• Close to River walk. Great continental buffet.
• Wish they had actual cribs. Did not like hwy view.

“Comparative price for location. Close walk to River walk and sites. A little difficult to get to at first due to roads. Great continental breakfast! Overall, a pleasant experience.”

• Very clean, great location, great price!
• A lot of stragglers in the area. Was concerned at first, but had no problems!

“The hotel was very clean, seemed new. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is walking distance to the river walk and Alamo. Great location and great price. We were concerned about the excessive amount of homeless people wondering around, but were assured there would not be a problem. They were only around during the day, and never once had a problem with them. Again, the hotel was great and we will definitely stay again next time!”

• It was centrally located to local attractions.
• Wireless problem unresolved, front desk clerk didn't follow through with a request as promised, not enough room to sit down at breakfast.

“This hotel was centrally located to local attractions. It had a nice room and a larger than normal sized bathroom. The maintenance service responded quickly when needed. The maid service however, did not bring towels when promised. I had to call back later on in the evening for towels. The pool was a nice size and a good temperature. I witnessed the night security guard walking around the parking lot and checking vehicles for passes. That was a comfort to me. There weren't enough tables to sit down for the continental breakfast. I was forced to go back to my room to eat. I would have liked to have seen some kind of shuttle service to Sea World or other attractions out of walking distance.”

• Location.
• The staff for the Breakfast were very rude. There also was not enough space for people to eat during the offered breakfast times.

“The hotel staff with the exception of the breakfast staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and the hotel was in a good location. The hotel was very full so parking was an issue.”

• Employees very helpful, friendly, courteous and quick to respond to your needs.
• Pool was very dirty.

• The bed was extremely comfortable and continental breakfast was excellent.
• Didn't like the fact that we were lied to about the availability of adjoining rooms.

“Hotel was very well decorated, the beds are extremely comfortable and the free continental breakfast was a big plus when traveling with children. Hotel is located within walking distance of the River Walk & just a short drive to Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. would stay again.”

• The location is great, decor is very nice.
• The staff was slow to respond to special requests, breakfast could have been better.

“I've stayed in higher rated hotels that weren't this nice. The room decor was very refined, and the bed was fabulous. The location for San Antonio is great, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go, and I appreciated the free parking at the hotel. One complaint is the breakfast selection is limited compared to other Hampton Inns I've stayed in, and they take it down promptly at 10:00, a bit early for us night owls! My only other complaint is the staff was slow to respond when I needed fresh linens (after a very late arrival, we slept in long past housekeeping had left), and failed to give me a parking pass upon registering, resulting in a notice on my windshield threatening to tow me. The staff was very friendly, though. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• It's very comfortable and service was nice too.
• Breakfast area got chaotic and didn't have place to sit briefly.

“I really liked my experience at Hampton Inn, especially my wife. It's a good hotel at a nice price. Although there are other hotels in the area, my next trip to San Antonio there's a good chance I'll stay at Hampton again.”

“From the moment you walk in it is obvious that it is their goal to make you feel at home and welcome. I would return there in a heartbeat!”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Hampton Inn riverwalk in San Antonio,Texas and It was really a pleasent stay for myself, my wife and my grandaughter. I can`t say enough about the staff, who was very kind, helpful and pleasent to be around with. The complimentary breakfasts were great and the pool was very convinient.we will most likely return someday again.”

“Items offered on the complimentary breakfast were a very pleasant surprise - French toast, fresh fruit, etc. All in all the visit to this hotel was GREAT. Very nice personnel with correct info and maps available for the city.”
