• The staff was extremely cordial and helpful.
• I liked everything!

“This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we were extremely satisfied with the handicapped accommodations in the room. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others, as the entire staff is very helpful and professional. Very convenient.”

• The price was the best for a hotel like that.
• Difficult to find parking.

“The hotel was great for the price. The only thing that I didn't like is that I had difficulties in getting a space there. There were some trucks that occupied two spaces. Besides that I would recommend this hotel for the price.”

• Very conveniently located. Great continental breakfast.
• The bath tub was too high. Hard to get into when you are elderly or overweight.

“I really liked the hotel. However, the bath tub was too high. My mother and I had a difficult time getting in and out of it. Other than that, I would stay there again and request handicapped bath tub.”

• Location was very convenient to everything.
• Hotel front office staff had to be convinced that they could make a change in the room from a double to a single.

“Excellent stay at this location. Would like to do it again. Plenty of towels, and all the amenities that I needed. Only problem was in signing in when I arrived. Simple ignorance on his part. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice and accommodation.”

“The hotel was located in an area of town that required security, however, my stay was pleasant, the staff was very friendly, and my room was clean. The TV worked fine and overall I would stay there again if in the area.”

• It was close to Denny's.
• Rooms were old looking, and hotel looked run down.

“The hotel is right off the exit to the Airport and in the middle of a not-so-well maintained neighborhood. There were homeless people all over the area asking for handouts. This hotel is definitely not in a good area or part of town. Real trashy looking hotel with no laundry or vending units except for soda machine.”

• The only thing I liked about this hotel is that it is right off the highway.
• Terrible service. Unfriendly staff.

“The bed had small hairs all over it. The staff at the front desk is not friendly. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• Rooms and hotel in general is very old need to be updated.

“Hotel was very old room look like they could use a good touch up like new carpet, paint and sinks. I think this hotel has probably been there for a while and they should really consider doing a complete redo of rooms and hotel in general. I like the location it is close to many things in Laredo.”

• Easy to find on highway and quickly located my reservation.

“It was a clean hotel and easily spotted from the highway. The desk clerk was efficient and helpful when I asked for a restaurant recommendation. At check in, I asked for a room away from the highway side and a down stairs room, but this was denied. Other than that, I found the room clean and comfortable.”

• I would rate the quality of the hotel in the good range. It was clean and comfortable.
• No complaints.

“The hotel is family friendly and the rooms are clean. The only complaint is that the breakfast area was not kept as tightly as I would have liked.”

• The location is not attractive.

“The room was very clean and quiet. Was disappointed that we could not check in at 11:00 am instead of 1:00 pm as normal.”

• The location was great and the hotel and staff were very friendly and asked any question well.
• On Sunday morning the hotel ran out of hot water and the guest talk about this all morning at breakfast.

“The hotel was very clean and the room too, the staff greeted everyone coming in polite, the location was great also. The only problem was Sunday morning was all the guest were not please that the hotel ran out of hot water to take a bath.”

• Outside is not clean. Very poor sound insulation in rooms.

“La Quinta is doing it's best to provide a good experience for it's guests. However, the traffic noise is so loud and the rooms overlook the parking lot. A good, quiet nights sleep is absolutely impossible. I will never stay there again, it is just too difficult to get a good nights sleep. I was extremely disappointed when my two-star hotel rating garnered me this hotel, but now I know and will not make the same mistake again. There is just too much at stake to risk the unknown hotel selection factor. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience.”

• High-speed Internet did not work.

“Oddly, although I saw several signs for La Quinta on the drive to the city the hotel was in that read La Quinta - Spanish for High-Speed Internet, the high-speed internet did not work. I could not get a connection in my room, and I have a brand new computer with a top of the line wireless card. I called the front desk and they said they would give me a discount. This hotel was generally dirty, had an unpleasant odor, and was not even worth the $30per night I paid. If I had checked in without reservations, I would have immediately checked out after seeing the room. I have stayed in both Motel 6's in Laredo which are supposed to be lower rated than this hotel, and they are both significantly higher quality than this hotel. Also, at night, the parking lot is completely full and you will be parking far away from your room. I would recommend others to definitely NOT stay here.”

• The inexperience of the staff and not understanding their computer reservations.

“This Hotel did a poor job maintaining rooms for multiple day stays. They failed to empty the trash, provide new towels, clean the bathrooms, vacuum the carpet, replace soap and shampoo, leave new cups.”

• The Continental breakfast was excellent in regards to selection, freshness, and help if needed.
• The only complaint I could find with anything, was the a/c in our room needed to be checked as it was not cooling properly.

“The check-in was very easy. There is a security guard on duty all night. If you have any problems with any thing they are quick to rectify the problem. The employees are friendly and quite helpful. The location to the border crossing is excellant and finding parking for your vehicle is easy and close by. We will be returning in about a month and will probally stay at the same location. We had a great time and a nice experience. ”
