• Nothing.
• Mold in toilet, toothpaste on mirror and sink, not clean, air condition cut on and off , got hot . Very thin walls.

• Nice staff; convenient location; provided all basics.
• No wireless internet at all, but there was one computer in the lobby.

• We had no problems. Everything worked fine and everything was clean.
• Our hotel rooms were outside of the pool so it was hard to get our 2 year old to sleep with all the noise.

“Great hotel, great location, nice array of food, clean and friendly. Only complaint I would have would be that our window was next to the pool and the pool didnt close until like 11 pm so it was hard to get our little one to sleep at a decent hour with the noise. But we managed.”

• One thing I liked about the hotel room was the great big comfortable bed!

• This hotel was an excellent value! It was clean; it had no frills.
• The seating was not comfortable.

“This hotel provides excellent value. Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly and responsive. There are no frills! There is no elevator or on sight restaurant. There is a well-maintained pool and good internet access.”

• Was on the service road of the hi-way and close to the malls.

“I would stay again if the price was lower. I think too much for what we got: 2 floor no elevator (which we didn't need). The smoking room we got wreaked of smoke. I thought they would open the windows before renting it out again. I opened the windows and ran the A/C for about 30 minutes and it was much better. I don't smoke but my husband does, they said $200 fine if smoking in a non smoking room (so I got the smoking room). I just thought they need to air the rooms out between customers. They have windows that open! Use them please!”

• Notice at desk of fine for smoking in non smoking room. Excellent thought.
• No complaints.

“Excellent quality and will recommend highly. Staff friendly and helpful. Every thing clean and also smelled clean. Non Smoking room had no lingering odor or smoke or chemical to remove smoke smell. Best quality I've found in a long time.”

• Very clean. Friendly service.

“My son is attending Texas state university and I will be traveling to san Marcos from time to time. I do not have intentions of staying any where else. The hotel was very clean and the service was great.”

• Parking.
• Hair in bed, hard bed, smelled.

“I could have just walked up to the front desk and paid for the room and used the for the Hampton down the road. Not impressed. ”

“Best Western at San Marcos, Texas was very pleasant. The only surprise was that there was no elevator. However, since there were just two floors, it was rather refreshing to walk instead of ride from floor to floor.”
