• Close to interstate.

“The smell was 10 times worse than a cat's litter box. There was no possible way we could have slept in that room. We had to go back to the front desk to get a different room. This was not a good experience at this hotel.”

“We got in at 1:15am and were promptly and kindly greeted. Room was very adequate for few hours sleep. Continental breakfast offering was assorted and plenty.”

• I liked nothing about this hotel.
• The staff was rude and the rooms dirty.

“The first room was dirty, wet towels, trash, awful. The second room had not been cleaned either, the sheets were dirty. There were roaches crawling in the bathroom. We did not stay at all. The desk clerk was rude and very unhelpful.”

• Proximity to airport.
• Accessibility to 2nd floor.

“About the only decent attribute about this hotel is its location to the Midland airport. It has no high speed internet connection in the rooms. Access to 2nd floor rooms is terrible with few stairs and no elevators so be ready for a long walk with your luggage from the parking lot. Cleanliness was average, decor below average. Good for solo business travelers - that's about it.”

“This hotel looked decent from the outside. However, once we entered the room we were in for a surprise. The first bed was against the window. There was no walk room on each side of it. The floor hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom toilet was against the tub actually touching and everything in the bathroom was covered in rust. I have a 10 month old, and I couldn't give my child a bath it was so disgusting. The tub floor was rusty completely.”

• Power went out at very end of pay per view movie.

“I am not fond of exterior entrances, but this hotel is a way back from the expressway and that helps a lot. It was clean, quiet with nice furnishings and a friendly staff.”

• Towels were threadbare, no frig in room.

“This hotel was clean and generally comfortable. However, there were quite a few noisy inhabitants who came in very late.”

• The location was convenient.
• The mattresses were too firm causing lower back pain.

“The hotel was two stories & our room was on the first floor & we had a few black beetles come into the room. As stated earlier the mattresses were too firm. There were two beds in the room & one of the two was a little bearable. We didnt ask for another room as our stay was a short one.”

“We had a wedding present left for us at the front desk. All 3 desk clerks said they say it, but no one knew where it was. But you could tell they were lying. Also when I got there the front desk told me I would have to pay extra $10 for my room.”

“Found other places to stay that were just as nice for a lower price. This was one on the heaviest travel weekends of the year and they did not have the pool cleaned and ready. Price was too high compared to other motels next to it.”

• The room had been recently refurnished and was clean.
• The outdoor lights on the hotel were dim.

“The outer appearance was dark and there were guests who appeared to be laborers standing in the doorways of rooms talking. We were apprehensive about the safety of our vehicle parked outside. The room however, was pleasant and the lobby was nice. The breakfast was very good. Fresh choices would go back.”

“Hotel looked ok, but cable was not connected to TV, had to do myself. I asked for a king room and they said I had to settle for 2 full beds or pay 50 dollars more. We asked for a non smoking room, which they said it was, but it smelled like smoke and even had an ashtray in room.”

• I did have to request a change in the room because I was assigned to a smoking room listed as non-smoking.

• It was a good location. Central to all the major spots in Odessa. Simple to get to and leave.
• Beds were hard. Not a good TV viewing selection. 6 channels, poor reception. Not a good breakfast, just sweets and juice no milk.

“This hotel was okay. Moderate but not a good quality. The rooms were spacious but the beds were hard. The room kind of had a funny smell but I got a good noise. The TV selections were not good, just 6 channels with poor reception. Don't let the good breakfast sign fool you. It's just sweets, juice and coffee. No milk, bagels, cereal or anything else appetizing to get a good start on the day. The staff was friendly. It would be okay for may be just an overnighter.”

• Grounds nicely kept, and clean rooms.
• Not close to shopping area, traveled with spouse and had 2 beds but only full size.

“Very clean room but wouldn't call it a romantic atmosphere. Since my spouse and I shared a bed the full size bed, it was not comfortable for two although there was a second bed. We would have rather stayed closer in to shopping and eating areas. They did not have a refrigerator but did supply a coffee pot, ironing supplies and hair dryer. This was located on the outskirts of town.”

• This hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. Trains may bother some guests, but we live near one so didn't disturb us.
• There was nothing negative about our experience at this hotel.

• I heard a great deal of road noise.

• Courteous Staff and continental breakfast.
• Beds did not get made until 5 PM. While we were in a rush getting ready to go out for the night. Hotel too close to the train tracks.

“Besides the housekeeping situation, it is an okay stay. The continental breakfast was great. It is too close to the train tracks and another location that was very loud at night.”

• It was conveniently located and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
• We found a dirty shoe under the bed and there was no remote with the television.

“We have stayed at this hotel often while traveling. It has a convenient location, friendly and helpful staff and is normally sufficiently clean. Normally we are very satisfied with this hotel. However this last time we found a dirty shoe under the bed.”

• The room very convenient, very comfortable bed, personnel very friendly and courteous and breakfast every morning.
• I have to say the only thing was the location. Not walking distance to restaurant or any type of store.

“My five nights stay was very pleasant, very comfortable and I will definitely wish that on my next visit to Odessa, I will make my reservations at La Quinta Odessa.”

“Though I like this Hotel because of its location and its big rooms, my overall stay was not pleasureable. They tried to clean the room when I told them not too, and then didn't clean the room when I wanted them too. They made excuses about their lack of care and made me feel that I was the problem.”

• The hotel took the extra mile to accomadate our family and work with us on the price when having to rent additional rooms.
• Being out of town not knowing the highway , some relatives got lost.

• The employees were very friendly and helpful.
• The Hotel is next to a major train yard, you hear the trains all night long and the room was very dirty. I can't believe I actually paid for this room.

• Good location to major highway, staff was very accomodating, loved the fresh hot waffles in the morning.
• No shower cap, could have used one.
