• Great location in the hill country and lakeside.
• Was placed in room on 3rd floor which is high traffic area. We were moved quickly after asking for a change.

“We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk was absolutely fantastic. The room was fabulous and very comfortable. All of the staff was attentive. We got a chance to dine in the restaurant and were very pleased with our dinner and the service. I would definitely return and make sure I have more time to spend in the spa.”

• Excellent facilities.
• Not a resort. No concierge/tourist services.

“1. Not a resort -- Simply a meeting center 2. Does not assist visitors in pleasure excursions in any way, even with information a hallmark of any good resort. 3. Does not communicate with their linked marina or their linked golf courses, again, a hallmark of any good resort (the customer's experience should be 'seamless'). 4. Very poor service mentality. Unhelpful front desk personnel. No consistent maitre-de presence in the restaurant. Marina and Golf personnel who do not consider themselves part of the 'Lakeway experience'. Poor managerial response to service complaints.”

• Beautiful pool, nice fitness center, beautiful location on the lake.
• Pool staff/lifeguards were rude and unhelpful, with major attitude.

“Beautiful hotel. The pool was gorgeous and the rooms were very nice. I would go back for sure. Most staffs were warm and helpful. We did have one incident with a few young, rude pool staff that wouldn't help me when I was trying to find towels for the pool. They literally pointed me in the wrong direction and then when I came back to their windowed office, they wouldn't get up to open the window until I knocked on it, even though they clearly saw me standing there. It was bizarre and very rude.”

• Great location, view and amenities.
• Some of the local and staff attitudes were a bit snooty, but tolerable.

“Excellent pool side amenities, the view is awesome and lake recreation is very easy to set up within walking distance, although a bit congested on weekends. For us it was a nice romantic anniversary setting, a little pricey but worth it. We had a fun, good time.”

• No refrigerator.

“The hotel is very clean and has a great view with the balcony facing Lake Travis. The pool is great along with the restaurant. You really do not have to go anywhere. It is truly a peaceful experience!”

“Travis room restaurant is over priced and disappointing. Service was poor. In response to request for what was ordered, the waiter said the menu was "mis-printed".”

• It had the nicest pool, hot-tub I have ever seen at a hotel.
• The parking lot is in an awkward location.

“I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable and large with a lovely balcony and plenty of room for friends from Austin to visit and relax. The views of Lake Travis are breathtaking. As long as a thirty minute drive isn't a problem, I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• No beach on the lake

“I was only there for one night so kind of hard to make use of all the facilities. The rooms were really nice and view of the lake was awesome. The staff was very helpful and the wireless internet access was great. The food was good and again the views from the restaurant were great.”

• Seemed a bit dated, had to pay for internet, not overly friendly

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A bit stuffy for our tastes. It caters to the business/conference customers. Not recommended for people with small children.”

• it was a beautiful hotel over looking lake travis. the staff was very nice and helpful.I enjoyed watching the deer on the property.
• i enjoyed every moment i was there

“Right on Lake Travis, the hotel is beautiful and so are it's surroundings. The 2 large pools and playground make it perfect for families. Everyone is nice and helpful. We enjoyed the poolside service for lunch daily. Food was a little pricey, but good. Right by the marina where any kind of boats and jet skis are available to rent. Within 10 to 30 minutes from famous restaurant, The Oasis, and also great spring-fed pools like Bartin Springs and Deep Eddy. We had a great time and want to come back next year.”

• The scenery was beautiful and the food was excellent!!
• Room Service did not deliver our order at the time in which we specified, and once they got it to our room, they forgot a few of the items we ordered.

• a little out of the way, but a gorgeous drive to get there

• Beautiful public areas and great view of the lake
• Long way to restaurants and shops other than those on the property.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakeway Inn, finding it very convenient for our golfing plans in the area. The views of the lake from the Vista Lounge and the pool area were wonderful, and the ambiance was quiet and comfortable.”

“Upon checking in to the Lake way Inn, we were given a nice room with a very large balcony, but no view of Lake Travis. We called the front desk and asked if we could be moved to a room with a view even if it didn't have a balcony. The front desk staff was very accommodating and more than happy to move us to a beautiful room with a view and balcony at no extra cost.”

“It's a wonderful location looking over Lake Travis. Great for families or those who like water sports. The food was wonderful. My only complaint was the bed. They could use some mattress pads. I would have preferred 3 or 4 of them to soften up our bed.”

• The staff was outstandingly friendly & helpful.
• The bed was too firm. We had to pay an upgrade for lakeside room, even though the hotel was very empty.

• I loved the location and the view.
• You could hear the traffic in the hall and people slamming doors.

“The hotel had good helpful staff that I was able to call on when I got lost looking for the place. When I arrived late to check in they were concerned that I took longer and inquired if everything was alright. I really appreciated that.”

• Great location, nice hotel, great balcony, the restaurant was reasonable, gentleman there was very nice
• Front desk girl was not friendly AT ALL

“Very nice hotel with a balcony overlooking a great view of Lake Travis. Close to Oasis restaurant which was a plus. The on premises restaruant was great, especially Sunday brunch. The staff at the bar was very nice and accomodating. The front desk lady needs a class or two in friendliness and customer service.”

“I stayed in the old, original part of the hotel, which I would recommend. The rooms are waterfront, aligned along a cliffside overlooking the narrow cove that holds the Lakeway Marina. The rooms are modestly furnished, but spacious, quiet and comfortable, each with a nice little lakeview patio.”
