• Conveniently located to Pearl St Mall and Hwy 36 back to Denver.
• The rooms were not very light.

“The staff was friendly and gave us good recommendations on things to see. The room was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The continental breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff continually cleaned the buffet area---well presented buffet breakfast.”

• Nice for the price. It was clean and a bit nicer than I expected.
• Located off a frontage road so not especially scenic.

“We were pleased with the hotel. It wasn't posh but it was certainly comfortable and nicer than we expected for a Best Western even. I think our views of Best Western hotels have gone up a notch.”

• It was quiet sleeping, comfortable bed. The parking lot was plowed quickly the morning we had 10 inches of snow.
• The side door locks into the building were difficult to manage. Room key access would be nicer if possible.

• They did not have a free shuttle from Denver airport.

“A very nice hotel with a great location. This was my first time in Boulder; we came in on a ski package. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was great. I could definitely see coming back to Boulder.”

• Very large hot tub!
• The layout made it very inconvenient to access everything.

“This best western would be great for business travelers, but does not meet my expectations for family travelers. The layout was inconvenient to access everything. The coded doors were very touchy and took at least 3 tries each time in order to enter the building.”

• The computer in the business centre had outdated virus protection.

“Very ordinary, an ok but not great location, no fitness center, but clean and well maintained. Ok for a night's stay but nothing special. Not a 3 star place.”

• There was a lot of noise coming from outside and other rooms.

“This hotel seemed to be a good choice for traveling students and skiers. It was too loud for people who wanted to go to bed before 1 am. Otherwise, I found the hotel to be comfortable and the staff was friendly.”

• The room was clean, well maintained. The hotel was easily accessible and central to most activities.
• The walls were paper thin.

“The Best Western Boulder offered clean and convenient accommodations. The room was neat and well maintained and the balcony was a plus. The location was convenient to both the University and to outdoor activities. The only problem I encountered was with a noisy neighbor. The staff was courteous and I'm sure would have moved me but I had already settled in to my room. ”

“I am writing this from the hotel - while facing the Rockies! I stayed here three nights, and checked out today - but a snow storm prevented that my actual departure. The front desk was extremely helpful and even gave me an upgraded room for the same price as the previous nights! You can tell they want you to be happy! Both rooms are very clean, and believe me, I am picky. The only possible "downside" was that in the previous room, I could hear the shower in the room above - but that wasn't too bothersome. Coffee and tea in both rooms; I haven't had a chance to sample the breakfast. Full value for the money, and more. Highly recommended!”

• Nothing. The entire stay was a fiasco.
• Hotel did not work with me to get 2 double beds (room available).

“I hated the experience. Room had one king size bed, but I needed 2 double beds for my family. Rooms with double were vacant (lots of rooms available), yet hotel management would not accommodate my family with double bed unless I paid more money. Hotel location was in seedy area near CU campus. Dark parking areas outside. Bathroom smelled. I could go on & on. Very disappointed with this hotel. Horrible experience that ruined our weekend vacation.”

• The mountain view was ok.
• Moldy, the towels were too thin, bed uncomfortable.

“Do NOT stay here. This place is dirty and old. There was mold around the shower head. The bath towels were as thin as toilet paper and felt dirty. The bed was not that comfortable. View was ok. The hallways smelled of stale smoke. The carpet felt dirty. I left the hotel after 1 day and went to stay at the Holiday Inn Express for only $10 more dollars! The Holiday Inn Express was a palace compared to the Best Western. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else. They really need to revamp the place. At least get better towels and sheets! ”

• Golf course was not within walking distance.

“What a nice hotel. I can count on one hand the number of times I have been treated with such respect from a hotel front desk staff. The room was very comfortable and very clean. I will definitely be back.”

• Fantastic staff, very helpful.
• A little more at the continental breakfast is all I can think of.

• Check in clerk was very helpful in finding a room that made it easy to unload our stuff.
• It is not located in a place easy to find or close to the desirable areas of Boulder.

• The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful, more than most. The room was very nice really closer to a 3 star for how nice it was.
• There was nothing extraordinary about the Continental breakfast, but it was good.

“We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. the room was nicely done, very comfortable and attractive, the bathroom was clean, pleasant with nice amenities and the staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. I'd stay there again in a minute.”

• Room was spacious.
• Feels old and in need of renovation, lots of concrete around it. Rooms are dated and feel cheap for a 2.5 star.

“It worked fine but I won't go back there because it feels dated and old - in need of renovation. It was not easy finding the frontage road at night.”

• Rooms are kind of 70s with small bathrooms.

• No free shuttle from the airport

“This is a great hotel. I am so glad I found it. Right across the street from the University. The rooms look like they are brand new. Great free breakfast. Super friendly staff. I just love the city of Boulder. Whenever I go back, I plan on staying here.”
