“Great location and very comfortable rooms make this a perfect choice for a stay in the Denver area.” Jul 1, 2009 by
Jeana from Phoenix,AZ
“The room was often left dirty with dirty glasses, garbage not dumped, ice bucket left with old water. However, it had the most comfortable beds, linens and shower as well as a very friendly staff. Also, elevator was quite scary- slow moving and strange squeaks. Outside door was broken as well.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Amy from Parker, CO
“Overall was very happy with this hotel. I loved that it was walking distance to the light rail. Just didn't like the location of the indoor pool. The area was open and not private. Everything else was great. Great selections from the menu for room service.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Audrey from Espanola, NM
“Everyone had great customer service. I believe the night stand was too high and too close to the bed. My friend just turned over in the morning and injured himself.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Samantha from Gillette, AA
“I had a great time at your hotel. It was very nicely decorated on the inside. The hotel rooms were very comfortable, and pleasant to stay in. I love staying there, and I will stay there on my next visit.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Ramona from Farmington, NM
“Overall we enjoyed the hotel. It was easy to get on and off the interstate for us.” May 28, 2008 by
Scott from Evanston, IL
“Great location for the DTC and South Denver. Staff was friendly, room was very nice though bathroom a bit small and TV not upgraded to flat screen yet. Workout facilities good, Wi-Fi good. Bar area large and furnished in neo-ModSquad, but nice. Restaurant service was slow and expensive for what you get, but OK. I'd stay again but eat elsewhere.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Gene from Lovington, IL
“What I need more than anything else when traveling is to know that on my return to my hotel I can relax. And the two prime contributors to that are simple, a clean, comfortable bed for a good night's sleep and a nice Jacuzzi to unwind in. My experience is that even most 1-star hotels have Jacuzzis, but I wanted to be sure and so made my minimum level of request 2.5 stars. One day I had some food I needed to warm up and asked if there was a microwave anywhere that I might use. I was pointed across the hotel parking lot to a nearby gas station. But, I don't blame the hotel. They made no such claims for these things on their website. And the services they themselves promise, they not only do provide, but provide well. This hotel had a very fancy exterior, and a large well-appointed lobby. But for the things that make a difference in a person's actual enjoyment of the property, they didn't offer the things that make for anything more than 1-star. Sure they had a coffeemaker in my room, a small pool, and a single computer station -- the Motel 6 I spent 1 night in on my way to my destination offered all of these things as well.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Steve from Litchfield Park, AZ
“Construction work on front of hotel had no impact on the comfort of our stay. The firm, comfy bed had a great down comforter on it. Big desk. Even the sofa was very firm & comfortable. The staff was very friendly yet professional.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Tom from Woodland Park, CO
“I stay two nights/week in the Denver tech area and repeatedly will stay at this particular hotel as often and I can. The staff recognizes me and treats me very well, and the rooms are very comfortable.” Mar 8, 2008 by
Tom from Woodland Park, CO
“It was very easy to hear through the walls, not only the normal talking, but both nights I was there the couple next door were really "going at it" and knocking against the wall until early in the morning. Although it was somewhat humorous, I had difficulty getting a good night's rest.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Trent from Bushland, TX
“The lady at the counter was very rude upon checking, hotel is under construction, they didn't clean our room after the first night, they didn't have enough towels for each one of us to bathe once, shower didn't get hot, internet wasn't fast, and the bed was ok but the pillows they had resembled the ones you get on the airlines. I will never stay there again.” Jan 3, 2008 by
Kimla from Nathrop, CO
“This hotel was difficult to locate and the staff was unhelpful at best. Once we received our room, the stay was nice. The room was clean. We were told we would be charged extra for requesting two beds even with only 7 cars in the parking lot. We ultimately were not charged extra. We were told to never use online reservations to just walk in to this hotel. The two hour wait for our room was very frustrating and this policy needs to be posted on your website if it is indeed true.” Dec 17, 2007 by
Allegra from Wheat Ridge, CO
“A nice friendly place where you can keep to yourself and enjoy the scenery.” Mar 27, 2007 by
Jan from Ulysses, KS
“Overall, I was pleased with my stay.” Dec 20, 2006 by
Mcgrraw from La Crescent, MN
“Convenient, clean, quiet, great breakfast, wonderful place to stay.” Dec 11, 2006 by
Pat from Sun City West, AZ
“An excellent hotel in a great location. When the remodel is finished, which will be soon, it will be the best hotel in the area. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was lovely.” Nov 22, 2006 by
Dave from Pearland, TX
“This hotel is aging and was being refurbished. Some of the fixtures (elevators, carpets, etc.) were worn. The bedroom was extra large, but the bathroom was about as small as they get. The breakfast room was great, but the restaurant was closed down (I seldom eat at motel restaurants anyway).” Nov 14, 2006 by
Steve from Steamboat Springs, CO
“It was not a good time to visit this hotel as it is under major renovations and most of the amenities were closed.” Nov 2, 2006 by
Lisa from Nixa, MO
“The place is undergoing a remodel, and will probably be quite nice when it's finished, but in the meantime, the customer service seems to have slipped. Unlocked outside access doors, poorly maintained elevators, and staff that constantly refer you to other staff (Can we get a fork? Go ask the front desk. Front desk: You'll have to call room service.) Is a bit frustrating. None of the going the extra mile. Plus, they didn't clean our room on the second day of our three day stay. A bit frustrating.” Oct 15, 2006 by
Kathleen from Kihei, HI
“I arrived at the hotel at 2:30p.m, only to discover the single staff agent was still attempting to close out the rooms from the morning. Apparently 2 1/2 hours was not enough time. She told me to come back later. The hotel is under construction. One of the elevators did not work. There was only one vending machine only coke) on the floor, and it was quite a ways from the room(3 hallways down). No restaurant in the facility, but room-service was offered, very pricey! Bottled water was in the room, but with a price tag of $5.00. The geometric patterns on the carpet, the bedspreads, reminded me of the '70's. Doubtful I would ever stay there again.” Oct 2, 2006 by
Lisa from Circle Pines, MN
“There will be a tremendous amount of potential for this hotel once major inconveniencing renovations are complete. Room service limited. One front desk staff wore rubber gloves which seemed very odd.” Oct 2, 2006 by
Julie from Pueblo, CO
“The hotel stay was very unpleasant for me and my family. It was a very uncomfortable stay. ” Aug 26, 2006 by
Matt from Aspen, CO
“This would be a great hotel for a business traveler. The type of people this hotel will cater to. It is a torn up mess right now (August 2006) The remodeled room was nice...but I was concerned for my young children's safety as we walked through the construction areas. I'm sure this will be a 3 star hotel when it's done...but right now it has a 1 1/2 star feel to it.” Aug 22, 2006 by
Kristin from Cleveland Heights, OH
“The hotel is giving great discounts during renovations, which don't really effect its guests. The hotel is conveniently located right off I-25 and the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated; however, I was disappointed that after telling the staff twice that both bathroom drains were backed up, they never cleared them. For three days, I was showering in a foot of water. Yuk!” Aug 21, 2006 by
Lynn from Bird City, KS
“I was happy with the location which it made it easy access for us to continue our trip the next morning. However, there was nothing about the hotel that was convenient with such severe renovation going on. ” Aug 14, 2006 by
Joe from Show Low, AZ
“Room itself was newly remodeled and ok. Halls and elevator smelled of paint, drywall, new carpet glue and dust. Did not find out until we were trying to check out that the phone did not work. Parking and getting around grounds difficult with the remodel. No restaurant, pool on site, no ice maker on our floor and we were requested to park in a distant lot even though the lot next to our room was not closed. I would avoid this hotel until remodeled.” Aug 14, 2006 by
Eva from Pueblo, CO
“The hotel will be nice, right now there is a lot of construction but, everyone is so nice and helpful that it was not a problem.” Aug 7, 2006 by
Stephanie from Canon City, CO
“If the hotel is under renovations they should be at a better discount and let you know that somehow when you book the hotel stay.” Aug 6, 2006 by
T from Colorado Springs, CO
“Central to downtown attractions, right off I25 but quiet, nice continental breakfast, newly remodeled rooms. Will be nice once inside pool and fitness center remodeled.” Aug 2, 2006 by
Robert from Sheridan, WY
“The in-room coffee pot was burned and crusty. Brought to front desk, maid brought it back to us. Bath tub backed up. Maintenance came twice, unable to clear. Asked for other room. Front desk offered room next door. I asked for another room in case drains were linked. Same clerk later told my wife that I insisted on having the room next door. New room had bath towels only, had to ask for wash cloths. Crib delivered to room was broken. Had to wait an hour to get a replacement. On previous visit to the same hotel one week earlier, the bath had no hot water. Also, the under sink drain pipe was missing, which caused a minor flood and led to a room change. Hotel pool and restaurant both closed. Continental breakfast offered - rolls and cereal, the latter served in pudding cups. This is a good place to stay IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO EXCEPT VISIT AND CALL THE FRONT DESK.” Jul 30, 2006 by
Kari from Montrose, CO
“Our room was very nice and cleaned well everyday of our stay. The outdoor pool is small but we were about the only ones who used it, it was also cold. The hotel is under MAJOR renovation. Its proximity to Arapahoes Rd. was very convenient.” Jul 29, 2006 by
Patrick from Phoenix, AZ
“Will be very nice when remodel is completed.” Jul 27, 2006 by
Colyn from Yuma, AZ
“Great location, new interior, very modern looking. Very friendly staff. The room service charges extra 30% to deliver food to room.” Jul 16, 2006 by
Robert from Gunnison, CO
“Good location, in tech center, poor breakfast buffet. Little variety, no bread for toast, only synthetic blueberry bagels, muffins, Lots of construction going on. Elevators filthy. Overall, a fair experience at best.” Jul 16, 2006 by
Pamela from Grand Junction, CO
“There was some refurbishing going on, but my room was newly done and beautiful, as well as comfortable. The hotel said they where going to be a Doubletree. I would stay here again.” Jul 15, 2006 by
Carey from Raytown, MO
“This hotel is under renovation and the rooms have been re-done but the rest of the hotel is torn up. There was one computer and printer in the "business center". There was no exercise facility. The staff were stressed out and not very friendly. They kept my credit card the first night; I had to have my key re-coded every night I was there (3 times, and even after asking them to make sure to code it correctly the first night), which was a hassle given the location of the room from the front desk and the parking; the lock on the adjoining room door did not work, and the housekeeping staff was knocking on the door at 8:30 am and kept knocking until I finally answered in my towel (after getting out of the bathtub). For the same money I have stayed at 4 star hotels in Denver that were impeccable, and this hotel should not be part of the regular available hotels for the same prices! Please pass this on to the hotel manager!” Jul 15, 2006 by
Eric from Albuquerque, NM
“The hotel was a great value, with nice rooms, free high-speed wireless internet and free breakfast. They are in the middle of major renovations, which is creating a bit of a mess at the moment.” Jul 14, 2006 by
Tammy from Camby, IN
“This hotel is undergoing renovations. The parts that are open are very nice, however, many things are not yet open. When the renovations are complete, this will be a top-notch hotel.” Jul 11, 2006 by
Ralph from La Junta, CO
“The swimming facilities were unavailable because of the remodeling.” Jul 11, 2006 by
Darrell from Steamboat Springs, CO
“While the room was fine and the service good I did not sign up to stay at a hotel that was undergoing a complete remodel. We were directed to the room.. but some sign age would have been helpful. We only found the unmarked elevator with the help of a construction worker. ” Jun 28, 2006 by
Monica from Pueblo, CO
“Hotel was under construction so we heard some construction noise & the housekeeping staff kept knocking on our door. We did not have a do not disturb sign in our room. It will be a nice facility when construction is complete.” Jun 27, 2006 by
Sandy from Douglas, WY
“Just fine.” Jun 26, 2006 by
Tom from Colo Spgs, CO
“Found out the hotel was under remodeling and the pool, restaurant, and spa were all closed. there was no help from them or from. Nobody was sympathetic to our desires for help in this matter.” Jun 25, 2006 by
Ky from Oklahoma City, OK
“I think the hotel will be very nice when it is finished with the renovations. we were unable to get proper bedding for the sleeper sofa upon request” Jun 18, 2006 by
Amanda from Grand Junction, CO
“I had a terrible stay at this hotel. I understand that they are going through a renovation, but there were MANY things the hotel staff could have fixed or helped with during my stay. For one thing, there is no access to the hotel's main lobby other than pulling your luggage up stairs. NO RAMP OR ELEVATOR. There was NO OFFER TO TAKE MY LUGGAGE TO MY CAR OR RETREIVE MY CAR FOR ME. Completely unacceptable. On top of that- there were no pillow cases on the pillows and the telephone did not work. Once I got a maintenance man up to the room to fix it, I ordered a wake up call that never came in the morning. UNACCECPTABLE, especially when I had to catch a plane first thing. Luckily I also set my alarm clock. Overall, my stay was very frustrating, and I would say that my offer of $40 was TOO MUCH for this hotel. It was terrible.” Jun 17, 2006 by
Eric from Salt Lake City, UT
“Once construction is completed hotel will be nicer.” Jun 15, 2006 by
Jesse from Littleton, CO
“Most of the hotel amenities were under renovation (indoor pool, restaurant/bar, several guest floors) and were closed. Room service was available, but limited. Hotel staff was not cooperative/knowledgeable about securing the type of room we wanted until we checked in... it took an extended conversation with the manager to secure a king room instead of a room with two doubles. Several conferences/concerts that utilized the hotel made one night pretty loud. It would be a better stay when the renovation was completed, but I would have like the option to have withdrawn my reservation on account of the renovation... it definitely was not a three-star hotel at the time of our stay.” Jun 15, 2006 by
Jim from Frederick, MD
“Excellent location in Tech Center just off I-25, large room, hotel is undergoing renovation for conversion to Double tree Restaurant, pool and gym all closed, expected to open in July 2006.” Jun 13, 2006 by
Jose from Cos, CO
“I would not recommend this hotel, and am very dissatisfied about my stay. Especially the rating that the hotel received. It was a 3 star but not during the renovations. The hotel staff didn't even apologize for the inconvenience of having to walk around the outside of the hotel to get to my room.”
