• we did not like that it did not have an elevator, some of the people in our group have difficulties going up and down stairs, so this was a discomfor

• The room was nicer than I expected for the price and the desk employee was very nice and friendly.
• The pillows need to be replaced.

“The hotel was nicer then I expected for the 2 star rating and the employee was very nice and frindly. It had a very good air conditioner also which is very important in Texas.”

“Nicely maintained facility slightly off the main part of town; competent friendly staff. Efficient operation, minimum of fuss. Continental breakfast, however, can be readily passed up.”

• The people were very friendly
  and the rooms nice
  and clean.
• When we arrived very late from driving 4.5 hours after a long work day, the
  AC had never been turned on and it took 2 hours for it to cool down.

“The hotel is conveniently located and the staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean as well as the fitness room and pool area. I like that they have small refrigerators in the rooms, helps cut back on having to go out for small meals & snacks!”

• Had a pool and hot tub next to lobby.
• People smoking in hall ways and doors to the outside of the building didnt lock.

“Average hotel. Outside doors didn't lock, seemed too far off the highway and a little out of the way. had to drive 3 miles further to find nearest exit and the hotel sign is small. I missed it the first time. Pools close at 10pm. Kids also running down hall way until after 12pm. too few outside to feel safe about your vehicle.”

“They set me up in a smoking room. Once they finally changed it over to non-smoking, the room was disguting.There were hairs all in the sheets, and certain stains on the pillows. I will not be staying here again.”

“We were only at the hotel from 10:30pm to 5:00am the next morning, due to a quick trip to San Marcos, and really did not have contact with the staff other than checking in and out.”

• It was across from the outlet mall.
• Mold, dirty, roaches, poor equipment.

“We thought the price was a good thing until we got to the hotel and saw how dirty it was on the outside and then noticed cracked moldy ceilings. The last day of our stay we had to go in and kill huge roach and then the air conditioner froze up and wouldn't cool. We will not stay here ever again.”

• Not much.
• Internet access was not available. The room seemed old and dingy.

“Neither the wireless nor the hard wired internet connection worked. The lady at the front desk was clueless, said other residents were experiencing the same problem, and said the guy to assist me would be in the next day. Since, I was leaving early the next morning, this was not helpful. Unfortunately, I was unable to do any of the work I needed to do that evening. The room was somewhat dingy overall. I pay less to stay in much nicer hotels in San Antonio and Austin.”

• The staff.
• The hotel and lack of travelers safety.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The outside door would not open with our room keys so the staff taped it open. There went our safety. Anyone could just walk into the hotel. The rooms left alot to be desired. The window screen showed that someone had pulled it away from the window. The toilet was not attached to the floor. Every time we sat on the toilet it rocked back and forth.”

• It was easy to find, safe, luxurious and convenient.
• The cleaning service woke us up.

“The hotel and the staff were great. They have a continental breakfast each morning and a nice swimming pool. Everyone on the staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Our room had a coffee pot, iron, hairdryer, all kinds of extras. I would definitely go their again. And it's located in a great place in San Marcos.”

• The rooms were good, especially with micro wave and refrigerator. in room, & super A/C.
• The bathtub had hair in it. The breakfast wasn't up to standards.

“The A/C was great, as was having extra amenities in room. But Continental It had a great location across from the Mall, but our interests weren't in shopping, but a wedding.”

• It is located near the outlet malls, easy access.
• Gave me key to occupied room.

“They gave me a pass to room 212. The beds were not made and some one's personal items were still in the room. They immediately gave me a pass to room 215. My concern is, I don't want them giving other customers access to my room! We received an wake up call without request at 5:45 AM!”

• located directly across highway from outlet malls.
• The room was very small.

“The location of this hotel was the most important factor for me. It is located directly across the highway from the outlet malls in San Marcos. It is clean but the room we had with two beds was very small. We did use the hot tub and it was clean and towels were provided. The continental breakfast was the usual rolls, bagels, cereal and juice & coffee. Didn't use the refrigerator and microwave but it was nice to have in the room. I think for a Sunday night stay, the rate could have been a little lower. Overall, I would stay there again.”
