighboring area felt safe. There was also an overnight guard, just to be safe.”

• Convenient to 35, staff was exceptionally helpful, room was comfortable with a lovely view of downtown.
• The area seems to be losing its safety appeal.

• The comforter and the coffee.
• Walls were paper thin, heard guests till 4 in the am. Bed was over-rated, and location sketchy.

“We were pleasantly surprised because everything looked very new and upscale, but it was only because it had been recently remodeled. The walls were very thin and I heard every word of the conversation going on in the next room until 4 am. The sleep number bed was very overrated and we woke up with back aches the next day. The bathroom was very small and none of the drains drained well at all. For the price we paid, it was okay, but we expected so much more.”

• The Priceline price.
• The maid checked us out of the hotel after the first night and it took us 30 plus minutes to get checked in again. Plus check out was too long.

• Excellent hotel for the price I paid. More than satisfied!
• It was kind of uncomfortable in the hallways, temperature and lighting was not right
  and too hot and dim.

never go another route to get a hotel room, price line is the only way to go for traveling. Also, the room that I was in was very comfortable, spacious, clean, and above all smoke free. Downfall was the dark and warm hallways, and the fact that there was a run down hotel next door.”

• The rooms were very spacious, and the location was convenient.

“This is a standard suburban 3star hotel. The rooms were very large, and there was ample free parking. The room and common areas were clean. The hotel didn't have a ton of character, and wasn't exactly luxuriously appointed, but it had everything one would expect for a hotel of this level.”

• Bed was a number bed - very comfortable.
• They turned off my key and the cleaning staff interrupted a late morning in asking about my leaving which wasn't until the following day.

“Hotel is quiet, fairly clean. Provides in-room coffee, blow-drier, shampoo and conditioner. Water does run hot and bed is a number bed which can be adjusted for sleeping comfort. Staff appears young and unorganized - key card was turned off in the middle of the stay and cleaning staff not informed of correct ending date.”

“Were given ravelling towels with holes in them the 2nd day we were there. The toilet needed repair and the towel rack was coming off the wall. However, it was convenient and served the purpose that we needed.”

• Central location, close to the mall. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.
• Someone from the staff tried to open the door at night. The door had a do not disturb sign.

“The hotel is centrally located. I was concerned about it being close to the Greyhound Station but this was not an issue. Good lobby and pool. Friendly staff. I didn't like the sleep number bed but that is a personal issue. The room was clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to visit again.”

• The rooms were clean and there was no parking fee as there is in some hotels for this level. Bottled water was nice touch.
• The bathroom was on a little smaller side.

• The bed in the room was a king size bed and this did not accommodate my family. The hotel did not provide a continental breakfast.

• Lobby was attractive.
• Room had 3 lights out, bathroom in poor condition.

“The room was in poor condition. There were three lamps in the room that would not work. We did call the front desk and they came up to fix them. The grouting in the bathtub needed re grouting and was chipped and mildewed. The carpet was worn out. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and my husbands oatmeal was watery and my danish was cold and had no taste. We would not recommend this hotel.”

• Can't go wrong with Radisson Hotels!
• It's the Radisson - what's not to like.

“Great stay at the Radisson in Austin. Friendly and attentive staff, spacious and luxurious room, and just a fabulous value. The Radisson in Austin was very comfortable and convenient, and all the nice little extras were included, not extra, such as free wireless internet and free parking, unlike some other hotels I've stayed at recently.”

• Free newspaper by the door in the morning.
• TV had a snowy, unclear picture.

“This is a nice hotel, in a mediocre/mildly dangerous part of town. It's not a new hotel, and this shows in things like mildly moldy bathroom tiles and some slightly cracked doors. The ironing board in my room said Hilton on the back - as if it was bought 2nd hand from a Hilton that went out of business. However, overall it was very good for the money. The room was clean; there was free high-speed wireless internet; and free copy of USA Today was left at my door on weekday mornings. I would say it was better than average LaQuinta, but not really a nice hotel.”

• Hotel was clean in common areas and room.
• Hotel security appeared non-existent.

“Hotel safety is a significant issue. Unsavory characters hang out in front of the hotel from the nearby bus station and run-down motel next door. Limited parking lot lighting (pitch dark in some areas). No secure entrance until 11:00 PM-6:00AM. The Radisson would be well served to invest in parking lot lighting, and add room-key access only to all entrances other than the front lobby. Pretty basic stuff.”
