• My kids love the revolving door, and of course the pool.
• I did not like a lady who was in the hot tub in a thong and showing as much as possible. Not great for my young girls to see.

“Everyone at this hotel was kind and friendly. I stay here frequently when I go to the dentist. Thanks for having a nice place to stay.”

• Nicest staff of anywhere we have stayed.
• No refrigerator or microwave.

“The hotel & rooms were beautiful & spotless. We really enjoyed the Starbuck's coffee. WE asked for a refrigerator when we checked in but didn't get it until late the next day. Otherwise, there is no way you could find fault with this restaurant.”

• The overall kindness of the entire hotel staff.
• The hallways were being cleaned/vacuumed on the Thursday that we arrived, but were not cleaned again before we left on Monday evening.

• The decor in the room was very beautiful. Very luxurious. Classy furiture coverings and bed linens.

“The Marriot at Colorado Springs was a top notch, 1st class hotel. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The ammenities were complete,readily accessible, & well maintained. The rooms are exquisitely decorated with current fabrics and furniture. They had lots of extras-- great media hookups, large flat screen televisions, safes--to name a few. The bathrooms were something out of a home decor magazine with granite countertops and rich,dark wood facings on the vanities. This is located in a business area but had equal numbers of families and businesses travelers. There is something for everyone at this property.”

• The mountains were right our window and the lobby was beautiful.
• The room had a terrible smell that would not go away.

“Everything was good except for the smell of our room. The hotel itself was just beautiful. The lobby is just wonderful to hang out. My kids loved it. The inside pool I did not like but the outside pool was nice.”

• Manager is a little hard on kids (13 year old girls) for being to loud.

• The location and restaurant was perfect for my event.

“I like the hotel and the staff; however, I was dissatisfy with having to pay an additional $30.00 per day to sleep in a king size bed, which should be standard for husband/wife. Charging us to move to a Jr. Suite so I could sleep comfortably with my spouse in the same bed was unfair.”

• Starbucks down in the lobby was very friendly and nice.
• Room they gave us- terrible pillows, early morning sun ineffective black out shades.

“We had a corner room and early morning sun. The blackout shades were not attached to the wall, so consequently, lots of light came in through the cracks. The room smelled stagnant, and the lack of internet in the room made it for a poor experience. Management did nothing about the sun issue - it could have easily been solved with Velcro on wall and shades. Considering this was a Marriott, we were very disappointed, and would not return to this hotel.”

“This was a great hotel, clean, updated; everything was laid out perfectly. The Staff was fantastic & met out every need & then some! Plugs everywhere, outlets for Internet in perfect little cubbies. Great safe location. If I had to find a fault with this hotel, they didn't have real coffee cups, just plastic.”

• The hotel didn't have free wireless internet in the rooms.

“The hotel was very nice and I would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback for travelers is that you have to pay for internet service in your room. However, the hotel staff was very helpful when I needed to print and allowed me to do so from the front desk.”

• The beds were very comfortable, the decor was beautiful and contemporary, and the hotel smelled really good!
• The parking lot is weird and confusing and the restaurant was too expensive.

“My stay at first was nice, they were friendly. when i decided to extend my stay i had a difficult time with the staff. The rest of my stay, they were not friendly and did not even offer any assistance with the luggage even though i had two younger kids with me. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• Hotel is brand new and impeccably clean.
• Since it's so new, staff was unclear when giving directions to hotel and nearby locations.

“An excellent value and certainly a 3 star property, perhaps even 3.5 stars! The rooms are incredibly clean, the staff is polite (although still learning about the property and local area), and the rooms are top notch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend it to travelers of all sorts.”

• The views were spectacular. I saw rabbits and deer outside the hotel.
• There was a charge for the wireless internet.

“The service was excellent. Central location for many attractions. Beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Highly recommended for anyone's future stay in Colorado Springs!”

• 2 pools, 2 hot hut tubs both indoor and outdoors, as well as an indoor sauna. Very nice location and newly remolded facility.
• The restaurant food was amazing however the staff was yet to be desired and we waited 40 minutes for our food and a timely manner for the check.

“We only stayed here one night and I wish we would have stayed here longer. This hotel location is not right in the heart of downtown but it is only a couple minute drive to everything in Colorado Springs. It over looks the mountains and was overall an amazing hotel. I would definitely stay here again.”

• This hotel is immaculate, with very comfortable beds and friendly and helpful staff.
• The breakfast buffet closes too early.

“Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive to all needs. The room was beautifully designed with a view of the pool, Jacuzzi and gorgeous mountains. The lobby was warm, colorful and inviting. Each day we sampled the fresh mountain water with a variety of sliced fruit floating in it, which was a reminder to keep hydrated at this high altitude. The staff was efficient and knowledgeable.”

• Older hotel, VERY busy and noisy, even late at night.

“It was an okay experience, not great, not terrible. The staff was nice but they were out of cribs because they were so busy with big groups of travelers. There were all kinds of groups staying there including softball teams, church groups and business people. The halls were loud, even late at night.”

• Had a great mountain view. Was centrally located in COS. Friendly staff. Starbucks.
• $9.95 per day for internet service in the room.

“Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Lobby was nice. Was heading to front desk to check out. With luggage in tow, I was tired of waiting on elevator on the fourth floor. Decided to take the stairs to the ground level. Sign on door read "Emergency exit only - Alarm will sound". Walked back up to second floor to get on elevator. The next four elevators were completely full. Finally got on the fifth elevator after over ten minutes of waiting.”

• The staff was at tentative, friendly and even offered some out of the box solutions for me.
• A bit hard to find the entrance at first. The best entrance is from the main road.

• The elevators needed some work - there were 3 and one never worked and sometimes the second one was down.

• Had to pay for internet access in an expensive hotel.

“The hotel was great except for the fact that I had to pay $10 per day to access the internet. I have stayed at lower cost hotels and have gotten free internet. I have to have internet for work and school and was upset for the stay and didn't get internet free. That is my only complaint.”
