“I have seen a lot better hotels for a lot less. I just bought 2 rooms on Disney property 3.5 stars for $79 per night. These two rooms were worth $39-$40. This was a 1-2 star hotel at best.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Rudi from Del Rio, TX
“If you are looking for a cheap place to stay--then this is the place. The room was comfortable for sleeping only. The housekeeping was terrible--they did a horrible job of making up the room. The furniture was old and had holes, rips and tears. But for the price, it was ok.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Nina from Allen, TX
“Not bad for the money.” Aug 21, 2008 by

“Its great, with a fridge, coffee maker, and a microwave. Continental breakfast was pretty good for a quick meal.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Tiffany from Frisco, TX
“No extra blankets, the extra cot was $20 a night and they were always running out of things.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Marialuisa from Pasadena, TX
“The location was good, close to almost everything, yet far enough of being quite. They tried to charge me a different amount for pet deposited.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Lisa from Queen Creek, AZ
“Nice hotel for a decent price. Friendly staff. Breakfast served longer for the late arrivals, which I liked.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Sheri from Abilene, TX
“This hotel was very clean and attractive; it was definately worth the money. I would stay there again in the future.” Jul 3, 2008 by
John L. from Del Rio, TX
“This hotel was rated a 2 or 3 star. Funny the motel 6 down the road look more appeasing than this hotel.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Bob from San Antonio, TX
“The hotel was clean and well supplied in the room.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Lisa from Rhome, TX
“Overall it was ok. Like any other hotel. However, the hot tub did not work or the wireless internet. Two things I was looking for in a hotel. This was a disappointment!” Jun 28, 2008 by
Holly from Enid, OK
“Overall, it would have been a good stay without the ant problem.” Jun 8, 2008 by
Shea from New London, MN
“Nice place to stay. The hotel must have been something other type of hotel before, but they are doing a very good job fixing it up. I would stay again!” Apr 23, 2008 by

“You had to keep the air conditioner running to drown out the sound of the refrigerator and also the sound of the family friendly drunks upstairs who drug their chairs outside to party until after 2:00AM.” Nov 20, 2006 by
Amanda from Dallas
“I hardly take the time to write reviews.....but I felt I should write a review on this experience. It was a poor experience. My mother and I had our entrance cards reprogrammed five times because we could not get into our rooms. It was really annoying. Moreover, the young lady who worked the desk did not apologize; she just reprogrammed the cards and said nothing. One time she was talking on her cell phone while handling customers. Also, the hotel itself is getting pretty cheap. Instead of individual slices of pre-packaged butter, they have a huge tub for people to come scoop their own butter. They do not provide coffee holders unless requested (they take it from other rooms) or coffee stirrers. The location is also annoying because you have to swing around the highway if you are coming from the opposite direction. This experience could have been so much better if this hotel tried harder.” Aug 21, 2006 by

“To begin, I had difficulty making a reservation over the phone. It was back-to-school weekend, and other parents were planning to stay the weekend too. The reservationists was worried other people might want to stay over. Frankly, I do not care. The first five hotels I tried were sold out, which is what led me to the Ramada in the first place. Finally she reserved our rooms. When we checked in, the room smelled like mildew and was about 88 degrees hot. The hotel was booked solid, but other people still had not checked in. The person at the desk refused to move us to another room, stating that it was not possible. She gave me the manager's name and number. When I called the number, she answered the phone (she gave me the front desk line rather than a supervisor's number). Then, she lied and said she had already called the manager, but could not reach him. Finally, she sprayed deodorizing spray in our room. We turned the air conditioning on high, and it still took 3 hours for the room to cool off. There were gross white stains in several places on the carpet. The coffee pot in our room was filthy, and a plastic piece was missing from the unit. The hotel refused to take action with regard to any of my complaints. We will not stay here again, and certainly would not recommend it.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
