• There were hairs on towels and on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived.

“The staff welcomed us from the door. The bartenders were very friendly. The atmosphere from the lobby to the pool area to the rooms was very romantic and clean and relaxing. Will definitely book again soon. This was a great weekend away.”

“I booked this hotel on Priceline knowing that the Omni chain of hotel generally provides nice accommodations and a quiet atmosphere. I was very impressed, however, by the level of service and the comfort of the room at this Omni! It was located in an ideal Austin location - simple to get back on I-35 to go downtown, simple to get to the airport and conference facilities. A perfect stay!”

“Lighting in entry was very low, switches at lamps not on walls. Little lighting for make up area other than bathroom. No complimentary fruit, juice or rolls for breakfast.”

• Work out facility and pool are very nice.
• The jogging trail goes next to a weeded train track.

“The entry is large and open. Yo are met by friendly professional staff. The lobby and bar area are extremely nice. You walk a short distance through the pool area to the separate workout and exercise facility. The room is clean and well appointed.”

• I was doing a bike ride and would be late getting back to shower. Offered a late check out at no charge!
• I had requested 2 double beds and they gave me 1 king. Said no 2 bed rooms available.

“The hotel was very nice, clean everyone was very friendly. My only problem was that I had requested a room with two beds. When I got to the room it was a 1 king bed. I called and they said there were no rooms available with two beds. I'm glad I was traveling with my sister.”

• Nice room furnishings - towels, rugs, comfortable bed, etc.
• No free WiFi. Only in-room internet was via an old land-line port in the phone for a charge.

“The hotel itself was pleasant and comfortable but while I was there, they were hosting some sort of youth leadership conference. There were hundreds of 17 to 22-year-olds crawling all over the place. It turns out many of them were staying there and made noise - giggling and door slamming - in the halls after midnight. I did call the desk and heard someone come up and ask them to quiet down, but I didn't have a good night sleep.”

• Free parking! Great south Austin location near downtown.
• Poor fire emergency response by staff. Really dislike $50 fee for my pet. I am looking for better hotel for me and my pet.

“The rooms are pretty and comfortable. Plenty of free parking. Convenient location in South Austin. Children love the supposedly largest indoor/outdoor pool in Texas. One improvement would be in case of emergencies, to have more exits from building, pool area, and parking lot open. Gates in pool area and parking lot were locked. Only one exit from parking lot was open. I evacuated with people from 14 floors without ever seeing or hearing from a hotel staff member. A fire was on the third floor, yet people evacuated like zombies (moving slowly and unsure where to go).”

• Not any good views from the rooms.

“I was very pleased with the hotel. it is a very nice and clean hotel, with a very nice swimming pool and hot tub. in my room the TV wasn't working properly and i called the front desk around 11:00 pm, they said they would have someone right up to fix it, within about 10 minutes the repair man came up and had it fixed, they were very prompt fixing my problem. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.”

• Very nice lobby area. Circle drive with large fountain is very inviting. Upscale rooms.
• Just two pillows on king bed (other than decorative cushions). It's always nice to have two per person.

• The check in and check out process was really fast, staff was very professional.

“Although a little far from the main Austin attractions, the hotel was up to date, very clean, comfortable beds, and had a great pool and work out area. Even though there were several teen groups staying for state tournaments, the hotel was very quiet. Check in and check out was extremely quick and professional.”

• Small bed, smelled like smoke, wake up call didn't work.

“I thought the hotel was nice overall. A great lobby, and fine and friendly staff, and a decent restaurant although few people seemed to eat there. My particular room however had a small bed (not even a double that they pulled down from an opening in the wall). From the strong smell, the smoke free room wasn't always that way. I requested a wake up call on two days and the phone never rang either time. The walls are thin and I could hear the TV from the adjoining room clearly as well as the elevator. I guess I would say it is a nice hotel to visit but you wouldn't want to stay there. This room really stands out as the worst I've stayed in.”

• I think internet service should be included in the price and bell men should be available 24/7.

• Huge pool area. Free parking.
• Smelly elevators, dimly lit room, wallpaper peeling.

“Good value - but definitely not upscale. Old TVs, smelly common areas, poor lighting throughout. It did have a clean, huge pool with nice hot tub. Would stay again- especially with kids.”
