• Clean room. We liked the configuration of the room and the friendly staff.

• Overall location to attractions we wanted to see.
• The continental breakfast was poor.

“Overall the location of the hotel is good. It is within a couple miles of Custer State Park. Only, 11 miles to Crazy Horse Memorial, and within 35 mile of Mount Rushmore. The hotel was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired. On a Friday morning they supplied waffles and biscuits and gravy for a hot breakfast. On a Saturday, they only had toaster heated French toast, which they ran out of, for a hot breakfast. Considering weekends, this should have been the other way around.”

• The location.
• Very generic, no microwave.

“Moderately priced hotel without any extra amenities. Had a very small pool. Great location in the black hills. It served our purpose since we were never in our rooms, but seemed a little pricy for what it had to offer.”

• The hotel was very comfortable and clean, nicely done.
• It did not appear to have an elevator. That could be a problem for some travelers.

“The motel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was fairly generic but the dining room was clean and well stocked. It's an excellent place for the family. It was very affordable. If you are going to Custer you will want to stay here.”
