• Great location, wonderful bed, perfectly clean & new carpet and furnishings.
• The desk did not offer me the free alternative parking available behind the hotel.

“This is an outstanding hotel in central boulder. It is more of a boutique hotel than a standard hotel. The beds were fit for a queen. Having a desk, sofa and over-stuffed chair in the room made it more of a suite than a room. I had friends over to watch a game and we were comfortable. Great price for a wonderful hotel!”

• The hotel bar staff was very helpful- they helped me charge my ipod.
• The TV took several (5-10) minutes to show a picture after being turned on.

• Great location for what we wanted.
• Everything looked a little old and could have been refreshed (paint/carpets).

• The staff was very competent, diverse, and friendly.
• It did not match the criteria of the other 3 star hotels.

“A pleasant and clean hotel; perfect for the business traveler, but not ideal for a romantic getaway. Within walking distance from popular Promenade and restaurants. 2.5 stars.”

• The hotel let us check in 4 hours before the regular check in time. We were very impressed!
• The only thing we didn't like was that the bathtub/shower was not fully cleaned. There was hair in the shower.

“I have never had such great and friendly service at a hotel. They let us check in early (we didn't think we could) with no problems at all. Room service was excellent! The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home :-) I would recommend this hotel to all my friends! I am definitely staying there again.”

• No vanity in the bathroom. There was no place to put your toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.

• The spa was next door and wonderful.
• There was a little construction in the side parking lot that was ugly.

“I loved this hotel. We had a view of the Flatirons which were beautiful. I headed over to the spa and had the best experience. The 50 minute massage was heaven! My spouse and I had room service for dinner and it was pretty good. I would recommend this hotel to others and will for sure stay there again.”

• Tip top hotel, everything you'd want was pretty much there.
• Weak sound proofing at the door between rooms made it seem like the person next door was in the room.

“This is an excellent hotel in a great location for the Boulder Area. It was great for romantics and business travelers, in part, thanks to the excellent staff. Great bedding too!”

• The internet worked well. The staff was very nice.
• The facility is getting a bit rundown.

“Carpets worn. Paint peeling. Mirror in the bathroom was loose. The remote to the TV was falling apart. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Two of the exercise room machines did not work well. There was a fire alarm a 3:30 am when one of the room air conditioners burned out.”

• Wouldn't want to pay the full rate to stay here- rather average place.

“We had weird, empty rooms with Murphy beds. The lobby wasn't very attractive and the staff was less than friendly at times. The location is a 15 minute walk to the Pearl Street Mall. It was fine.”

“To me this is not 3 stars. It's not as if you are staying at the sty. Julian in the real downtown. This could work for business travel but for much less money I¿ll stay in Louisville and commute. Not having even a pot of coffee in the lobby in the am is inexcusable.”

“This is a first class hotel at a nice location in the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby and only five minutes from the pearl street mall area. Free underground parking was a big plus.”

• Justin the Bell Hop was extremely helpful, courteous, & friendly.
• My reservation was for a corner room-with a view of the Mt. range-did not get it.

“As stated above, my reservation was for a corner room with a view of the mts. we had a view of the parking lot and not a corner room. The bell hop/valet was very nice, offered to recommend us restaurants, showed us a map and gave us an overview of the town and the college. We got back to the concierge level at 9:45 hoping to have dessert with our girls but they were already cleaned up and vacuuming. We were told at check-in it was open until 10.”

• The rooms are large and the king size bed with the pillow top was incredible.
• Too many, very loud, hotel guest walking the halls late at night. I am assuming getting ready to go back to college.

“The hotel was very nice and comfortable. We loved going downtown and walking the shops. The distance from the hotel to the main street between 12th and 15th streets was too far to walk to so we parked in one of the many parking garages. We enjoyed our stay and will do it again.”

“This 3 star hotel is 5 stories with concierge located on the 4th and 5th levels. JW's steakhouse is the hotel restaurant and Star bucks is connected to the hotel bar. In addition a spa is connected and spa menu is provided in your room. We had a beautiful view, and it would be difficult not to have a good view the way the hotel is positioned in relation to the "Flat Iron Mountains". The rooms are well appointed, and the beds are the best I have found yet. Room service is good and buffalo burgers are on the menu. The bath amenities are from the Bath and Body Works line of course. Marriott is generally a good choice. Excellent quality.”

• The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect.
• A room for that price should have had a small refrigerator in it.

We would have liked for the hotel to have a continental breakfast included and the room should have had a small refrigerator in it at this price. Many cheaper hotels do!”
