• The swimming pool and breakfast.
• The bathroom had mould buildup in the ceiling and dirt buildup in the corners.

“Overall, it was OK except for the bathroom. I will try a different hotel next time.”

• Directly between the highway and my destination.
• Got my address wrong on the receipt.

“My address came up wrong on my receipt and the computer went down while I was trying to get it straightened out. It took me 45 minutes to check out and nobody could guarantee me the billing to my credit card would be correct.”

• Convenient location.
• Pool area had debris (i.e. cigarette butts, misc. trash, etc.).

“The hotel was fine for the price, but every time we tried to use our access key to get in our room, it would not work. We had to go to the front desk every time to get a new room access card/key. Every key/card only worked one time, so it was very inconvenient to keep going back and forth to the front desk to get new keys/ cards.”

• We found clothing and shoes in the room as well as a mold in the tub.

“For the price that we paid the hotel was not up to the standards that we expected. If this is the quality of motel that quality provides we will not choose to stay there again.”

• Convenient to freeway.
• Strong smell of deodorizer in room.

“This is not the type of hotel I normally stay at but it was the only room I could find close to Austin. I'm a hotel snob. I did not realize that it was a motel instead of a hotel. I did not feel completely safe since I was a solo female. Although the room appeared clean, I was a bit grossed out by the strong smell of deodorizer in the room and wondering what they were trying to cover up. It was like febrile overload.”

• Convenient location.
• I requested a non-smoking room and this room reeked of smoke. Furniture was not in working condition.

“Very good location for my requirements. For the cost of this accommodation, it was quite below what I expected. The individual at the check-in desk acted as if I were an inconvenience to them at check-in and I felt very unwelcome.”

• Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, good location.
• Bathroom could have been cleaner.

“We had been told not to expect much from this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the lobby. It was clean and new looking. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was also a surprise. Furnished well and clean.”
