• Huge room with living area also, huge TV, could almost live in a place like this.
• Bathroom could have been a little bigger given the size of the rest of the room.

• Toilet was stopped up and would not flush clear.

• The staff was fantastic & the hotel is new & clean!
• My stay was too short to enjoy all it had to offer!

“Highly recommended! I arrived late from a flight & the night clerk was welcoming & thoughtful. She upgraded my room to a suite at no extra cost! I only wish I had had more time to enjoy everything they have to offer! The 42 inch TV/media center is amazing too!”

• Lots of perks, clean and comfortable.
• Refrigerator wasn't working properly.

“The hotel is located about 9 miles from the airport. It's right off Pena Boulevard, which is an expressway to the airport. We stayed one night prior to an early flight. I had stayed at the Tampa Airport Hyatt Place earlier this year and also had a good experience. I like the chain. Staff was courteous and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. There are many perks with staying at this Hyatt Place: Large 42' LG HD TV with a nice variety of HD channels.- complimentary breakfast (although our flight was too early for it). Not just an airport shuttle. It followed us over to drop off our rental car in the evening. Pretty good considering the rental center is 7 miles away.- Fast, complimentary internet. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance including Applebee's and Uno's (we chose Applebee's because we didn't have to cross the busy road) - Nice indoor pool.-Shuttle starts at 4 am which is convenient because our flight was at 7 am. The only issue I saw with our stay was the in-room refrigerator. It did not seem to be working properly, beverages were only cool, not cold. Lots of competition in this area with hotels.”

• Car was broken into. Window was smashed.

“The room was fine and had everything I would expect. Our car was broken into that night. Nothing was taken but the window was smashed and someone obviously looked through the car. The manager was very courteous and helped us find a window repair person. She also let us stay past the normal check out time.”

• The staff was awesome.
• Someone left water in the ice bucket.

“Typical Hyatt Place and definitely not on the new side. It would be an awesome place to stay as a business traveler, but as a family of 3 (with the child being a very large 16 year old boy), it got a little cramped. We had to move furniture around to get in and out of the room once the pullout bed was set up. We had to go get linens for the bed even though we'd told them it was a party of 3. The very large flat screen TV was great; the melted ice water in the ice bucket was not. Made us wonder what else they'd forgotten to clean up. The continental breakfast was nice especially since we were in a rush.”

• Really nice lobby and superior room design. Free WiFi. No pushy bellhops.
• Carpet was stained in our room, and damaged outside our room. No phone book or in-room literature about area.

“We expected a Hyatt to be nice, but we were blown away by this property. The design made it one of the nicer places we've stayed. We had room for an upscale and expensive place the following 3 nights and we liked this place so much. Management has chosen to not put phonebooks and the typical travel information in rooms--when asked, the receptionist responds, You can get that on the internet, and it's free. Free, yes, convenient, no. Still, a great place to stay.”

• Updated or new property; huge flat screen LCD TV in room; very modern room decor.
• 15 - 20 minutes from airport, so not as close as other airport hotels.

“Excellent facility, updated & modern rooms with huge flat screen LCD TV (I had king-size bed room). Very modern & comfortable lobby space; accommodating staff. Prompt shuttle service even picked me up at the rental car return facility so I did not have to return to airport terminal to grab hotel shuttle. This courtesy shuttle made up for the fact that this hotel is a little further away (15 - 20 mins) from airport, versus other lodging options.”

• Location, clean rooms, set up well for tech/electronic connections.
• Staff not personable/friendly and not interested in taking time to be helpful.

“Good location within a few miles of the airport. Clean rooms, big screen HDTV with high tech connections. Pool and fitness available. Traveler be prepared to be self sufficient. Staff not trained to assist guest with basic requests such as a print out of final statement.”

• This was hands down the nicest hotel I have ever been in and it was very comfortable and a great value.

• The night time staff were very nice, however the Manager & day time staff were always watching.
• Manager & Day Crew I felt like they could see through the walls.

“This hotel room was very clean my friends room was just as clean the room was more than perfect very good use of space. That Credit goes to house keeping. The night crew made my friends & myself feel very welcome & comfortable. However the Manager was awful & the day crew follow in his footsteps. Rude & Snobs. Front Desk/Bartender emptied the bottle into my glass & didn't open another so I could have a $7.00 glass.”

• Easy parking, easy check in.
• No late night food. No bar. Very limited lobby area.

“Thought I was back in college staying in the dorm. I imagined I was in a European youth hostel. Rooms did not block noise of slamming doors which awakened me many times. Bed just ok. The promised 24 hour hot meal service ended at midnight (after I arrived). No bar (except beer) before midnight. No room service. Nice big screen TV with connection panel, but nowhere to set my laptop to watch movie. Big room but poorly designed. Closed was filled with ironing board at an angle, which I had to remove and set in room to hang shirts. Couch would have been better served with a small table to make up for no meeting/talking area in lobby to meet with my travel partner. Small kitchen area was nice, but no microwave so I couldn't even go to grocery store and heat frozen dinner. Internet free but hand to go through annoying Hilton portal which changed my iGoogle page and did not allow my Skype phone to work. Also no where on desk to plug in laptop and phone - had to unplug lamp. This would be a great hotel for a family on a ski layover, but do not recommend for the average business traveler. No tub (which I never use anyway) but shower was cheap and broken. Very small sink area with no where to set toiletries.”

• The LCD HD TV and the channels were in HD.
• Nothing.

“This hotel was the best I've ever stayed at. Finally an HD TV in rooms and it even had the HD Service. Fitness Center was excellent along with the pool. This place was definitely worthy of a 5 star. The staff was very friendly and always said hi to you. The only thing I didn't like was that I felt out of place while being in shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt. It was almost too ritzy!”

• Hotel was being remodeled, so some minor issues were present (no cold water in sink).

“Great location near dial. Free shuttle rides to and from airport/rental car returns. Nice room with comfy bed and large led TV. Hotel is being remodeled to become a new Hyatt hotel. Should be very nice once finished. Nice stay overall.”

“Once the renovations of this hotel are complete it will be fine -- until then I would stay away. Also the sinks in the rooms are located uncomfortably far from the edge of the counter.”

• Big comfortable room with huge plasma TV. Best complimentary breakfast with both hot and cold food.
• During our stay reception area was being revamped.

“I am sure that once the reception area is finished it will be much better. We arrived during work and it was difficult to find entrance and to get around. Breakfast was wonderful - tasty, with choices. Staff was helpful and polite. Rooms were spacious with a big plasma TV.”

• Super location! Easy to find and easy to get to airport. Nice and comfortable room.
• I have nothing negative to say.

“I thought it was an easy check in and exit. I liked the bedroom suite. It was a great layout with living room and mini kitchen that went into the bedroom with the two queen size beds. I only wished that we would have arrived earlier in the night and had more time to enjoy the facilities. I was so stressed about getting through the airport security that we did not stay as long as I would have liked.”

• A little pricey for a fairly standard stay.

“This hotel is easy to find. Close enough to the Denver airport to make for an easy early morning airport departure with no traffic challenge. Breakfast was fine. While several decent restaurants are across the road (Outback Steakhouse and a good deli), no theaters or shopping are easily accessible. I was glad I had a good novel, as our TV was nasty (funky wiring in the sound system) for which they apologized and promised flat-screen TV's within a few months, but that didn't help us! Overall, a convenient stopover, but nothing to write home about.”

• It was convenient, and the included full hot breakfast was excellent.
• The bed was less than expected in terms of comfort.

“The hotel property was well located for my needs, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room and lobby were clean and comfortable. However, the bed and pillows were not as comfortable as I expected. Also, there should be a second mirror in the room in case there are two people trying to get ready at the same time. Perhaps one over the desk in the "living room" would be perfect.”

• It was a little farther from the airport than I expected.
