• Friendly desk clerk, clean rooms.
• For the money, I did not think it was all that nice, restaurant food not very good.

“The rooms appeared clean but beds too soft, requested a wakeup call but never got it. No refrigerator; I was disappointed in this Marriott.”

• The pool area was great and my kids had lots of fun there.
• Location was of the interstate a ways, better business location than leisure. No breakfast included!

“It was a nice hotel but definitely more for business travelers based on location and amenities. The TV channel options were few, only one kid's channel and not a good one. We would prefer to have queen beds instead of doubles. And not having any option for free breakfast is a big drawback in our opinion. And, to top that off, no refrigerator in your room so bringing in breakfast options was not convenient either.”

• The service at the restaurant was great.
• The only thing I noticed negative was that the dusting job in our room was not thorough. It was good, but not thorough.

“If you are looking for an upscale hotel for a reasonable cost - look no further. The rooms were very clean and up-to-date. The overall service was excellent. I honestly do not have one bad thing to say about our experience at the Fort Collins Marriott. My guess is that you won't either.”

“We have stayed at several Fort Collins hotels while visiting a daughter in college and this is hands-down the best. Fully-renovated lobby and rooms. We were supremely pleased.”

“This hotel far exceeded my expectations! The young girl at the hotel desk when I checked in was super friendly and outgoing. She was there when I checked out in the morning and was a pleasure. The room was wonderful! I just wish I had more time to spend at the hotel to enjoy the huge room and beautiful hotel. Only complaint: no microwave in the room.”

• They remodeled the floors & rooms. New beds, etc.
• Double billed us for room, credit will be issued.

“Hotel floors and rooms have been remodeled. We stayed on the 4th floor. Our room had 2 beds in it that had pillow top mattresses that were very comfortable. It was painted in nice colors such as burnt sienna and yellow. The sinks, countertops and bathroom flooring were brand new. A flat screen TV was also part of the package. We ate at the restaurant downstairs. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly.”

“Hotel was nice, but felt like the person checking us in was making me feel like a second class customer, and we got what ever was in the most remote corner and she would not even consider a king bed.”

• The prices at the restaurant for breakfast were a bit too much.

• Very clean and recently updated.
• Did not have King bed as requested.

“Very nice hotel with most amenities you would need. My one gripe is that we had requested a King bed. Instead we were put in a double room. The beds are not large enough for two adults to sleep comfortably (we are in average to good shape for body size). I would guess the size of the beds in the double rooms are full, not queens.”

• Beautiful new room.
• Work out facilities cramped and not well laid out.

“I had a 3 night stay and when I arrived was told that the hotel was overbooked. But when I finally got a room, the staff was very accommodating. I actually got an executive room that had never been used before. That was good and bad. The good was, everything was clean and pretty. The bad was, they had not tested the television or the fan in the room, both of which required calls to the front desk and service people to fix.”

• I really enjoyed the nice big king bed! It had a huge comfy down comforter.
• The TV channels were confusing & really not much to watch without having to pay $14 for a movie.

• I felt very safe, as I was traveling alone.
• The walls are very thin and I had very loud neighbors.

“As I said the only thing that was a down side was the thin walls. First night was wonderful, second night was terribly with the loud neighbors. I would stay here again. Next time I will call the front desk at 2:30 AM and ask them to do something about the noise.”

• Very central to where I was going. Great beds.
• They were doing construction next to my room at 8 in the morning (a little noisy).

“The lobby is beautiful. The rooms were a little run down but the beds were wonderful. I had a little trouble with signing in. They had me down for one night but had to search for the second night (even though I told them I was planning to stay both nights) Consequently I needed to sign in again the following day.”

• Breakfast price was steep, pool could have been warmer.

• The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
• The restaurant service and food did not match the price of $15 a person. The pool and hot tub temperatures varied quite a bit each day.

“We had an enjoyable stay. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. However the restaurant staff was slow and the breakfast food was not up to par except for the omelets but definitely still not worth $15 a person. The pool was small but fun for our little kids. The temperature of the water varied every day but wasn't too much of a problem. If we go back to fort Collins we would definitely consider staying there again.”

• Excellent staff. They were friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
• No free internet. Ten dollar per day fee.

“Very comfortable rooms. Plenty of restaurants in very close proximity and the drive to CSU and downtown are quick and convenient. It is very good value for the quality of the stay compared to cost of other hotels with much lower grade facilities.”
