• Location.
• Hotel staff made no effort to look for non-smoking room.

“Besides smoke stink in room, television remote did not work and buttons to change channels and sound on TV didn't work well either. Old TV's. Also, hotel does not offer free Wireless or any kind of breakfast, not even coffee in the lobby! The hotel is showing it's age and in need of an update.”

• The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! Our room was clean and quiet.
• Hotel does not offer a continental breakfast which would be nice when in a hurry.

• Spacious room and wonderful bed.
• TV trouble not checked as well as could have been.

“TV trouble written off because of snow but it really was the TV. We were there for 4 days and finally replaced on the 3rd day. Otherwise everything was fine.”

• The location was convenient and it was exceptionally clean.
• We would have been happy with a coffee shop/gift shop.

• Several pillows and soft bed.
• The TV was 15 inches. It was a smoking room and they could not accommodate me in another room.

• Airport shuttle.
• TV outdated/Air conditioning hard to control.

“I was surprised at how nice the hotel was for the price. The hotel was recently refurbished and room was nicer than I expected. Beds were excellent. The lobby was very pleasant with a Starbuck cafe, and nice bar. Did not dine in restaurant. This location was convenient to my family and shuttle was fast and efficient despite being a good distance from the airport.”

• The hotel manager welcomed us personally and allowed us special parking for motorcycles.
• Front desk clerk could have been a little friendly, she was a little cool.

“Very nice place with comfortable and large room, decent beds and nice linens, nice brand name bath products. Very nicely decorated. Shuttle service to local restaurants and airport was great. Indoor pool and hot tub was great. Tasty cookies upon arrival and the Wolfgang Puck coffee pod maker I really enjoyed.”

• Very beautiful hotel.
• The beds were too small.

“I thought the hotel was awesome. Beautiful decor and convenient access to everything including the location. The only complaint I had was we had a double bed room and the beds were small for sleeping two people. Great place and I would stay there again!”

• The atmosphere was wonderful. Loved it!
• A little off the beaten path. If no map I would be lost.

“Great place to stay. Will definitely stay there again. The older kids loved the pool, I loved the hot tub, the younger kids like having kid friendly movies. It was a really nice stay.”

“It was a great hotel. My room was not ready at 4pm but it was ready at 415. It was clean and felt very comfortable there. I would go back.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• The toilet ran all night and the air conditioner was very loud!

“I did not feel this hotel was as quality as you would expect for a 4 star motel the toilet ran all night and my husband had to fix it several times during our stay, the air conditioner was as loud as a jet and they promised us a fridge for our stay for our sick son and it was never delivered.”

• Cookie were good, hotel was nice some, staff was nice, overall had a good time.
• We needed a room with two queens they only had a king and there was nothing they could do to transfer and almost go with out a rollaway.

“We asked a room with two queens but the hotel was all out. There was nothing the hotel could do as far as transfer of hotels, they could not even give us a rollaway, because they were all checked out. We asked the staff to please save a rollaway if one gets checked in, we left and when we came back the lady at the desk said we had one come in but it already got taken, we got upset after telling her to save it. Then comes the young man at the front desk and he said, we did get a rollaway bed, it is already set up in your room. Well that was the rollaway and I guess that just shows some perform better then others, from that point on our stay was great.”

• The room was decorated nicely and very clean. Great mattresses, very comfortable.
• They did not have 2 beds available. Ended up with smoking room and we hated that.

“The hotel was great. Very clean, easy access to where we wanted to be. Easy check in and check out. If we hadn't had to be in a smoking room, our stay would have been perfect. We had to have two beds because we had both our children and the only room with two beds was in the smoking section.”

• The king bed was very comfortable, Quality linens, down pillows.

• We enjoyed the stay very much. It was conveniently located off of the exit and close to the airport.
• The only thing I noticed was that the indoor pool was too strongly chlorinated. My son's swim trunks were discolored.

“The hotel was wonderful. It's location was right off of the interstate and minutes away from the Denver airport. The staff was friendly and attended to our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will be in the area. Very clean and up scale for a hotel of its class!”

“The staff said was smoke free, but it reeked of smoke and had ashtrays throughout the room. They charged for internet which is almost unheard of. The tub drain was broken. No refrigerator in the room. I have had a nicer room at a Motel 8. Very disappointing.”

“First let me say that during my Colorado trip, I stayed at 4 different 3 star hotels and had good experiences at all of them. I think this particular hotel has a discriminatory attitude towards customers. I felt this personally at check-in and observed it again at check-out with another guest. The front desk clerk warned us as we headed to the room to let them know if they could help us with the smell of the room. Boy was she right, the room wreaked of smoke. I called back to the operator and offered to check in at a later time, if they could find us a non- smoking room. Amazingly, that is all it took to move us to another non-smoking room on the 4th floor. I would have been extremely unhappy if we had been stuck with that first room! Overall, this hotel was not at the same level as the other 3 I stayed at.”

“I liked this hotel. It had a pool, hot tub, and very comfy beds. I loved the toiletries provided and the room service was actually great food! There's a 'Rosie's Diner' about 30 seconds from it and that's a great place to eat. It's not in the best part of town, but it's ok.”

• Nickel and dime for every additional item within hotel.

“Overall, the hotel was nice. Having stayed there before we knew kind of what to expect. Unfortunately, all the niceties provided before were no longer available. Breakfast was not included, only if you had a special room. Internet was charged extra per day. The room had no refrigerator or microwave, however a refrigerator could be added for an extra charge. Not really a three star hotel.”

• The hotel was clean, most staff was helpful.
• The walls are very thin could hear neighbors all night.

“This hotel has good business setting in the rooms and they were clean. The walls are thin I could hear the neighbors all night, and after I checked out the hotel put many different charges on my credit card for things that never existed in the hotel. I have called several times with no answer and finally had to dispute the charges. Warning watch your statements after you check out.”

“Overall, this was a very good experience. My only two complaints are 1) I requested a roll-away bed for my daughter at 3:30 pm prior to leaving for an outing. At 9:00 pm when we arrive, tired and ready for bed, it had not yet been delivered and 2) the lady who checked us in constantly stepped away to take phone calls, presumably from guest, which significantly delay check in all the while a colleague stood and watched. This was very frustrating.”

• It was quiet. The towels were well stocked.
• The food stunk. The pool was cooled. The drinks at the bar were watered down.

“The room was nice. We couldnt regulate the room temp. The pool was very cooled which would explain why no one was using it. The restaurant was the worst. The food was plated very nice but had zero flavor. The wait was long causing people to leave. The wait staff was just there. Very bad restaurant.”

• The swimming pool facility was great.

• The room was gorgeous and my travel partner was very impressed with the nightly rate we got!
• Every time I had a question for the front desk they were busy or talking amongst themselves. It was a little irritating.

“The doubletree hotel in Denver is beautiful. The room was spacious and luxurious. I loved the entry way to the hotel and the hotel bar was very nice. I felt at home and I think it would be a perfect hotel for business travelers.”

• The hotel was very modern. Also, I was very happy with the toiletries, such as Neutrogena products.
• The cookies were not as good as usual and the desk staff was not very helpful in giving directions and helping find transportation.
