• Staff was very friendly.
• Rooms were a little under decorated.

“I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very clean and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback would be that it is located next to the interstate which is ideal for business but not so much for leisure vacations.”

• Front desk extremely helpful.
• They open it up to the inn next door and they come use hot-tub.

• Nice pool/hot tub area-very clean-friendly staff.
• Room face freeway and was a little noisy.

“We have stayed at several other hotels in this area and this was by far the more pleasant of them. The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean. I would have liked to have a hair dryer in the room though. I will stay here again, but would ask for a room not facing the freeway, although it was not that noisy.”

• I liked the fact that we were able to stay in a ground-level room.
• Frontage road/location was not convenient.

“We enjoyed our stay very much, even with the frontage road/access not being very good. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was very nice.”

• There was a computer available, and a pool.
• The employees huddled often in personal conversation.

“I loved the look and feel of the hotel. There was fresh fruit, coffee and cookies always available, with the Internet and computer next to a beautiful fireplace and living room atmosphere. The room was comfortable and quiet, the bathroom clean and attractive.”

• I can't give anything I didn't like because there wasn't anything.

“This is a good hotel in a fairly quiet part of Denver. I would put family, business associates and friends up at the Courtyard Marriott in Lakewood.”

“This is a comfortable hotel in Lakewood on the Southside of Denver. There are several restaurants and good shopping within a reasonable driving distance.”

• Could have had better lighting in the sink/makeup area.

• Very noisy. Located off of freeway. Hard to sleep.

“We got in really late and the person at the front desk had a very difficult time giving us directions to get there. It took us approximately 45 minutes to find it once we exited the freeway. The room was quite noisy and difficult to sleep, due to the freeway running past. Otherwise it was very pleasant. Clean with a nice staff.”

• Rooftop bar and location.
• Room very small.

“The Hudson Hotel is a very nice hotel in a great location. The subway was only a block away and there were restaurants and stores across the street. We loved the neighborhood and a lot of the places we were visiting were less than 15 blocks away. The rooms are extremely small (we couldn't pass each other in the room without hugging) but we didn't spend a lot of time in our room so it was ok.”

• The bed was turned back when we got in - wonderful touch!
• Bathroom door had a hard time clearing the toilet area.

• The staff was very friendly; there was a gift basket in room upon arrival.
• Inside my room was a fire alarm flashing light which went off at 0600 hrs and flashed inside room for over 1 hour, not all rooms have this alarm strobe.

• Clean and very friendly staff, relatively close to friends we were visiting.
• Would have liked a complimentary continental breakfast.

“We found this hotel to be just right for our needs during this trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the cookies and beverages in the lobby. The hotel room was clean and attractive. The shower was good. The linens were comfy. The air conditioner was easy to adjust and maintained a good temperature.”

• Had a great time around the pool with kids and grandkids. Hotel nicely accommodates families.
• Had to pay for breakfast. Not complimentary like other places we have stayed.

“Public areas and our room were nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Enjoyed the pool and gym. Staff courteous. Nice full breakfast buffet, but we had to pay $8.95 per person verses free breakfast that we are used to with other nice hotels.”

• The awesome breakfast spread!
• There was no air vent in the bathroom to disperse the accumulated shower fog.

“In fact, we'd like to go again, but next time, we'll allow more minutes for ravishing the breakfast blowout. Yum! It was a nice treat to be able to check in early (12:30) and check out late (12:30). We felt like we really had a chance to relax and enjoy our surroundings. Everything: the bedding, towels, furniture & amenities. Was clean and welcoming.”

• The location was great and it was not hard to locate off the highway.
• The hot tub was not working.

• The location was great for shopping and entertainment. The staff was helpful in providing directions to various locations.
• The first night the whirlpool was Luke warm. The fitness room was too hot (air conditioner inoperable). Beds were hard. Trash less than one bed.

“The staff was extremely helpful in looking up times and location of a theater. I have stayed at many courtyards by Marriott and I regret to say that this one did not measure up. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The fitness room did not have functional air conditioning making a workout nearly impossible. The whirlpool was not hot on the first night but was operating well the next night. It was a bit disappointing when compared to the many other courtyards I have had the pleasure of staying. The friendly staff was this hotel's saving grace.”

• The beds are not very comfortable. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and both beds were very hard and lumpy.

“The hotel is overall a good place to stay. Locating it and driving to it is difficult. Location has many streets that are hard to find. Signs posted after you pass a street and for this Hotel it seemed like you could only get to it one way no matter which way you came from.”
