• Room cleaning - Staff at desk and head of cleaning.

“This should be a great hotel, but with staff that does not care about the guests, it was just an ok stay.”

• They remodeled the floors & rooms. New beds, etc.
• Double billed us for room, credit will be issued.

“Hotel floors and rooms have been remodeled. We stayed on the 4th floor. Our room had 2 beds in it that had pillow top mattresses that were very comfortable. It was painted in nice colors such as burnt sienna and yellow. The sinks, countertops and bathroom flooring were brand new. A flat screen TV was also part of the package. We ate at the restaurant downstairs. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly.”

• Did not have King bed as requested.

“Very nice hotel with most amenities you would need. My one gripe is that we had requested a King bed. Instead we were put in a double room. The beds are not large enough for two adults to sleep comfortably (we are in average to good shape for body size). I would guess the size of the beds in the double rooms are full, not queens.”

“For a Marriott I thought people would be treated better than that I guess I was not dressed good enough for her standards but after being on the road for 2 days and wanting to relax and get cleaned up it was a very frustrating stay.”

• Beautiful new room.
• Work out facilities cramped and not well laid out.

“I had a 3 night stay and when I arrived was told that the hotel was overbooked. But when I finally got a room, the staff was very accommodating. I actually got an executive room that had never been used before. That was good and bad. The good was, everything was clean and pretty. The bad was, they had not tested the television or the fan in the room, both of which required calls to the front desk and service people to fix.”

• I really enjoyed the nice big king bed! It had a huge comfy down comforter.
• The TV channels were confusing & really not much to watch without having to pay $14 for a movie.

• I felt very safe, as I was traveling alone.
• The walls are very thin and I had very loud neighbors.

“As I said the only thing that was a down side was the thin walls. First night was wonderful, second night was terribly with the loud neighbors. I would stay here again. Next time I will call the front desk at 2:30 AM and ask them to do something about the noise.”

• Very central to where I was going. Great beds.
• They were doing construction next to my room at 8 in the morning (a little noisy).

“The lobby is beautiful. The rooms were a little run down but the beds were wonderful. I had a little trouble with signing in. They had me down for one night but had to search for the second night (even though I told them I was planning to stay both nights) Consequently I needed to sign in again the following day.”

• Breakfast price was steep, pool could have been warmer.

“Great hotel to stay at in fort Collins. The staff was prompt and friendly when serving (except for the restaurant staff). They were having difficulty adjusting the pool and hot tub temperature but we still enjoyed our swim. We do wish the pool was larger.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
• The restaurant service and food did not match the price of $15 a person. The pool and hot tub temperatures varied quite a bit each day.

“We had an enjoyable stay. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. However the restaurant staff was slow and the breakfast food was not up to par except for the omelets but definitely still not worth $15 a person. The pool was small but fun for our little kids. The temperature of the water varied every day but wasn't too much of a problem. If we go back to fort Collins we would definitely consider staying there again.”

• No free internet. Ten dollar per day fee.

“Very comfortable rooms. Plenty of restaurants in very close proximity and the drive to CSU and downtown are quick and convenient. It is very good value for the quality of the stay compared to cost of other hotels with much lower grade facilities.”

“I really enjoyed our stay at this Marriott There are beautiful shade trees all around and views of the majestic Rocky mountains. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and the lobby is quite modern and beautiful. I would definitely return to this property, especially when the room renovations are complete. I saw the plans and they are gorgeous!”

• There wasn't anything I did not like about this hotel.

• They made up a double batch of sapodillas with honey for take-out.
• Long, long walks to rooms.

“It's a beautiful facility with spacious rooms featuring down comforters, luxury bedding and towels. Each room is set up for Internet access and there is a workout room, an indoor-outdoor pool, business center, and lovely restaurant and lobby.”

• Staff was always willing to assist with any problem or answer any questioning with a smile.
• Problems with room key not working correctly.

• The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever had.
• There was nothing we did not like.

“We asked for a king-non smoking room. "No problem," the receptionist said. She gave us a handicapped room on the top floor. Breakfast and orders were served at times during the day. We could check our E-mail easily and they even had Fox news!”

• The room we had was large. Plenty of room to spread out.
• The carpet was very dirty. The bathroom floor was also really dirty. Maids need to be more thorough with cleaning.

“Nice area in FT. Attractive lobby and restaurants. Pretty good except it could be much cleaner. One bed had stained sheets and the bathroom was not very clean. All staff was very friendly and helpful.”
