• Location is excellent. Hotel is good for the price. Hotel restaurant was closed.
• Hotel was not quite what I expected for a four star rating.

• Comfortable bed.
• No iron, ironing board, refrigerator or complimentary breakfast.

“I reserved two rooms. They were across the hall form each other. On room had an refrigerator, ironing board and iron, The other room did not. i had to go across the hall to iron clothes and keep drinks in a cooler.”

• Location, clean, and very beautiful in all aspects.
• Had to pay for parking, had to pay for Internet use, and no free breakfast.

“Beautiful hotel. The staff was very helpful. Very clean. The only bad things you can say is you have to pay for parking and Internet use. But I was pleased with my stay.”

• The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable!
• There wasn't a mini-fridge or LCD TV in the room.

“The hotel and staff were excellent. The room was on the warm side when we entered. There wasn't a mini-fridge or LCD/HD TV. However, the bed was extremely comfortable! As were the pillows. I would love to sleep in that bed again.”

• The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
• We were not able to get a room with two double beds, so we had to use a roll away bed.

“Overall, I was impressed with our stay at Marriott. If I had to be picky, the furniture was a little worn but extremely comfortable. The public areas of the hotel were clean and welcoming. Parking could be tricky at times. Thanks for a great experience! I will use Priceline.com again. I have also shared this with many friends and family.”

• It was a very clean motel and nice gym room.
• Had to pay for the internet, didn't have any fridge or microwave.

“This hotel is more laid out for business people than tourists. The rooms was nice and clean but didn't care on the high price restaurant or paying for the internet. My son couldn't play his XBox because the way the TV was hooked up.”

• Very nice views of the fountain laden lobby from inside rooms. Very nice.
• The access to hotel services via room technology was a little confusing.

“Overall this was a great stay. The room was very clean, and updated from the carpet to the bathroom. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, as comfortable if not more than mine at home. This makes a big difference when you're staying for more than 2 nights. Had an inside view from my room of the lobby. If you can get on of those rooms do so. It's worth it.”

• The location was great. Staff very friendly.
• The bed wasn't good and the room was either too hot or too cold. The bedding made it impossible o get comfortable.

“All was good, but the bed was too soft and the coverlet too heavy and hot, and I'm cold natured. This was an older hotel and not up to the standards found in new hotels. It smelled like a swimming pool when you walked into the hotel - unsure why.”

• The check in / out was fast.
• The location made it a little difficult to get to. It sits at the corner of two interstates where the on / off ramps are not typical.

“The Marriott is the typical nice hotel with spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated so you don't feel so much like being in a hotel room. The staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. I wouldn't have any trouble bringing my family back here or opting to stay here again.”

• It was BEAUTIFUL! The beds were so comfortable.

“The staff was very pleasant. The room was GREAT! I didn't want to get out of bed the next day. Slept very good! The room service was good. The food was fabulous! Want to go back very soon! Would recommend this to everyone! Well worth the stay!”

• Clean, good value.
• Too loud, noise did not die down unit 11:00PM.

“Hotel was overall a good value. Rooms were clean and at a good location relative to where we were going, Seaworld. Lot's of restuarants around hotel. One bad thing was the noise from the rooms next to us. Quiet time for hotel was 10:30PM, but noise lasted to 11:00PM. Hotel didn't do a good job of enforcing their own rules.”

• The rooms were clean and cold.
• Mouth wash had bad taste.

“The comfort of the beds were unreal! The sheets had to be of 500+ thread count and the bed would swallow you. Throw in that the AC reached a Cold 58 F and the room was pitch black at 11 o'clock. I have not slept that good in ages!”

• Very accommodating, giving extra blankets and a crib for my infant without hesitation.
• The room hadn't been cleaned very though roughly. The coffee pot had water in it from a previous guest.

“Overall stay was enjoyable. Coffee pot hadn't been cleaned, which makes you wonder how well the rest of the room was actually cleaned. The front desk staff was very kind and friendly.”

• Please clean the hotel room thoroughly before a new customer checks in and look carefully for customer's belongings before you present an attitude.

• The beds were the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel!
• No refrigerator or microwave in the room.

“The beds were extremely comfortable! The location was convenient - right off 410, and near an on ramp. You can also walk to the Malibu Grand Prix next door with the kids. Very nice hotel -- highly recommend!”

“The hotel was nice, but we ended up having to sleep on an air mattress - they did not even have a rollaway - we had requested 2 queens or doubles and we received one king with no pull out couch or rollaway bed - I was not happy about that!”

“This hotel does not have enough parking, nor is the lighting good for the parking in the back of the building. The bartender was not anywhere to be found. We waited for 45 minutes for bar service while our room was being cleaned for an extremely late check in.”

• The swimming pool was clean, plenty towels.
• Restaurant was too expensive.

“Took my grandkids, daughter & son for weekend. Clean rooms, able to had connecting rooms with no problem. Kids loved the swimming pool, plenty of shade for non swimmers. Hotel staff was very friendly, restaurant staff was friendly also, but food was very expensive for a family of 8.”

• The hotel was located next to Malibu castle. We were able to play miniature golf and enjoy our weekend away.
• We were at the bar with another couple and their drinks were charged to our room. It was a good thing we knew them and were able so we got our $ back.

“Overall it was nice. Of course, the lobby looked like a 3 star hotel but, I would not rate the rooms as a 3 star. I have stayed at comfort inns that looked a little better. But, the rooms were nice just not 3 star nice. The bed linens were clean and so were the bathrooms. Excellent customer service. And, the bar made strong drinks, that is always a plus.”

• Manager was out and could not buy tickets to amusement park.

• The bed!

• The bed was soft and staff was friendly.
• Our requests were not fully met.

“Our request for double beds were not me because each family has two children. The iron did not work in one of the rooms.The room had too much lighting coming through the curtains while we were trying to get rest. We requested non-smoking rooms and we only got one non-smoking room.The front desk did add a fragrance inhancer to help the smell but it made little difference.”

• Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, located near enough to attractions
• Reservation was for a room for 3. They assigned us to a single bed with rollaway.

“Other than the rollaway, this hotel has always met or exceeded our expectations. You would think the clerk at the desk would know to assign a 2 bed room to a party of 3.”

• When we arrived (during a storm) the electricity was out in the hotel. They provided snacks to ease the inconvenience.
• I expected a little more "upgrade" in the room for a 3 star hotel.

“Good staff. Very accomodating in unusual circumstances. Gave good directions with maps and cards to local attractions. Maybe not a 3-star room but 3-star hotel overall.”

• The decor is a little garish, but new.
