• The convenience of the hotel to our business and the interstate.
• The bath tub was holding water, when I arrived. It did go away that day.

• It was elegant and classy.
• No microwave or refrigerator, small rooms compared to much cheaper hotels.

“I'm not sure if this survey is about the Omni hotel or the Radisson in Austin. Stayed in both over a two day period. Experience about the same in both, with the Omni being more upscale then the Radisson. Disappointed about the size of rooms and ammenities.”

• Convenient to airport.
• They sold my guaranteed room and put me on a sofa bed!

“I knew I would be late coming to the hotel so I called in to tell them and to make sure they were holding my room. When I arrived around 10pm, the room had been sold and they put me in a room without a bed - only a sofa bed. Why didn't they hold a room for me?”

• Very Friendly Staff, Easy on the Eyes, Comfortable.
• The room we had had a door to the next room, it was locked, but creepy.

“While speaking to the extremely staff, I had mention in conversation it was my birthday the day of my stay. When I arrived at the hotel, the escorted my bags to my room, and there on my desk was a piece of chocolate cake with a candle in it. Although I am a diabetic, I still appreciated the sentiment. Later that night, they called a cab for me and my friends to go to sixth street, and had a cab meet us at three in the morning. Overall, a great hotel to stay at.”

• Good location, well appointed room, lovely pool area.
• Pool is listed as heated-not really, prices in gift shop ridiculous, even for a hotel.

“Very well appointed upscale hotel. Convenient location. Friendly and courteous staff. Nice pool, although it is not really heated - much too cold to enjoy even when it was 80 degrees outside. Bedding and pillows were wonderful. However, plan to spend $5 for a bottle of water (seriously) and $2 for a bottled soda - no coke machines so you're stuck with the overpriced gift shop.”

• Not the hotels fault, too many freeways but that's what makes it convenient.

• The rooms were very clean & the beds were the most comfortable beds ever!
• We were absolutely pleased with every aspect of our stay at the Omni!

“We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The beds were so comfortable & covered with very comfy down comforters & several sizes of down pillows that made you sink into the beds at night! Very impressive & worth the money! The hotel staff was very friendly & we hope to stay here every time we visit family in Austin!”

• Gave me preferred status (gourmet coffee, papers) due to length of stay and provided printed locale directions.
• Only complaint was bathroom should have had halogen light or some type of fan to defog mirror after shower.

“This hotel was very attractive inside and out, with a staff that went above and beyond. When I arrived later than planned due to transportation, they opened the snack bar/gift shop so I could purchase something to eat. When I needed directions to my campaign office, they not only walked me through them, but printed them as well. They also upgraded me due to the length of my stay so I received gratis gourmet beverages and papers in my room each day. The lobby had a friendly wraparound bar and additional seating--low-key for a female traveling alone. The kidney-shaped indoor and outdoor pool meant I even got a swim on the last day when the weather turned chilly. Most importantly, the beds were oversized, and the pillows and comforters extra plush and sleep-inducing. A great stay and over-the-top staff! One caveat--restaurant was a little overpriced for breakfast--and the bathroom, for the scale of hotel, needed halogen lighting or a fan to defog the mirror after showering.”

• the room was beautiful, the mini bar was great, it was in the area we wanted. Overall it was a great experience.
• No dislikes.

“the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was wonderful, the breakfast options were great. The bartender was also helpful and friendly. The shop downstairs was a bonus. The atmosphere was excellent.”

• Clean, nice common areas. Good food in restaurant.
• Parking lot is a bit scary at night.

“This is a very nice, but slightly older property, that has been well cared for. The location is great right on the interstate. Service is always top notch, and I love the free wireless service. Being near the airport and the freeway, there can be a bit of noise, but as I am from the city, it does not bother me at all. I probably sleep better because of it. This is always my first choice in Austin.”

• Very big pool, good access location to highways and airport.
• Dirty toilet seat, pool was very cold, bath & sink water very hot.

“I was able to get coffee, juice, and a newspaper delivered free to the room everyday. The pool was huge but very, very cold. The bath/sink water was scolding hot and needed to be run for a few minutes even in the cold position. The toilet seat was dirty. But overall a good hotel for the price.”

• I did not like that the bath tub, looked old.

“The hotel was nice. I asked for a late check-out but housekeeping was not told so 3 different housekeepers came to the door. I had to call the front desk two times. I did not like that at all. Overall, my stay was great.”

• Easy quick access to airport, valet, bedding, internet access in lobby.
• Could upgrade TV's and bath fixtures.

“Overall a very good experience although we didn't take advantage of all the amenities since we were in town to visit family. Room was nice and clean with the duvet type bedding (so much better then a polyester spread!!) Nice to have a little "Store" downstairs (in addition to the restaurant) but the prices were high ($4 for water). I wish I could have tried out the spa treatments - maybe next time. We would stay here again.”

• The staff was lovely.
• There was nothing that I actually disliked.

“The hotel is in a business district so is perfect for the business traveler or group. The room was clean enough and decorated well enough. I had one issue with the water in the room, that being that I had only hot water in the sink the night of the stay and only hot water in the shower the next morning. With some cajoling I was "taken care of" by the desk staff who was happy to accommodate.”
