• It has a fully equipped kitchen in the room which is very useful when traveling with young kids.
• The mattress was the dirties the most uncomfortable I have ever seen. It smelled horrible and was kind of damp.

“Very disappointing considering the price we paid for it! They had the dirtiest mattress I have ever seen, it smelled so stinky we couldn't sleep all night and was even a bit damp! Let alone the fact that it was so uncomfortable it kept caving in the middle! The bathroom was not clean either and the blankets and sofa bed were smelly as well! The only good things were the location (very close to river walk) and the kitchen that has a microwave/dishwasher that proved handy when traveling with young kids/babies. Would think twice before going there especially with the prices they're offering.”

• This hotel was within walking distance of the river walk and the Alamo and even the Alamo dome.
• Parking was atrocious. The breakfast food was not good and there was not enough room for everyone to eat. Breakfast lines were long.

“I always like staying at Residence Inns they cost a bit more yet I am usually well taken care of and the hotel is clean. This was no different in the clean department. The hotel was very clean and neat. The hotel was within walking distance to many attractions that my adult children and I enjoyed. I was appalled that I would be charged $12 a day to park in a garage that was inconvenient and didn't even offer enough parking for all of its guests. In fact I was forced one evening to walk 2 blocks and park in an unsecured parking lot where I also had to pay $10 to park overnight. I then walked back to the hotel at midnight, in not the safest of neighborhoods and then was told by the housekeeper that she would not open the door for me unless I put down all my bags and dug out my key. The other problem that we had was with breakfast. The lines were huge and the food was not kept very warm. I had nowhere to sit and had to carry my food back to my room on the 11th floor. I sat down to eat found hair in my eggs and the OJ was water basically. The few minor problems I could have overlooked yet the price I paid for this room and when compared to other Residence Inn's that I have stayed at was so not up to the standard I had expected.”

• The location was close to the Riverwalk and the River Center Mall. The staff was courteous and always helpful. The room was very nice and spacious.
• Not enough parking spaces for all guests. But there is a lot across the street.

“Great location, great room. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. It is a little overpriced, but I think it's because of the location being so close to the Riverwalk. Overall, I would stay there again.”

• Very nice. Most of the employees were very nice with the exception of Sam.
• Sam is really an asshole. All of his lower level employees are extremely nice. He should be fired. I almost wouldn't stay there again because of Sam.

“The hotel is great. Great location. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Would recommend it to anyone except for the manager Sam. If anyone from the hotel reads this, get rid of Sam. I would not stay there again, or tell anyone else to stay there if Sam is the manager. All of his employees are great he is terrible. Get rid of Sam.”

• Two bedroom suite was very spacious even for 6 adults.
• The iron in our room did not work. When we asked for a new one, it didn't work either.

“The hotel was great. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Great location at a great price. A short walk from the San Antonio River walk. My whole group enjoyed their stay.”

• Roomy suite with full kitchen, work area, living room, dressing area, clean, well decorated.
• Parking lot was very full and a crazy bar next door with people lined up outside to get in.

• Very few amenities.

“It was clean. You have to pay for parking because of the area. There are very few amenities. The breakfast is awesome, but limited on space to eat in the dining area.”

• Excellent hotel, very well keep and clean, excellent staff.
• I liked every thing.

“My stay at this hotel was a great experiance. My family and I were very well accommodated. The staff made us feel at home and my child enjoyed it. • Within walking distance of downtown San Antonio.
• We arrived back late one night and all hotel parking was full. We had to pay to park across the street.

“The hotel and its location were exactly what we were hoping for. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. We had ample supplies and were never in need of anything. The continental breakfast could have been more adequately stocked as it seemed to run very low by 9:15am each day.”

• The suites are very spacious. Beds are extremely comfortable.
• The view from our room, parking and distance from Riverwalk.

• We loved our view from the 13th floor also the great continental breakfast.
• I left an item in the room. When I called lost and found, I felt the person I talked to was very short with me.

“We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room. All of our needs were met. The staff was cheerful and helpful with directions. We were extremely pleased with our accomodations especially for the price we paid. ”

• I loved the location and the breakfast buffet
• All rooms contain only ONE bed and a sofa bed(very uncomfortable)

“A Beautiful hotel within walking distance of attractions. Parking is VERY expensive and much of the time unavailable. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen.”

• As close to the river in SA as you can get for a low price
• No concierge service, no restaurant/bar in hotel.

• It was very close to the River Walk and the Alamo. The breakfast was worth the price of the room!
• Lack of adequate parking. There was a nightclub next to the hotel that our family had to walk through the crowd to get to the hotel.

“The service was excellent and the rooms were spacious and clean! The breakfast was excellent and well worth our stay especially since we had a large group with us! We nearly saved the price of the room just with the free breakfast! I would recommend it to anyone and will try to stay there again.”
