• Nice, clean, and the location. Good service.
• The engineer. Did not speak good English, and there was no help with the thermostat. But I figured it out on my own.

“The hotel was easy to get to, off the highway. The staff was very pleasant. There are good restaurants close by, and a great mall. The restaurant in the hotel, seemed to have good food too. The noise factor was very low. And bedding very comfy.”

• The location was good for us, the area was nice, the bathroom was clean and large.
• Hallway to room was excessively long, only one set of elevators, only one entrance/exit.

“This hotel met our needs, was centrally located to the business and attractions in that area of Denver. Was definitely a 'business' orientated hotel, very busy with conferences and meetings. The pool was clean, the exercise room was clean and well equipped, and the elevators were roomy and always available. Room service staff were friendly and efficient, lobby was attractive and clean. Biggest disappointment was the charge for wireless internet in room, but lobby had it free of charge so not that big of a deal.”

• Close to were we had to go.
• No free internet in the rooms. Cost $13 per day. Not good.

• Great location, quiet rooms, very comfortable, spacious and clean.
• Only quibble was with the TV - hard to operate the remote for some reason.

• The staff was very solicitous and friendly.
• The food at the hotel isn't worth it.

“Sadly, the food at the restaurant attached to this otherwise, gracious and beautifully appointed hotel is the exact opposite of the hotel and the hotel staff. The staff was courteous, friendly and solicitous. The hotel was clean and felt safe and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The only decent meals I had were breakfast; I just can't recommend the food at Sonoma's.”

• It was convenient and very, clean. Very confortable.
• The restaurant didn't open until 6:30. My husband had a 6:45 am pick up. Couldn't find anywhere else to eat. 15 minutes not enough.

“This hotel was well kept and very comfortable. The restaurant was not user friendly. The menu as well as the hours were limited and we will not go back for that reason.”

• The staff went well above expectation to acknowledge guest in a very friendly manner.
• No refrigerators in the rooms.

“This hotel was extremely clean and the management is to be commended for their attention to the customers comfort. The staff went above and beyond to greet and assist the customers during the day or evening. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. The addition of a fridge and flat screen would be nice but that is a minor detail and I would stay here again of traveling anywhere in the Denver area.”

“Hotel's location allows for easy access to freeway. Centrally located to the Tech Center and you are able to get to the Tech Center via side streets instead of the freeway.”

• The pool area was very nice and well maintained. Exercise room was stellar.
• It took 8 hours, 3 trips to the front desk, and 4 phone calls to get a roll-away bed for our family.

“The hotel staff was friendly, but did not accommodate us well at all. They were unaware of hotel policy regarding roll-away cots in the room. We were frustrated that it took 8 hours to get a roll-away bed delivered to our room. We had requested two roll-away and were told they would be provided, but 8 hours later, we were told only one was allowed per room - but, it took 8 hours to get that one! Absolutely ridiculous! We were traveling with children!”

“The morning I was checking out, I asked the concierge if Einstein Bros Bagels was on Yosemite. I had to repeat it 3 times and slowly, before she threw up her hands and palmed me off on a clerk from Thailand. Again, 3 attempts of the question and then I realized my GPS system in my car at least was from the US. That was how I answered the question, but why have a concierge if they don't speak English. The hotel was in Colorado after all. It seems someone who speaks our language should be at the front desk at all times.”

• Lovely accommodations - view, balcony, room in general.
• Beds were hot (probably tempered) and thermostat didn't work well. Too expensive - but I blame Val. $8 for a bowl of oatmeal!

“This hotel is a lovely setting and quality accommodations to a point. It is best if you want to spend time there but not sleep since the mattress holds heat in and the thermomostat didn't seem to respond correctly. Vail is, of course, too expensive to make it a "good fit" for most for hotels et al.”

• Hotel was very clean and neat. Location was great for utilizing Park Meadows area.
• Only entrance for registered guests was front lobby. Required long walk from certain areas of parking lot.

“This Marriott is truly designed for business travelers. We frequently stay in Marriott's when we escape as a family- often times the Marriott on Belleview in the Tech Center. We did not find this Marriott to be overly family friendly. The entrance is not very welcoming and the lobby feels cramped and unwelcoming. The biggest issue we had with this Marriott is that the first thing that greets you when entering the hotel is a cloud of smoke and the smell of smoke. Although we appreciated the fact that the hotel was designated as smoke free, the outside designated smoking area was 10 feet (if that) from the entrance to the lobby. Every time we either arrived or left the hotel, the smell and displeasure this brought was overwhelming. We were also disappointed in the fact that there is only one entrance to this hotel. We stayed on the east wing of the hotel and were forced to use the main entrance every time we returned to the hotel. Due to the nature of their parking, this forced us to walk a great distance at times to enter the hotel, while carrying all the things necessary when traveling with a 5 month old. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed in many of the features that make a hotel user friendly.”

• I can't think of anything.

“My assistant booked the room for us to stay Valentine's Day and the 15th which is our anniversary. We were both so impressed with the helpful and friendly staff and the room was beautiful. We loved the bed and down comforter and we're very appreciative of the non-smoking environment. We had a late dessert and Champagne on our anniversary at the restaurant and it was fabulous. Not only would I stay here again, I will be recommending it to everyone.”

• Nice, modern, clean, room fast elevators music in lobby.
• Small shop had poor/slow service, doorman asking what you needed as soon as you walk in the door I did not need anything just going to my room.

“The hotel is very nice. Staff helpful. Rooms very nice and clean. Bed nice. Air/heater in room one of the best. Did not use pool/hot tub or exercise room but they were quite nice also. Motel along I 25 between two exits; a little hard to get to. Overall, the quality of the room and motel was excellent.”

• Room freshener spray or room deodorizer was used, it's not healthy to breathe that chemical mixture.

• No complaints.

“Better service than the 3 star rating. Very friendly and helpful staff. Felt like a regular customer, not a discount traveler. Room was clean and promptly serviced each day. I was never bothered by the constant "you need to leave so we can clean your room" intrusions I received at other hotels.”

• The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and well lit, the heating / cooling worked very well.
• The wonderful comforter was "noisy" when shifted and moved about.

• The accommodations were very nice. The staff was friendly even during our late arrival.
• The bed was not as soft as I would have imagined by looking at it. I was a bit stiff the next morning.

“I would gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends. The room was very attractive and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival and check out. They provided us with written directions to several locations in the Denver area.”
