• Convenient location.
• Older hotel not well maintained. The room smelled and the bed was hard.

• It had a good location and free breakfast was okay.
• Double bed, noisy AC, unfriendly desk staff, toilet reluctant to flush.

“We would not stay there again. When we asked for a queen bed the staff said they would have to charge us for it. They said the typical room they give two adults is the one with two double beds. The tub was grungy, the toilet took lots of effort to get it to flush, and the air conditioner clanked all night.”

• The location was nice and the staff was friendly.
• The whole place looked run-down. There was no shampoo in the shower.

“I'm afraid this motel has seen its better days. I had the feeling this place caters to a lower class group than I am used to being with. The pool was clean but surrounded by gravel that was painful to walk on with bare feet in the 100 degree temperatures that were prevalent. I saved quite a bit staying here but next time, I'll pass.”

• Nothing.
• Bathtub was filthy, bed skirts looked old and crusty as well as drapes.

“The room looked pretty dated as the bed skirts and window drapes were pretty dirty and old. The bath tub was stained brown and looked like it hadn't been clean - inside and outside of tub.”

“For a quick overnight trip, it was reasonably priced. Our room was clean and comfortable, local paper delivered to our door, clean pool, nice continental breakfast.”

• The lobby was nice.
• Beds and restrooms were dirt.

“The motel room was dirty. There were stains in the bathtub as well as hair on the shower wall. The sheets appeared clean but very wrinkled as if someone had already slept on them. The bed covers were dirty and I had to purchase another blanket to use. I guess the best thing was the complimentary local paper that was given to all guests.”

• Service was fast and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
• Guide to TV channels and it would be nice to have more channels.

“Staff was friendly and fast to assist me. Slept comfortably. Nice cool, clean room. Convenient location. I would recommend this hotel to others. The only thing that could have made it better would have been for more TV channels to choose from and an onscreen guide to the channel lineup on the TV. As far as clean and comfort though, kudos'! Thanks and God bless!”

• Internet not working, desk clerk quickly dismissed my request for 1st floor due to twin newborns with medical concerns.

“Overall I was pleased. I was upset about the internet being out, but the person who I talked to on the morning of my departure was very helpful and offered a free stay to compensate me. She seemed very determined to please the guest. I will definitely stay there again.”

• Good location, breakfast is fast and easy, nice pool, staff very nice.
• Dirty shower.

“There was a 1/2 opened shampoo in the shower area from the past guest. Everything else in the room was clean. They are currently doing painting on the outside of the building and the parking was limited because an area was blocked off. Internet works well, pool is nice to lounge around, and all the staff was very helpful. Overall this is a 2 star hotel.”

• I fixed the toilet so it did not run all night.

“It was just nothing special, but I was in San Angelo and didn't expect much. I do love south Texas, but the hotel was not up to my wife's expectations. The sheets were dirty and the baby bed was not clean.”

“They told us when we checked in we could have a non smoking room the next day. Didn't happen. We asked to stay 2 extra days and agreed would be at regular rate, then at the last minute they could not grant that. Gloria was not at all helpful and really didn't want to try.”

• Toilet backed up, bath tub was cracked.

“I had to pay an additional 23.00 for my stay in cash when I checked in. There was no toilet paper and not enough towels in the room. When I called the front desk, they would not bring any up to the room. I had to go to the office to get the toilet paper and the towels. I will not stay at this motel again.”

• I had access to all the major points in town, not hard to find a food establishment.

• Worst bed I have ever slept in. Dirty Towels were in the bathroom.

“I would never stay here again. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered. There was a used wash rag hanging in the shower and the tub looked dirty. Needless to say since it was short overnight visit everyone waited to bathe until we got home.”

• Because we arrived late they hold rooms until 3:00 a.m.
• Nothing.

“We didn't have much time to review, arrived at 2:30 a.m. and had to check out because of our plans by 7:45 a.m. But it suited our needs for the few hours sleep we needed.”

• More of a selection on the continental breakfast.

“We had a very enjoyable stay here. Staff were very friendly and helped with anything that came up during the stay. It helped to make the trip relaxing and we had a great weekend.”

“Stay was fine for an older hotel. The room was clean. The shower head was low, leading to the need to contort in order to wash hair. The mattress could stand to be replacing, a bit on the lumpy side. Though and overall ok stay, you get what you pay for.”

• Staff extremely friendly helpful and efficient. Rooms clean and good use of floor plan.
• No microwave or fridge in room, for daily rate in this area, expected one or both.

“Located on the loop in san Angelo, this hotel was a great place to stay for the fort Concho Christmas festivities. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area (shopping, restaurants, etc). Very accommodating to our needs. Will definitely stay here again.”

• We had asked for a room last year and felt they would notify us. We had to call them.

• Pool was filthy. Lobby was a bit shabby. Ran out of hot water.

“It was clean, quiet and the room was good-sized. I was there with two teenagers and we were quite comfortable. There was a 24 hour What a burger in walking distance which was quite convenient. There were in-room movies as well. We ran out of hot water rather quickly.”

“We got a handicapped room. We did not request this and so it was unusual to us. It was non smoking but there was a faint smoke smell in the room. It may have come from the vents. Overall accommodations were very nice.”

• Room had not been cleaned upon arrival. Staff was very indifferent.

“Upon arrival, it was very difficult to find a parking space as a couple tour busses were occupying most of them closest to the room doors. We opened our room to find that it had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and the girl was very indifferent to this. She offered a new room but no apology and actually seemed bothered that I would bring this up. I travel to san Angelo often and will never stay here again.”
