• 4 star quality, very clean, staff very friendly & helpful.
• Left an item behind, but was discarded by staff before we could get it back.

“Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, would return again, very upscale with convenient amenities. We mistakenly left an item in the room, called to have it returned to us, but cleaning staff discarded the items before they could be retrieved. Very disappointed that the cleaning person did not retain the item and return to front desk before throwing it away. Hotel manager very helpful, but we now have to make arrangements to replace the item; hotel has offered to pay for item.”

• The valet company was the next to worst staff I have every had to deal with.

• I was impressed at how clean the pool and sauna were.
• I hated that there was no free parking for the hotel guests.

• Friendly staff, eager to please, helpful, personable, gorgeous room, view, super price!
• Free wireless internet would have been a nice perk in a 4-star hotel.

“The Denver Marriott is a great place to stay in Denver - the rooms are nicely-appointed, modern, comfortable beds, quiet - everything you could ask for in an upscale hotel. The only thing that was missing was wireless internet access in the rooms. Though we didn't take advantage of any restaurants, the lounge was comfortable with a good wine selection, and the Starbucks in the lobby was convenient. We would heartily recommend this hotel.”

• The Marriott City Center is clean and contemporary. Bathrobes and bedding were comfy.
• No complimentary internet access, it's an extra $12.95/day.

“The staff at the Marriott City Center was gracious and accommodating. The food could have been better, but the on-site Starbucks was convenient. Internet access could have been complimentary, but the rooms were cozy and the beds were nice. My alarm clock didn't work, but wake-up calls were available. I enjoyed my four-night stay.”

“This hotel is well located to downtown restaurants and shops with easy access to bus shuttles and trams to get you around. It was comfortable and clean. We especially liked the lower level lounge for ending the day with a drink and conversation.”

“This hotel is right in the middle of Downtown Denver. It has a great lounge area and exercise facility with one of the more complete set of weights and equipment that I have seen. However, add another $25 per day for parking. This hotel is good for business travelers but I would not recommend it for a romantic get-a-way.”

• Paying $20 to park in the hotel garage.

“We spent the night here with out of town family for my birthday. The hotel was conveniently located near many wonderful restaurants and the Performing Arts Complex. The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly. Our room was cushy and so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.”

• A Starbucks in the lobby and convenient location.
• The parking fee was high [$20/day] and unexpected.

“This hotel is conveniently located in the midst of Denver's central city shopping, dining and business district. It has an inviting lobby and provides nice rooms with good amenities. There was a roller missing from a table leg, otherwise it was very well executed. I would have liked another drawer in the dresser.”

• I was charged $40.00 for parking no where else to park had two cars with us. Did not say anything because they kind of have you.

• You have to pay for internet access

• There was a pubic hair in the shower and the fire alarm sounded off at 4:30AM.

“I expected better cleanliness. a pubic hair on the shower floor grossed me out and due to dirty vents according to hell employees, that's what made the fire alarm go off at 4:30 in the morning. Never again will I stay there again.”

• The location.
• The ice machine and carts keep us awake. You could hear Everything from the room next door.

“The hotel was wonderful! Very clean and friendly. However the walls are too thin. You could hear the people next door. Staff were very loud pushing he carts down the hallway very early in the morning. I think that the ice machine ran all night. Great time, just remember to bring some ear plugs!”

• Rooms decorated nicely, but bedspread on one bed a little dirtily.

“The hotel itself was nice. The only thing that we didn't like is that we were forced to Valet our car, or find a parking garage elsewhere. The cost for parking was $24.00.”

• Flexibility to let me keep my car in valet parking past checkout time for no additional charge.
• No name on the hotel! It says MCI on top, but says Marriott only down at street level.

“Hard to locate by car, since it never says Marriott any higher than ground level. Convenient to 16th street mall, a fine pedestrian zone full of shops and restaurants. Staff was great about letting my car stay in valet all day for just the 1-night charge.”

“Overall, this hotel was excellent. The only negative thing about the hotel is the size of the room. But if you are not planning on staying in the hotel during the day, you will not even notice. The rest of the elements of the hotel more than make up for the small rooms.”

• I could not believe the atmosphere,cleanliness and overall appeal of this hotel-it was superb!!
• The room was fairly small but I have no complaints.

“What can I say about perfection. I travel a lot because of business and you will have to go far to find a better hotel. The staff was helpful, the rooms very comfortable and a bed that was out of this world. First rate in my opinion.”

• Forced valet parking at twenty-five dollars a day.

“The location is very convenient to the sixteeenth street mall, Coors field, the capitol, The Pepsi center, the arts district, and shopping / clubs at Larimer square. Fine restaurants with an eclectic appeal abound. The room is very comfortable and clean. The only negative was the forced valet parking. They claimed to have self parking, but then they only offer valet parking at twenty-five dollars per day, which does not include tip. I wouldn't have complained if they had not advertised self parking because the valet is very convenient.”

• It was a great experience for us, as we were meeting our daughter and preparing for her wedding.
• The only negative was that our rental car was parked some distance from the hotel which caused a minor wait upon check out.

“The room was great, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. I would consider a future stay if in the area in the future. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• The parking was inconvenient. While valet was excellent, I would have prefered going straight to my car.

“The hotel was great with a restaurant (which we didn't utilize) and a Starbuck's. Parking was slighty inconvenient, because they didn't have on-sight parking and valet was the only option. All-in-all, it was a good experience.”
