• Fun lobby. We stayed down there a lot.
• High speed internet in rooms does not mean internet!

“We thought by the hotel description that internet in all rooms was free. We were disappointed that it was not. So we had to go into the lobby to get on the net for free. All else was a great visit. Will go again.”

• The courtesy shuttle and in room amenities as well as the convenient parking and very comfortable beds.
• There were some very noisy guests staying on our floor slamming doors and being loud and as far as I know they weren't told to stop.

“We loved the layout and when we asked what there was to do in the area an employee gave us a map of the area, told us all the attractions, and then gave us a complimentary ride in the shuttle to our destination. The staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean and nice, and the beds were very comfortable. Would have been a perfect stay if our neighbors next to us had not been so loud all night, but that was not the fault of the hotel.

• Very attractive lobby & public areas, nice room.
• Charged $10/day for in-room internet access - even Super8 has free internet access.

“Overall, a very nice hotel for any kind of traveler or conventioneer. The digital access panel, which allowed the computer, MP3 and/or video player to be viewed on the TV was a very nice feature (a cable was even provided in my room, but I would expect those to disappear before long). There is currently major construction being done in the lobby which is sometimes very noisy and inconvenient, but that's understandable.In-room coffee service was not replenished on 3 or 4 days of my 7 day stay, so I had to do without in-room coffee those mornings.My biggest complaint was the $10/day charge for internet access from the hotel rooms (free internet access in the lobby, but that can be very inconvenient). For what this hotel charges for a room, it seems very petty to charge for what Super-8 Motels and other budget chains offer as a complimentary service. Overall a very nice hotel and a good experience. I would stay there again - but bring my own coffee & sugar.”

• The lobby of the hotel was gorgeous. The fitness center was well equipped with complimentary head phones
• There was ethernet access in the rooms, but you had to pay for it. There was free WiFi, but is was only in the lobby area

“Hotel was very attractive both inside and out. The rooms were clean and comfy and I enjoyed being able to go outside on the balcony outside my room.”

• Beautifully appointed rooms; awesome fitness center.
• Restaurant was weird ambiance but excellent meal.

“This hotel was great. I was in Denver for a shopping getaway. The room was awesome, clean, large. The fitness center blew me away - great equipment! Did not try the pools but they looked fine. I ate in the restaurant because I was too tired to go out. I was the only one there - I think this is due to the location. It's sort of just out there in this big open area with no real ambiance. My meal however was excellent and the service was great.”

• The Renaissance was beautiful. The rooms comfortable & clean. Friendly staff.
• The hotel was great. I have nothing bad to say about it.

“The Denver Renaissance hotel was fantastic. The lobby was beautiful. The guest rooms clean, had a flat screen TV & very comfortable beds. Very friendly & helpful staff even though we got in very late. Wish we would have had more time to spend there.”

• The fitness center was well equipped.
• The restaurant was mediocre, with high prices.

• Every staff member that I encountered was exceptionally hospitable and friendly.

“Staff members were very willing to please and were very enthusiastic. Entire hotel was kept at high standard with cleanliness. Rooms were very nice and bed exceptionally comfortable. The free wireless internet was a big plus and incentive to return.”

• A luxurious and contemporary room with beautiful bedding and attractive fixtures. Upscale in the extreme.
• The pool closed at 11. My kingdom for a 24 hour pool.

“While the exterior is pure 80's modern, the interior has been renovated into a contemporary, refined decor. An open concept bar and restaurant give the main lobby a feeling of action that does not audibly transmit to the rooms above. A glass elevator lends to the deluxe feel, carrying you to extraordinarily comfortable guest rooms. Well selected mattresses and feather bedding make for a lovely sleep, tasteful modern furniture and high-quality bathroom fixtures and toiletries add to the experience. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, young staff handled themselves with the utmost degree of professionalism and class.”

“We were given room keys which also operated elevator. This was not made known to us. Later in stay, keys worked in elevator but not in room. Too much hassle.”

• The fitness facility was excellent (treadmills with TV).
• Atrium area and road/train noise was bad.

“The hotel was nice, but hard to get to from road. It was located on a major road with lots of noise and a railroad track far away. It did have a free parking garage with covered access to hotel. The room was large with business traveler in mind (i.e. computer desk with multiple power outlets). The fitness facility was very nice and had a lot of equipment. The treadmills had individual TVs. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety and made a special request egg white omelet. Front desk staff was not very helpful and pleasant, but rest of staff we encountered was pleasant and helpful.”

• There were two chairs in the room, nice for visitors.
• Indoor pool being redone/closed.

“The room was great. I requested two beds as I was traveling with husband and small child and they accommodated. A friend who lives locally came to visit with us and it was great to have two chairs in the room so we didn't have to sit on the beds. My child and I used the outdoor pool which was very nice with towels and nice chairs and even bar service! The indoor pool was closed, being redone. We didn't eat at the hotel as we were only there one night. We used the free airport shuttle, which was very convenient and ran at very favorable times! There is a Hertz rental car office inside the hotel so we rented a car there.”

• The facilities were very nice for a 3-star and I enjoyed the staff I talked with.
• Driving was awkward getting in and out of the hotel and heading the right direction.

“If you have reasons to be in the Stapleton area of Denver or close to I-70 then this is an excellent hotel to stay at. The accommodations were quite nice and the staff very friendly.”

• Loud train. Loud doors slamming. Not enough sound insulation?

“Very nice property that looks like it isn't finished being updated. I've stayed before and hadn't noticed the train. This visit it woke me a few times and was quite loud as if the window was open.”

• The room was very dirty, used q-tips on the floor and hair everywhere.

• A little hard to get out of the way. The traffic flows but not horrible.

“Great hotel, nice new upgrades. They had a business conference there, so we were even upgraded to a suite. Traveling with my 12 year old daughter, that was the icing on the cake! Very nice, comfortable, clean and friendly staff.”

• Quiet, great bed and bedding, wonderful pool, close to shopping.
• Have no negative comments!

“We arrived early in the am (about 8 am) and were able to check in after an all night flight from Alaska. The bed was as comfortable as were the amenities. After sleep, we used the pool (had indoor and outdoor pool) outdoors and just hug out on the nice comfortable lounge chairs.”

• Very beautiful hotel.
• Dirty washcloth in bathroom/dirty coffee cups.

“The hotel was very easy to find and very convenient location to highway. I was disappointed to find a used washcloth left in the shower when I arrived and the next morning when I made coffee, discovered that one was dirty and the other was chipped badly. I left for housekeeping to take and I could tell they just wiped the inside with a towel and put the same ones back. Very disappointing for such a classy looking hotel.”
