• Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator in the foam.

• The room was modern and very clean, fitness center was great.
• Starbucks cafe didn't have a lot of food options for a quick breakfast in the morning.

“My room was modern, very comfortable, and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The fitness room had several modern machines with individual TVs. The pool looked nice even though I did not have time to use it. I grabbed a quick Starbucks coffee in the morning from the bar. My only complaint was that there was only a package of bagels and a few pastries to choose from there. I could have gone to the restaurant for a larger meal but I was in a hurry and needed something quick. Overall a wonderful place to stay. I would definitely stay here again!”

• My room was located by elevator very noisy, disruptive when a party block up for 3 hours.

“I was very happy with the hotel until a function broke up. Some folks had book rooms. I was located close to the elevator which I first thought was great, but between 10:40 PM until 1:20 AM I was repeatedly disturb, woke up, by loud, rude people. I did not get a good night sleep, which let to my work meeting the next day not going well due to fatigue. I called the front desk at about 12:30 AM, but they did not come through with any thing effective to stop this noise, or offer to move me somewhere else. What could have been a great stay was a terrible stay.”

• The room was fantastic.
• Internet fees.

“What a beautiful hotel and wonderful accommodations. The high definition television in the room was super. The only criticism is that a hotel should be able to afford to give their guests free internet access and a free light breakfast.”

• This hotel provided 2 beds and a rollaway bed, as I requested. I truly appreciated that the accommodations were ready and waiting for us.
• No continental breakfast available.

• The bellman was somewhat rude.

“This hotel is a 3-star hotel by all means. It is elegant and clean, has a Starbucks and bar, is up to date, and is one of the best 3 stars I have stayed in.”

“We stayed there for convenience of access to where I had surgery. Must return sometime to enjoy that entire hotel offers. Have beautiful views all around. We could enjoy a few days just relaxing and enjoying being there. Very impressed.”

“The hotel was fantastic, but 20 minutes away from where I was attending a conference and the hotel did not provide shuttle service that far away. The minimum cab fair was $30, so the great price for the hotel was negated.”

“The Marriott Colorado Springs had a beautiful view of Pikes Peak and the mountains. All types of restaurants were close. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was stylist and very clean and quiet. Would stay there again with no complaints. Highly recommend to others.”

• Fruited water was very nice.
• When the doors shut on the rooms it is very loud.

“The hotel was nice the beds were very clean but a little hard. When the guests go in and out of their rooms the doors close with a bang. I was traveling with teenagers to a tournament and needed them to get to sleep early which was a little difficult with the doors slamming.”

• The floor we were on overlooks the lobby area and was very noisy.

“Hotel overall was nice. We've stayed there before. This time however our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the lobby/bar area. A lot of noise into the early morning hours from the bar area. Also outside the window the heating/AC unit was making a lot of noise. Would advise staying on any other floor but the 2nd.”

• The bedding is nice. The pool its warm and our kids love it!
• I did not like one of the greeters. Stood right in my way as I was making a trip to the car.

“Being alone as a woman walking to my car a time or two without my husband was not a pleasant experience. Other wise it was a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed most of the other people staying there down at the pool. The bedding is nice. My kids like that.”

• Very loud slamming doors, which need automatic door closers.

“The hotel has been upgraded since our last stay. The room furnishings: excellent TV, shower, toiletries, and duvet were fabulous! The only drawback was that the doors kept slamming shut all night long. This was not due to rude patrons, but due to a lack of automatic door closers and loud locks. We did inform the desk staff member about this. The location is great, and the views are wonderful. The workout room and pool area are a plus. Having your own (clean) headphones, towel, and water bottle while working out was something that I will now seek out in other hotels. Overall, we will continue to stay at this hotel!”

• Great views, location close to stores and restaurants, very nice and clean rooms, lobby and friendly staff.
• Too much noise comes from the corridors of the hotel, the walls must bee too thin so the noise travels easily.

“Overall, it was a good experience. everything was good except for the noise. When people were talking outside in corridor, it was like they were talking inside of our room. But everything else was very good: comfort, lobby, friendliness of the stuff, location etc. We really liked the Starbucks in the morning in the lobby.”

• It was big, clean, great staff, and indoor pool and a gym awesome.
• It was perfect.

“The Marriot on Tech Center Drive is an excellent hotel. Very close to plenty of attractions. Set beside Pikes Peak with an awesomely beautiful Mountain Vista. The room was clean and very tastefully decorated. The new plug in feature for displaying you laptop on a HD 2inch wind flat screen TV made me decide that I must have one for my own home. and it allowed my children and to watch DVDs. The indoor swimming pool was great and heated. Sauna and gym were clean. They even provided water and a couple of the tread mills had TVs installed on them. I Pod earpiece friendly. I have to say that overall the hotel was pretty sweet.”

• The restaurant was excellent.
• It was difficult to find.

“It had the most uncomfortable beds I had ever slept in. I was booked in a room next to the hospitality suite on the 7th floor they partied all night Friday and Saturday. I eventually had to move rooms on Saturday so I could attempt to get some sleep, even though it didn't happen because of the hard as rock beds.”

“It is doing some renovation; wallpaper being put in the exercise room. I loved that it is 100% non smoking, we spent four hours in the warm pool! My kids loved it! So did my husband and I.”

• Shower head, deep sinks, great bed and bedding, view, clean, friendly staff.
• I liked everything and the hotel met all my expectations.

“Fantastic hotel. Great people on staff. They provided shuttle service to a local restaurant. Room was gorgeous. The shower head was fantastic, the sink was deep. (Ever wash your face from a shallow sink?) The bed and bedding were 'down' and just very comfortable. The TV was new wide screen and great. I'm very pleased we got to stay there for the price.”

• When we complained that the banquet room was too cold, they responded immediately and fixed the problem.
• I requested a personal item the evening I arrived and did not get it until the next morning.

“The room decor and furnishings were awesome. There was also an incredible view of the snow covered mountains to one side and Colorado Springs to the other. There were several special touches, such as hot apple cider in the evening in the lobby and a beautiful container of ice water with sliced lemons throughout the day. The staff was responsive to our needs.”

• Very minor but road up to hotel very curvy and asked for extra pillows and didn't get.

“It was an excellent stay for my wife, son, and I. Very clean and modern. Comfortable bed. Great view out the window of course with the mountains. Very nice pool and fitness area. Great to have access to fast computers. Free Starbucks. Loved the Bath and Body Works lotion even. Was definitely one of the best hotel stays Ive ever had and stayed 3 nights!”

• The beds were extremely comfortable and maid service was excellent.
• It was hard to get to because of construction.

“We had two rooms for three nights. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. I enjoyed all the extra pillows. The rooms were extremely clean and when we had maid service, it was excellent. We had children of all ages and they were all happy.”

• Beautiful refurbished rooms with great beds, widescreen plasma TV's and more.
• Accessibility not the hotel's fault but the state has screwed them over royally by road construction and closures.

“Beautiful refurbished rooms with nice furniture and great beds. Widescreen plasma TVs (not HD yet but coming soon) with control panels built into the computer desk to view photos, pc screens, etc. On the TV with the appropriate cables. Unfortunately the hotel is a hard to get to thanks to the state temporarily closing the closest interchange to I 25 and detouring traffic miles out of the way and we almost couldn't find the hotel at night. The Marriott should sue the state for their incompetence. The lobby is attractive but some areas are temporary, such as their kitchen, the cocktail lounge, etc. When completed it should be beautiful.”
