“Great for a romantic get-away for our 20th anniversary. High quality accommodations, and very nice over-all feel.” Oct 21, 2009 by
Eric from Plano,TX
“Your parking is way overpriced! The front office staff was accommodating when I asked for a room away from the street. The restaurant was excellent again!” Oct 12, 2009 by
Donna from Howard,OH
“We were not satisfied with room because it was right next to a busy intersection. They gave us an upgrade with no additional charges.” Oct 1, 2009 by
Hector from Lubbock,TX
“Staff was very friendly and the Hotel main lobby was nice. Our accommodations were in a building adjacent to the main Hotel which meant we could not experience the main luxury of this hotel since we were in a different building.” Sep 10, 2009 by
Julie from New Braunfels,TX
“There are more amenities at 2 star hotels. Charged for wired internet, valet parking was mandatory at $30 a night, refrigerator was stocked with overpriced drinks but no room to put your own stuff.” Sep 10, 2009 by
Carol from Wylie,TX
“Mansion del Rio gives you the charm of old San Antonio with modern conveniences. It's right on the Riverwalk and very close to the Alamo. This was our second stay at the hotel, and we will go back. Staff members at the hotel excel at customer service.” Sep 10, 2009 by
Leeron from Plano,TX
“The location was very good but no guarantee that you and your partner will sleep in the same bed. Very disappointed in the service and no hotel staff was willing to help.” Aug 31, 2009 by
Joanne from Seabrook,TX
“Since our room was not clean when we checked in, they did give us a different room. It was not the kind of thing you would expect of a hotel of that caliber.” Aug 25, 2009 by
Joann from Medina,TX
“I will stay there again. The price was great for the quality received.” Aug 24, 2009 by

“Hotel is quite OK compare to price but not like 4 star. Location is good for San Antonio trip.Again, parking should be free and easy to access.” Aug 24, 2009 by
Amy from Highlands Ranch,CO
“Superb service - extra friendly staff. Very nice rooms - clean and spacious.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Eric from Jessup,MD
“This hotel was great, it looked nice. My room had 3 balconies. One which overlooked the courtyard and street, the other 2 overlooked the street and river walk and was right across the street from a starbucks. The pool was sort of smallish but went down to 8 feet, and it was nicely located. The elevators were slow though and the parking across the street is convenient and cheap.” Aug 7, 2009 by
Angie from Corpus Christi,TX
“Convient for Riverwalk, clean, friendly staff.” Aug 1, 2009 by
Sean from Frisco,TX
“Great stay.” Jul 26, 2009 by

Crystal from San Antonio,TX
“Upset that when we checked in we received a full size bed vs two double beds and we felt trapped due to no window for viewing outside. The room was very small.” Jul 7, 2009 by
Lori from San Juan,TX
“The hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and tried their best to meet your needs.” Jul 7, 2009 by

“The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.” Jul 6, 2009 by
Brian from Arlington, Texas
“We went for my 50th birthday. It could not have been nicer. After the reviews I've seen of less than a nine, all I can say is that there are no perfect hotels. They all have a few faults. The staff at the Mansion Del Rio is quick to respond to your every need, from the Bellmen to the Concierge to the food to the staff. Everything was absolutely spot on. The main dining room is fabulous, 3 levels inside to outside. The ambiance is total romance. If trees obstructing your view, and small rooms is all you can talk about, then stay home. This hotel and the surrounding businesses treat people like royalty. They know full well that if you're staying on the Riverwalk, then you are choosing to spend your discretionary income with them and they appreciate that. I cannot thank the staff at the Mansion Del Rio and the surrounding businesses for the way we were treated during our stay. Were going again very soon. If you want a cheap hotel with free coffee, then stay at Motel 6. If you know class when you see it and appreciate it, then stay at the Mansion Del Rio.” Jun 22, 2009 by
Kyle from Oakdale,LA
“My stay in this hotel was enjoyable. The elevator accessing our room was under inspection at the time of our trip and could not be used. The inconvenience of having to use the stairs or another elevator was minimal. the air conditioning in our room did not cool the room duriing the day, but we erequested a box fan and this made it much more comfortable.” Jun 22, 2009 by
Thomas from Ft Worth,TX
“This hotel was very noisy all night, the Jun 22, 2009 by

“Located right on the river walk it was in a wonderful location.” Jun 19, 2009 by
Carmen from Houston,TX
“Nice hotel concept for a Hyatt. Small lobby and limited eating available. Should think about having a nicer restaurant, because there is not much in the area. The rooms were very nice and roomy. Big screen tv was nice. The hotel staff were very friendly.” Jun 18, 2009 by
Cyril from Rapid City,SD
“Beautiful facility with relaxing pool area, comfortable room, ideal location on River Walk, wonderful service.” Jun 10, 2009 by
Michael from Kermit,TX
“This was simply a great place. We got a king room, I think that's awesome.” May 22, 2009 by
Joanne from Auburn,WA
“A lot of things needed repair, but the staff was quick to respond. They did put us in an area that was closed down for repairs and we were rudely awoken at 7 am while they were working on the elevator directly next to our room. I felt this was because we booked through Priceline. They did upgrade us to a room looking over the River Walk.” May 10, 2009 by
Shawn from Wichita Falls,TX
“The staff was so nice. We were greeted by 2 doormen than immediately gifted to my two boys, 9 and 4, a backpack filled with little treats. They were thrilled. In fact, my 4 year old carried his toys around the whole weekend in the Omni backpack. The front desk clerk, Andrew, was also amazing. He gave us a room right on the River walk. The boys were entertained with watching the folks walking along the river. The room was very nice and comfortable. The boys didn't want to leave.” Apr 25, 2009 by
Shirley from Mars,PA
“When taking the riverboat tour of the Riverwalk I noticed a beautiful hotel overlooking the water and wanted to stay there from that time on. This has been our second stay and we are thrilled with the wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings and I cannot think of another place I would like to stay when we come into San Antonio. It is a lovely hotel and we enjoy entertaining our family and friends in the relaxing courtyard before dinner at the hotel, the food and service are wonderful.” Apr 23, 2009 by
Marie from Houston`,TX
“Rooms are nice, location great, and pool is beautiful. Staff was very helpful and friendly and prompt.” Apr 22, 2009 by
Vernon from New Orleans
“This is a wonderful hotel right on the River Walk. BUT, the hotel has the worst service of any place I have ever stayed. The room service coffer was cold three days in a row, we had no housekeeping (had to ask for towels, soap, tissue paper, etc). If you just need a place to sleep and and can do without even the basic services. This is the place. Too bad, this is a beautiful hotel right on the River Walk, but that is all it is.” Apr 22, 2009 by
from Georgetown,TX
“Hotel needs to mandate no smoking in facility and not allow people to congregate in hall, smoking and talking loudly during the night. Hotel security needs to step up. my room smelled like cigarette smoke because people were allowed to smoke in the halls and they talked loudly the entire night! I am shocked by this hotel!” Apr 22, 2009 by
Vernon. from New Orleans,LA
“Wonderful hotel next to the Riverwalk. Poor service. Would not stay there again even if it was free!” Mar 31, 2009 by
Loretta from Austin,TX
“Excellent atmosphere. It made our 18 year anniversary very memorable.” Mar 25, 2009 by
Dennis from Allen,TX
“My wife and stayed at this hotel for two days to get out of Dallas and unwind. The small, dirty, loud room made this a trip to forget. The bathroom was very dirty with mold and hair everywhere. If going to the river walk I would recommend one of the other fine hotels in the area. Parking was very costly as was the room for what you got.” Mar 24, 2009 by
Raul from Corpus Christi,TX
“The hotel was great, friendly and location was great. Very good experience!” Mar 19, 2009 by
from Pasadena,TX
“The hotel was very clean and the personnel were friendly.” Mar 9, 2009 by
Jeff from Dallas,TX
“Great location, comfortable room, but not fancy. The layout is somewhat odd because if you are on one side of the hotel the most direct path to the lobby is going outside across the driveway. But overall a good experience.” Mar 7, 2009 by
Madeleine from Rockport,TX
“I will visit this hotel again, hopefully on a pleasure trip. I understand pets are allowed and I look forward to bringing my small dog with us next time. The river walk is beautiful and romantic place to come home to. The staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable.” Feb 25, 2009 by
Marisol from Austin,TX
“Loved this hotel, I will come back for sure. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend. We did not have to drive anywhere everything was within walking distance. We had a wonderful time I love this hotel!” Feb 17, 2009 by
Jeff from Flower Mound,TX
“The hotel is very nice outside and in. The rooms are tiny. The food from room service is awful and of course expensive. The location on the Riverwalk is great but the front door of the rooms are glass with a window next to it. So you have one wall that is all glass. Great if you have a view but bad if you want to sleep. It made it very noisy. I woke several times due to outside noise.” Feb 17, 2009 by
Steve from Kalamazoo,MI
“A historic hotel located in the heart of downtown San Antonio along the twisting section of the river which began as a catholic school in the 1800s. The Mansion Del Rio is very convenient to all of the attractions in the center of San Antonio such as the historic Alamo and Henry Gonzales Convention Center. Some of the hotel's rooms have balconies overlooking the Riverwalk and the hotel's Los Canarias restaurant is with friendly and helpful staff. The only negative was a very slow elevator in the wing of the La Mansion Del Rio where I was staying, something that might benefit from some maintenance calibration. Otherwise the Mansion Del Rio is highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on a future visit to San Antonio.” Feb 16, 2009 by
Christie from Edmonton,Canada
“The Omni was a very nice hotel - great location, right on the Riverwalk. If you want to party at night, it's great however, if you are looking to sleep, perhaps get a room not facing the river as it was quite loud. Room was very roomy but beds were small. Staff Jan 22, 2009 by
Johnny from Lubbock,TX
“Very nice experience, I will stay here again.” Jan 22, 2009 by
Greg from Houston,TX
“This hotel was great for a family trip to the riverwalk. The Omni treated the kids extra special and they loved it. Room service milk and cookies at night was their favorite. Access to the Riverwalk was super easy and the hotel was right in the heart of the riverwalk. The boat tour guide even mentioned the hotel. The only negative was that our rooms opened out the back onto the swimming pool/courtyard and there was quite a lot of people noise even until late at night.” Jan 21, 2009 by
Jennifer from Abilene,TX
“When we first arrived, the valet attendant was very helpful with everything and even gave us some information about the hotel and amenities offered. The front desk was very friendly and got us check-in very fast. Our room was very clean and well decorated. The only thing I would change would be the bathtub, It's rather small compared to the larger Oval tubs that are more common today. Overall, the Omni is a wonderful.” Dec 11, 2008 by
Juan from Kissimmee,FL
“The staff made my wife and I feel as if we were the only guest at the hotel. The location on the Riverwalk was perfect.” Dec 9, 2008 by
Mary Ann from Muskogee,OK
“This historic property is in a prime location for vacationers wanting to enjoy San Antonio.” Nov 12, 2008 by
Jesse from Austin,TX
“If you get to San Antonio and stay at the La Mansion you will experience the best of old San Antonio and a great location to move about by foot or car.” Nov 12, 2008 by
Tim from Siloam Springs,AR
“The Omni La Mansion was a fabulous hotel. It's location on the River Walk is perfect with the pedestrian bridge at its back door. Staff was invisible in the best way and allowed the guests to enjoy their stay unmolested.”
