• It was close to interstate 80.
• Hotel and rooms dated. Not a fresh feeling anywhere.

“This is an older Holiday Inn high rise. The hotel and rooms have seen better days. Not much money reinvested in furnishings or amenities. Didn't feel fresh and clean.”

• Atmosphere and all the extras more pillows, nice lounge.
• No complaints.

“I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff in every area dining, lounge, front desk. All very helpful with directions and good suggestions of what to do in Cheyenne. THANKS for making our stay FUN.”

• The lobby was beautiful.
• The pool was very old and didn't look clean, the gym is extremely outdated and had little equipment and no hot tub.

“The hotel needs some updating. It's convenient to the I80 which was very important to me during my stay.The pool and fitness area is a complete joke and should just be taken down. The equipment was extremely outdated and the pool didn't look safe enough to let an animal swim in. The man at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and rude.”

• Modern, beautiful rooms.
• The room was across from the ice machine.

“This hotel was very nice with the desk situated between the two front doors. However, I felt that the staff, though friendly, gave us a room across from the ice machine (noisy). Fortunately, the floors were mostly empty so activity was spare at the vending and ice machines. Otherwise, fine place to stay.”

• Easy to find while driving.
• Not in the Downtown Area.

“This hotel was okay. I mean it was the same as any Holiday Inn. I had one good clerk and one really rude clerk, so that was a bit disappointing. The city is easy to travel around if you have a car, but if you are without a vehicle this hotel is too far away from anything tourist.”

• I did request a slide sleeper pillow, but never happened.

• No hot tub, pool area was heavily chlorine with insufficient ventilation.

• The beds were comfortable. It was located in a convenient location.
• The Satellite TV didn't get good reception. The windows were not tight-the wind blew the curtains when the windows were closed.

“It was pleasant enough for a short stay. If you were wanting to get away for a special occasion, I'm not sure I would recommend it.”

• The hotel has been renovated and is much better rated than the 2 stars you gave it!
• Actually, there was bad weather (tornadoes) in the county and we had to go to the lobby twice but we understood the precaution for our safety.

“The Holiday Inn hotel in Cheyenne, Wyoming was clean and neat. It has just been renovated. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this hotel to my friends or family. I will be staying here again on future business trips.”

• The shower had good water pressure.
• Non-smoking room, but heater and vents, Smokey air from the patio.

“We were not very pleased with our stay here. The customer service was lacking, service to fix something in our room was so slow that we took the item to the front desk ourselves and at the restaurant we had a conflict about the kids eating free with a paying adult. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly though.”

• It was clean and the hotel was open till 11.
• With only one small restaurant that is not even open all day they should have free breakfast or snacks.

“The hotel was clean, and had a good, helpful staff. While there are signs that say there is a pool and spa there is no spa or hot tub, only a pool and a small workout room. Overall it was a good experience.”

• Location is not totally convenient.

“The Holiday Inn in Cheyenne is great for a short or extended stay. The rooms are wonderful with the choice of pillows an unexpected treat. The size of the hotel does not make the restaurant and other services real convenient, but the food is good and the service is friendly. The pool is ok for kids, but a hot tub and more complete exercise area would be a plus. Overall, I would readily stay here again.”

• I liked the room we stayed in and my kids loved the pool!
• In the bathroom a repair was made to the ceiling and was not done well.

“I would recommend this hotel to friends and co-workers! I had a lovely time, as did my family. The staff was very nice and quick to respond to any requests that we had for them. Thank you for the memories!”

• Breakfast hang tag never picked up from door. Had out 3 night and it never got picked up.

“The hotel rooms are clean but hallways and elevators have well worn carpet and a musty smoky smell in carpets outside of rooms. Very nice staff, the only items they were not able to help me with was when the internet was down for two day. They gave me 5000 priority club points for the hassle.”

• Very clean, bed was very comfortable, it was spacious, loved it.
• Only thing was no moisturizer lotion or shampoo.

“Was very happy with this hotel. One of the few we didn't wake up every morning with backaches. The room and hotel were very clean. It was easy to find and we had never been to Cheyenne before and if you go, try the Texas Steakhouse there, great food.”

• One of the main exit doors didn't always work with the issued key card.

• It was close to downtown.
• Way over priced and no Jacuzzi as lead to believe.

“First of all, nearly every hotel in Cheyenne is over priced. This particular hotel is so old and outdated. The tile in the bathroom was simply painted over and is now chipping away. The couch had large liquid stains on it. The air conditioning would not get any colder than around 75 degrees F. And despite advertising a hot tub/Jacuzzi in the pool area, there was not one. For less than what I paid to stay at the Holiday Inn Cheyenne, I was able to stay in a very nice 3 star hotel in downtown Denver. I would not stay at this Holiday Inn again or recommend it. There are much nicer hotels in Cheyenne and a lot newer ones, as well.”

“The price was right, but this Holiday Inn has seen better days. The carpet looked dirty, the elevators and security doors were in poor shape, and the pool area was gross. I won't stay there again unless they undergo major renovation.”

• The hotel was in a great location and met my expectations.
• We did not get the complimentary breakfast and they made rude comments about it.

“The hotel was very nice as would be expected from a Crowne Plaza. When we checked in the desk clerk was cordial enough, however when the person checking in next to us was presented with a complementary breakfast buffet ticket for his family of four ($9.95 per person) I inquired as to our buffet as this was on the internet site as a feature.”
