“I have to say, this is the 2nd worse hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at some very budget-style hotels! The service is extremely poor- they were frustrated, the room was actually quite disgusting.” Jun 16, 2008 by
David K. from Colorado Springs, CO
“Old property with old furnishings, however pretty well kept up. If you need a luxurious bathroom this is not the place. Large room, quiet property, friendly and helpful staff. Great to be able to sit outside in the evening and visit. Poor quality, uninterested dancers who give you the minimum amount they would like for a donation. The hotel ought to drop this event.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Patricia from Manitou Springs, CO
“I'm a Best Western fan, but this was by far the dirtiest, smelliest hotel I've ever stayed in. Every surface was stained, had burn holes, the bathroom floor was sticky, the carpet was filthy, the tub had a urine stained rubber mat. As soon as I checked in, I was back at the front desk asking for a towel, batteries for the remote control. There was no Wi-Fi working at all. The stairs to my room were thick with ice. This motel needs a complete remodel. I couldn't sleep, and left at dawn.” Dec 3, 2007 by

“This is a very old hotel, with lots of history and character. Considering its age, it has been updated and well-maintained. Great location on the main drag. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, offering to upgrade our room without our even asking.” Jun 3, 2007 by

“Access to upstairs rooms very inconvenient.” May 19, 2006 by
Ruth from Daytona Beach, FL
“Overall it was quite nice - not luxurious - basic but could be updated a bit. I think we were there in between seasons truth.” Apr 6, 2006 by
Carol from Colorado Springs, CO
“We thought the Kachina Best Western, as one of the older chain hotels, was well maintained and charming. The pool was impressive, there are Kachina dancers on Saturday night during the summer, many of the staff members had worked there over ten years, and the art display was an added delight.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
