• Great big rooms with sofa and kitchen.

“Residence Inn Louisville is very nice location close to DT Boulder. Very easy highway access and nice location with plenty of restaurants. Staff was great, very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms were large, nice clean and included sleeper sofa and full kitchen. Nice breakfast in the morning.”

• The size and amenities in the rooms were excellent. Breakfast was quite good.
• Once people moved into the rooms above us, noise became somewhat of an issue.

“Wonderful accommodations with an ample breakfast. More suited to the adult traveler than families. Very close to many restaurants and activities. Would gladly stay there again.”

“The hotel was very clean and recently updated. Within minutes of us getting settled someone called to make sure the room met our expectations. We were close to shopping and wildlife attractions. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods offered the choices were changed daily.”

• The location was good (between boulder and Denver) and the room was large and clean. Good value.
• Bed was hard and uncomfortable. The dressing/vanity area was open to bed room and woke partner.

“Great hotel for the money. Free breakfast (6am to 10am) good location for boulder/Denver area (about 15 minutes south of boulder and 25 minutes north of Denver). The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Would stay here again, great value.”

“A terrific value for the money - spacious, clean, comfortable suite for which you would have to pay far more at other hotels. Deluxe free hot and cold breakfast and complimentary newspaper. Staff was very helpful. Only a 10 - 15 minutes drive from Boulder.”

• Room was spacious, clean and nice. The kitchen was equipped with everything and there was also free internet connection in the room.
• It was full of families with children who made it impossible for us to use the swimming pool. The worst, the breakfast (but it's not a big deal).

“It's a nice hotel close to Boulder, only 5-10 minutes driving, with a good quality-price ratio. Very convenient for families with kids, there is a bbq, a swimming pool and some space to play basketball or other sports. Rooms are spacious, nice and clean. Having a kitchen is also very convenient.”

• Management needs to focus on some fundamentals of maintenance.

“The place was clean and the staff was responsive, and the breakfast buffet food was good, although the coffee dispensing machine produced a simply horrible product. Unfortunately, the room seemed fraught with little nagging issues, none of which I had time to deal with during my short stay (2 nights): a sticky kitchen area floor, a rattling refrigerator that I had to level, a really loud bathroom vent fan, an even louder HVAC unit, a TV set with really bad contrast and color problems (no apparent means of adjusting them). The worst incident was that a pile of written materials I left on the desk (with a note saying "to keep" placed prominently on top!) was disposed of by housekeeping and could not be located that evening, even by a dumpster diving session with the duty clerk. Basic communication and "what-if" training are needed for staff. A final thing that I found surprising was the lack of attention to the snowfall. I arrived the afternoon after an overnight storm and had to navigate the parking lot and walks mostly covered with snow and ice. Someone had made a meandering preliminary pass one shovel wide and then never returned, so at this point (late afternoon) wind had moved much of it back over the single-track and ice had begun to form. I was more surprised that during the ensuing two days nothing more was done and people were still pulling luggage over snow and ice. Not fatal flaws, but surprising.”

• Very clean; friendly staff.
• On day 3, hotel was full and ran out of hot water!

“Overall, a very good experience. A small issue where I expect better from Marriott: I never really think twice about hotel linens, but the towels were so worn and scratchy they deserve mention. Also, on day 3 I woke up to a cold shower. I was told that whenever the hotel sells out, there's not enough hot water to go around.”
