• Food bar at night and even the better breakfast.
• The lady that brought the most horrible smelling dogs in the world into the lobby. Stunk up the whole place.

• Nice small suite arrangement; attractive breakfast room.
• Slightly lumpy bed and pull out sofa mattress was quite lumpy.

“Very pleasant and helpful front staff; safe and quiet location; pretty trees outside our window. There were nice amenities for longer term stays. A satisfactory stay.”

• Friendly staff.
• Run down.

“The firendly staff and ample contitential breakfast make up for the sub-par rooms. The size is great, but the furniture and decor seems old and the whole place seems to be showing it's age. Overall not bad.”

• The shower was nice.
• The decor was awful, the bed was uncomfortable.

“We could hear every noise from the room above us. When they flushed the toilet or took a shower, we knew. I thought there was a storm outside! The room looks very dated.”

• Great staff, great location, good hotel and good access to downtown Austin

“Staff was great, always willing to assist!!! I travel a lot with my company and have stayed in most hotels in the Austin/Arboretum area and hands down the Marriott Residence Inn was the best! Every time I come to Austin, I stay with these guys.”

• Location.
• Fragrance in room was overpowering.

“Everything was nice and clean and staff was friendly but there was a fragrance in the room that was extremely strong. It is my experience that the cleaning folks get immune to scents and maybe that is why so much was in there. Other than the fragrance everything was nice.”
