“Take off your shoes and see how fast they turn black, trash under couch, trashy sheets. Bugs everywhere, possibly bed bugs know at least two other guest bitten. Mold tile in bathroom. We had black windows and centipedes. Mold under bathroom sink. They never clean barbecue. The rates are cheap because its a slum. Just a bundle of filth mold in window cells check all this out. If your are going to stay overnight, it is okay. Long term it is disgusting, any good reviews must be done by hotel staff. Corporate was rude and unaccommodating.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Sarina from Albuquerque, NM
“My first initial impression about this hotel was overall all good. The looks of the hotel are deceiving. While checking in late at the hotel staff was unfriendly. Infect the person on duty even look bother for my late night check in. Limited lighting. One light working in the whole room. Found several bed bugs on the bed and in the covers. Had to change linen myself. Very dissatisfied with service.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Lindy from Greeley, CO
“The staff was wonderfully kind and accommodating. The room was clean and served my needs when on a budget.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Nickling from Smyrna, GA
“I liked it, this one was cleaner the other Homesteads that I have stayed in.” Feb 29, 2008 by
Tony from Wessington Spgs, SD
“Room in lousy condition, generally dirty.” Sep 14, 2007 by
Laura from Littleton, CO
“This hotel was awful. It was disgusting. My sheets were dirty and had obviously not been changed. There was trash in the room from a previous guest. The shower and bathroom were absolutely filthy the shower had hair and mildew all over. There was a splattering of something brownish red all over the bathroom wall blood? Coffee? This hotel should be shut down! I didn't expect any luxury for such a cheap motel, but I did expect something clean. I didn't even end up staying it was so gross.” Jul 30, 2007 by
Sonja from Julesburg, CO
“There was trash left in the trashcan under the sink.” Jun 24, 2007 by
Pete from Omaha, NE
“The hotel was pretty much what I expected.” May 1, 2007 by
Sabrina from Elizabeth, CO

Clorinda from Pueblo West, CO
“The room was not very clean. Our bed had dirty sheets.” Nov 8, 2005 by

“I loved everything about the hotel except for the fact that it was very dirty.” Oct 5, 2005 by
Spencer from Salt Lake City, UT
“This was a great hotel, one that I would stay in over and over again.” Oct 4, 2005 by
Kris from Wray, CO
“The staff was very helpful when we needed something, location was nice.” Sep 30, 2005 by
Henry from Pasadena, TX
“The service is very poor, I called the hotel the night before when I was on my way and I told them the approximate I was to arrive and the person at the reception said it was okay as whatever I was to arrive there was to be somebody, unfortunately, when I got there I saw a sign that they do not open until after 9a.m, so I had to stay outside after having driven for over 18 hrs, and to make it worse they do not have a lobby. Needless to say I can never stay at that hotel again or even recommend it to anyone.” Sep 29, 2005 by
Wendy
“They need more help in office - had to call for someone when our key was coded wrong-nobody available at 9 am when we checked out - bed was terrible(mattress bowed in middle and pillows were completely flat) were wakened by continuously beeping alarm clock from adjoining room.” Sep 28, 2005 by
Heather from Pueblo, CO
“If you're a smoker demand a non smoking room. The rooms aren't labeled well so be prepared to drive around the parking lot 4-5 times. The place looks nice on the outside but is a dive inside. Drive up the road it's cheaper and much nicer at Holiday Inn.” Sep 27, 2005 by
Donna from Colby, KS
“We were pleased overall with our accomodations. We did not realize that we would need to bring our own hair dryer, since that is such a standard feature in most lodging these days. We had our own toiletries, so that lack of shampoo was not an issue. We were not bothered by the small space, but were surprised by it. The remote for the television needs to be replaced.” Sep 25, 2005 by
Nicole from Broken Arrow, OK
“My stay here was pleasant. The staff was kind and the room comfortable and well equipped. The only negative was that I was double billed and have not been able to resolve the issue yet. However, it was a pleasant stay overall.” Sep 22, 2005 by
Chandan from Rapid City, SD
“Couldn't get housekeeping to come in for the first eight days. Called front desk about ten times, finally had to wash towels myself. Certainly wouldn't want to stay again.” Aug 27, 2005 by
Russell from Littleton, CO
“this hotel should be listed with 1 star motels not in same class nor comfert as most 2 stars you list.Im not trashing homestead because in the past i've been happy with them.” Aug 24, 2005 by
Matt from Lubbock, TX
“The hotel is in a great location; a safe neighborhood. The room was spotless and nice with a full kitchen! It was wonderful!! A great place to stay” Aug 16, 2005 by
Kelly from Clifton, CO
“I would definitely stay again. It has a nice set up and the kitchen area had all the amenities needed to do your own meals. If you are looking for a home away from home this would be a place to try.” Aug 5, 2005 by
Barry from Orem, UT
“Overall a disappointment. If you wanted shampoo they charged a fee. There was no diswasher detergent to wash your dishes...probably a fee also. We were in a room where they were doing construction on all rooms next to us and the one we were in wasnt all the way done. Vacuum was going outside our door at 8AM.” Aug 4, 2005 by
Christi from Kirk, CO
“Generally nice and clean, but we were disappointed by the trash can overflowing under the stairs and several piles of dirty linens laying outside doors on the upstairs walkway. The suites are small, but convenient” Aug 2, 2005 by
Jeff from Colorado Springs, CO
“The staff seemed very pre-occupied every time I needed assistants. Both with company issues and personal calls. The room was mostly clean, but I would recommend they use better cleaners. The room had a kitchen but lacked the necessary tools to use this feature. There was no pool either. This was very disappointing. Overall, it served it's purpose for us. However, I would not say that we'd stay there again if given the choice.” Jul 31, 2005 by
Jim from Rushford, MN
“Have used several times to land at this hotel for business. It is great for business travel. Would stay here again.” Jul 31, 2005 by
Marcia from Fort Garland, CO
“Would stay here again, even though the location isn't as convenient as I would like. It was nice having a kitchen at my disposal, and I did end up using it!” Jul 30, 2005 by
Tara from Colorado Springs, CO
“The hotel provides all comforts of which customers expected. It needs to inspects more closely of the cleanliness of the entire room. There was a dirty mirror in the bathroom and spaghetti sauce splattered on the kitchen cabinet at the last hotel I stayed. These may be minor problems in many people opinions but may be a major turnoff for others. I like the front desk clerk professionalism and his willingness to meet my needs.” Jul 29, 2005 by
Rodney from Scottsbluff, NE
“dishes dirty ,no shampoo provided ,internet service that i paid for was down during night, dirtier than i've seen ” Jul 29, 2005 by
Sara from Littleton, CO
“This hotel needs help. The front desk is not open 24 hours, and the hours are posted outside the office, but when needing emergency assistance for no air conditioning in our room at 11:00 p.m., we called the operator and were transferred to the national operator. After calling three times in 40 minutes, we were told someone would call and come fix the problem. We never heard anything. After enduring an 85-degree room all night, we went to the front desk the next morning. We were transferred to another room, and given no assistance in our move. We were also told we would be credited with a night's stay. To this point we have not received a credit on our charge card.” Jul 26, 2005 by
Fred from Quincy, IL
“Very pleasant and helpful staff. Convenient laundry room on sight. The room was clean and comfortable. The only suggection would be to provide a better set of dishes, particulary the drinking glasses. Overall a very good experience, thank you.” Jul 25, 2005 by
George from Aurora, CO
“The room key did not work twice when I cehked in and I had to go back to the front desk to get re-programmed. In 105 degree weather, the air conditioner did not work. The front desk was out of wireless bridges, so their advertised availablility of wireless internet was not true. The front desk clerk was less than hospitable.” Jul 22, 2005 by
Ryan from Rushslvania, OH
“This hotel was nice. Value was excellent. The television was not very loud (room 306) In my opinion a person who has difficulty hearing would have a very difficult time being able to hear it.” Jul 19, 2005 by
Marge from Lolo, MT
“This hotel was great. The staff were very pleasent and the room had a nice kitchen area” Jun 28, 2005 by
Linda from Colorado Springs, CO
“It is very friendly, clean and very efficient.” Feb 23, 2005 by
Melissa from Laramie, WY
“Over all the hotel was fair. There wasn't a lobby to rate. The doors are located on the outside and didn't feel very safe. There was no parking available. There were dirty wash rags left in our room and the dishes were dirty. It was an okay hotel, but wouldn't be nice for a romantic get-a-way. Over all I think it is only a one star hotel, if that.”
