• It was quiet - great place to work/study!
• Can't turn left from the main street into hotel.

• The suite was quite roomy for 2 people. The bed and the pillows were great!
• Nothing.

• We made dinner out of the happy hour from 5:30 to 7 and breakfast was filling.
• Room was kind a small especially once you pulled out the sofa bed.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Suites in Austin. We were not able to use the fitness room, but I would have if we would have had more time there. They had wonderful top quality life fitness gym equipment. There was a happy hour going on when we checked in and we were able to go there and have some snacks. They offered drinks (including beer and wine) along with food (meat/cheese tray, hot wings, salad and cheese tortellini). We snacked enough around 6:45 pm. that we were full enough to skip out on going out to dinner which saved us about $45! Breakfast the next morning was good too and they offered eggs, sausage, crepes, fruit, cereal and pastries along with juice and coffee. This again saved out family of four another $30. The rooms were very clean and there was good water pressure for showering. We only stayed one night, so we didn't use any of the kitchen facilities, but this would be a great hotel to stay at for an extended period of time. The pool was rather small so if your kids are planning on spending lots of time in the water this hotel may not be the best choice. Overall our experience with was an A+!”

• Noisy toilet.

“Hotel was hard to find and access was limited requiring a U turn. Modular layout requiring walking or driving to get to the breakfast area. Staff was very helpful and check-in was a breeze. This may be an ideal long-stay facility rather than an overnight facility.”

• Couldn't turn left out of the hotel, ended up on a ramp in a direction I didn't want to go.

• A/C didn't work & couldn't turn off 2 lights at all.

“Hotel is still be converted from Bradford Suites to Hyatt brands; suite was nice but too many things did not work. The room had 2 lights that no switch controlled. Hotel staff removed bulbs. A/C didn't cool room below 79 even though constantly running.”

• Our bathroom faucet leaked all night.

“Only 15 minutes away from Downtown Austin. Quiet clean area of Austin, loved that everything in the hotel was newly remodeled. Rooms were larger than expected, very clean, and breakfast was delicious.”

• Sheet was attached with comforter would have preferred separate.

• Good for a longer term stay with a very nice fitness room.
• Because of the location on the street, it is not the easiest facility to access (i.e. u-turn on a busy street required).

“This hotel was nearly completion of a renovation when we stayed there. The facilities were/will be quite comfortable and quiet (given the location on a fairly busy street). The fitness room has all new and very good equipment. Overall, I would recommend this hotel especially for someone staying in Austin for more than one or two nights.”

• Awkward location. Construction going on.

“Overall one of the better "extended stay" places I have been to. Surprised by how nice the room was. Big TV. Modern interior decor. Only bad thing was the staff, polite but "not there". Questions and requests went either ignored or unanswered with "I don't know".”

• Kids above us jumping up and down were very noisy.

“Convenient, roomy perfect extended stay. However, we had noisy upstairs neighbors. Sounded like a bunch of kids were doing gymnastics above us. It did stop around 9pm and had no noise problems after that.”

• The full kitchen was nice.
• The kitchen was not stocked with any pots or pans.

“Currently in the middle of a remodel but the work was scheduled around business hours (typically between 8am and 5 p.m.) The room was spacious and clean with a great HDTV. It was quiet so I could get quality sleep. The location was also good, near freeways for easy access.”

• It was very central, so we didn't have to drive long distance to our trails.
• The breakfast was boring.

“The room inside was excellent. Big TV screen - excellent sort on channels. The kitchen and bathroom all new and in excellent maintenance. We felt very comfortable.”

• The staff and the cleanliness. Everyone was very helpful and it was hands down, the best smelling hotel I had ever been in.
• I loved everything except for the bed & pillows. They could've been much more comfortable. They were very basic.

“Very nice over all, however after explaining and seeming as though we got it straight that I would get a room with 2 Queen size beds and another with a Queen and a sleeper (hotel has only queen size beds. We went to the rooms, and it was a single queen and a queen with a sleeper sofa - that and they charged an upgrade! Did not have time to complain because of an appointment - the next day I checked out and mentioned it to the gentleman that I arranged with the previous day and he acted as though I was wrong - but I know I wasn't.”

• The location. Facilities, completely furnished.
• Couch was uncomfortable, mattress was hard.

“This is a clean and complete hotel located in the Arboretum area. They serve an extensive breakfast, but too many sweet items. More non-sweet cereals should be available. The business traveler could easily make this a temporary home.”

• We needed a second bed, which the hotel could not offer. No sleeper sofa. No rollaway bed.

“We skipped the free breakfast, it didn't look worth eating. The staff was reasonably friendly and helpful. The room was smallish and showed some signs of wear. The hotel had construction signs up, and is apparently in the process of changing hands and undergoing a renovation project. The location was good for us. We also needed a second bed, which the hotel could not provide.”

• I liked everything about this hotel.

“This hotel was in an extremely convenient location, accessible to major highways and excellent shopping centers. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The pool was clean and their in-house market was well-supplied. I really liked the conveniences in my room, such as the kitchen and personal voice mail system. Although my stay was brief, I would highly recommend this hotel to extended travelers.”
