• The room was gorgeous and the bed was comfortable.
• I was not impressed with the service and the extra fees.

“I stayed in this hotel to attend an event in the DTC area. I was informed on my initial arrival that I would be charged 10 dollars a day for parking. This started my experience with the hotel bad. I have stayed at a lot of hotels around the world have have never been charged for parking before, let alone 10 dollars a day. There was music on the TV. Never was it said anything about a fee, as I looked carefully when I turned the music station on. I was charged an additional 15 dollars for this service as well. I was promised a newspaper at my door in the morning, and when I asked about it the next day, I was told that this service wasn't available on Saturdays. I didn't ask for this, but was asked on check-in if I would like the paper. There was not enough towels in the bathroom. There is no breakfast available on Saturday or Sunday, although the rest of the week, I am told that there is a continental breakfast available. The view that I got was of the AC units, and the other side of the hotel, about 15 feet off of the balcony. The pool hours are not very good. It is listed in the hotel info that there is no lifeguard on duty, and people must swim in pairs, so why is it closed early. On a positive note, the hotel was beautiful, the room was very nice, short of the view, and the bed was very comfortable.”

• It's a place to lay your head at night.
• No free internet in your room. Pay for parking.

“The idea of paying for a service internet and parking that is free in nearly every hotel in America is rather annoying. When we asked to the shuttle, we were told it wasn't running because of the snow. It's Colorado. Snow comes with the territory. Public transportation requires a pretty lengthy walk over an interstate. Aside from providing a place to sleep this hotel has little to offer, especially for the price. I'll not be staying here again.”

• This hotel was close to the train so we could ride to the baseball game.
• Fee for parking.

“Excellent rooms and service, but had to pay to park. Good location with train within walking distance to take you downtown. Traffic in Denver was terrible.”

• Great beds.
• No wireless Internet in room, and wired Internet was not free.

“Very nice hotel, but they charge you for everything! Parking fee (even for hotel guest), no wireless Internet in room and wired Internet costs $13. I would not stay here again because of all the additional fees.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
• We didn't realize the hotel was not closer to downtown.

“This is a wonderful hotel with the ability to handle large conferences. Our room was excellent and very quiet. It is a distance to downtown Denver - we did not realize it was that far (our mistake). The cafe had really good, reasonably priced food; the night we ate there the service was slow and we thought they should have been able to handle large numbers since it has huge conference rooms.”

• Waitress was extremely friendly and helpful.
• Housekeeping was horrible.

“Food left in fridge from previous occupants, soap scum build-up in shower, had to request sheets to be changed after 5 days,
TV cabinet and bathroom counters were not wiped down (spilled make-up on bathroom counter first day of arrival, (was never cleaned up in 7 day stay), floor not vacuumed (left paper on floor to see if might be vacuumed up)complained of soap scum & food still was not taken care of 2nd day. Had to complain 2nd time.”

• Very nice lobby and public spaces, desk help were helpful & nice.
• Room was small, beds not comfortable, maids were extremely rude.

“Very nice and big hotel, desk help was friendly & helpful. More than one maids were extremely rude and non friendly. Restaurant in the hotel closed too early. Rooms were small, beds uncomfortable (lumpy). Very noisy AC/heater.”

• Very clean. Not very busy or congested. Starbucks in lobby.
• Hotel is 29 years old. Very well maintained. Bathrooms are small and not modern.

“The hotel was very accessible. The property was very clean and neat but the age was obvious as soon as you enter the bathroom - it was clean but not modern. The hotel was only about 20% occupied during the week. There is a $10 per day fee for self-parking and a $12.95 per day fee for internet. Both of these fees should have been included in the room charge. Take this into consideration when comparing room cost because other hotels in the DTC area do not charge for parking or internet.”

• It was in a good area.

“I was amazed that this was an upscale hotel located in an office park setting and they charged $10.00 a night for parking for paying hotel guest. I also forgot my coat in the closet of my room but when I called I was told that no one turned it in. This hotel may be nice but it has no class!”

“Nice (very roomy) rooms with fridge but no microwave. Room service menu the same price as the restaurants - a pleasant surprise. Marriott still insists on charging for internet service in contrast to their competitors.”

• Good room service & food.
• $10/day for self-park.

“The bathroom was very small. Avoid getting a room that is next to I-25, very noisy. Did not receive complimentary newspaper every day. Room service food very good, with excellent waiters. Front desk personnel very professional and helpful. Housekeeping could have been more meticulous - the sheets were not put on correctly, the seams which should have been on the inside were actually on the outside.”

• I liked the size and location of the pool and exercise room.
• The cleaning staff would spend little time in room and never left needed soap, shampoo, toilet paper and tissue refills.

“The hotel itself was nice but was disappointed in cleaning staff. Very nice indoor pool with large exercise room. Charge for parking daily ($10) is totally ridiculous - other hotels in the area are not charging and this hotel should not charge either.”

• Was only a one nite stay, but I couldn't find anything I did not like.

“The staff was very helpful, my check-in wasent until 3:00PM, they allowed me to check in at 12:00PM, the room was very clean, I will stay at this hotel again!”

• Very classy and upscale. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and would recommend it to everyone.
• Although it is a gated area, they charge ten dollars per night for parking.

• Proximity to downtown Denver and Red Rocks.
• I've never seen a Jacuzzi so poorly built, where the jets rose above the level water.

“The stay was as expected for a Marriott business hotel. Room and hotel were clean. Only negative was the Jacuzzi, which was not built properly. Who puts the jets at the brim of the water, so it makes huge splashes on your face.”

“This was a great experience. The pool was great for my son. The food in the atrium restaurant was awful, but the atmosphere was wonderful. They have a charge for internet service in your room. There is free internet in the bar area that you can access from your room if you are close enough. They did not charge to self park my car. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“The amenities within the hotel, coupled with a diversified commerce center within a leisurely stroll's distance, make this hotel an excellent choice for any variety of traveler. The rooms were comfortable and elegantly furnished. There are many views available, my favorites are the mountain-scenery, and interior-plaza patio rooms.”

• Big spacious lobby, nice rooms with comfortable beds. Easy access location.
• You have to pay for parking.

“The lobby is big and nicely furnished with seating areas, TV's that you can spend the whole day there. Rooms have excellent setup with computer desk, small refrigerator and coffee maker. This hotel is family friendly while it is designed for business travelers. The only con I found was they charge for internet access and parking.”

• Shower soap holder was mounted in a perfect place to break your elbow on.

“Interesting hotel layout with a large multistory indoor courtyard with a bar at one end. Made it feel very spacious. Rooms in very good condition and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Very easy access to the interstate and to the mass transit train.”

• Comfortable beds (although too small) and nice lounge area with good food, ample parking.
• Rooms with two beds need to have at least queen sized beds. The beds are quite small for two people.

• We loved the location, the tasteful decor, the comfortable room and having access to an outdoor pool.
• We were very satisfied with our visit.

I especially enjoyed Janet VanArsdale's photography in the hotel. A definite upgrade from mediocre hotel art. We loved our two day stay.”

“I won't stay here again, the room was okay but not cleaned. The coffee from a previous guest was in the pot, old soap left in the shower, who knows what else. Also, the service in the bar/grill was so slow that other guests where joking about it.”

• Luxurious and courteous pool water was warmest that I have seen in last 2 years of hotel stay.
• I can only say positive thing.

“I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The accommodations exquisite the general or commons area were immaculately clean and pleasant to the eye.”

• The location with easy access to I-25 & I-225, so we could get to Aurora quickly, for Drs. appointment.
• Having to pay $10.00 per night to park my car.

“This hotel is almost excellent in all regards except the night parking charge. I also wish this hotel and all other hotels, would keep an area of rooms where pets are not allowed, at all. With allergies and irritations from pets there needs to be a place where pets are not allowed. This being said, I would highly recommend this hotel to other people staying in the Denver area.”

“The Marriott Denver Tech Center is a business person's dream. The establishment had all the amenities needed when you are away from home. restaurant, bar, pool, gym, coffee shop, more conference areas than you would need, even a salon.”
