• It was clean and fairly attractive.
• Doors closing in the hallway at night were a little loud.

“The Courtyard by Marriott in Santa Fe is a decent, clean, comfortable place to stay. It isn't the Ritz, but it's much better than, say, a Days Inn. It's comparable to other hotels in the chain but the décor and furnishings have more of a southwestern vibe. The pool and hot tub area are clean and attractive and the fitness center is large and has plenty of equipment. Many of the downstairs rooms open onto well-kept, attractive courtyards.”

• Room was big, dirty, not well furnished.

“Nasty. Layout of this place is a nightmare. You are given a map of the facility at check-in. Similar to a childhood treasure map, it's not very accurate. You'll meet other guests wandering like Lost Dutchmen.”

• Fireplace, courtyard, free breakfast, front counter employees, beds and pillows.

“The hotel was very convenient to the downtown, we had a good dinner & breakfast in the restaurant, the lobby had a lovely fireplace and seating area, the beds & pillows were great, the front counter people were very nice/helpful.”

• We love the open courtyard, though in Santa Fe, it's chilly at night after the pool!

• Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Downtown shuttle was nice.
• Refrigerator in room didn't work well, shower handle was loose and needed fixing.

“Rooms were very pleasant and public areas nicely decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and very nice. The shuttle to take you to the old downtown area was a great perk.”

• Beautiful courtyards. Quiet. Clean. Well-kept.
• It was quite a drive from downtown Santa Fe.

• Clean and comfortable room, in room Coffey as well as free coffee in the lobby each morning.

“Nice hotel, short drive to the Santa Fe Plaza area, the money saved on the hotel by not staying in the Plaza area far off sets the short drive to the Plaza,
plus the hotel has a
free shuttle to the Plaza area.”

• Liked everything about it. Especially the friendliness and willingness to accommodate by the staff. It was a beautiful room.
• Bathroom door didn't shut easily, door was not flush with frame.

“No problem getting a non smoking, two bed room, on top floor. The outdoor hallways inside the building were quite beautiful as were the wooden doors to each room, in the style of old Mexico.”

• A great room and a great internal courtyard. Access only through lobby or keyed doors.

“This hotel is a wonderful place to stay - friendly, helpful staff and a great location. The inner courtyard was very nice and you would not guess you were in the middle of the city. The fact that it is a smoke free facility was an added bonus.”

• Location.
• Carpet stained, no breakfast, outside door entry.

“This is not a 3-star hotel. The room carpet was badly stained and needed replacing. No complimentary breakfast. Doors open to outdoors with tile hallways so every time a new guest checked in/out you would hear the clack of their bags being rolled down the hallway at all hours of the day or night.”

• I like the layout and openess of the hotel. Very Southwestern.
• Only one computer in lobby for guest so there was always a waiting line.

“This is a lovely southwestern decor hotel. Perfect for the Santa Fe visitor. Clean, quiet, friendly, comfortable. I've stayed here twice and love it. When the city finishes it's road construction it will make for a perfect stay.”

• Located at a very convenient part of the city, clean and comfortable.
• Night lobby service not polite at all and hours of restaurant and bar service.

“Everything with the hotel was great except for the night shift service lobby people were not very friendly, asked where we could get something to drink and rudely answered they were closed asked them where we could find coffee and she said they ran out of coffee they had a water jar with water and cups tried getting water and it was empty and at no time she offered to get us water very unprofessional. Other then that we really liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay.”

• Pool/spa was of inadequate size for number of guests.

“This motel was ok. I would not rate it at 3 stars. Exterior and grounds were done on the cheap (e.g., no landscaping or air conditioning grates on back/sides of bldg). We had a problem with pill bugs in the bathroom. Don't know where they were coming from. The pool was small and there was only a 6 person spa for a 300+ guest hotel. The water in the pool didn't seem clean (chemicals were off--I know these things.) Positives: Good food, great staff and very comfy beds. The place was packed, but rooms were quiet.”

• The room was very nice and comfortable. Loved the decor of the entire hotel.
• No breakfast. Had to dine in the restaurant for breakfast. Tiles in bathroom were loose.

“I was very impressed with the look and feel of the hotel. Loved the southwestern theme throughout, especially the wooden doors. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others. Would have liked to have breakfast provided, but that was the only drawback.”

• Very clean and great luxury linens.
• You had to drive to the Plaza and Canyon Road.

“This is a great hotel - very clean with luxury linens. Pool was small but clean and well maintained. It's 4 miles to Canyon Road and the Plaza so you need to drive, which is a bummer. There's a Starbucks two blocks down from the hotel and lots of nice chain shops right across the street.”

• The room had some minor blemishes on it & would have been nice have had 1 free breakfast.

• There was no WiFi and no complementary breakfast.

“This is an expensive hotel, with nice rooms and a very nice staff. However, it is an expensive hotel and they expect you to pay for everything from local telephone calls to breakfast. Do not confuse this with Marriott's Residence Inn. There is no WiFi in the rooms, but they are in the process of correcting that. They have an indoor pool and fitness center.”

• The decor was beautiful-really fitting to the area.
• The elevator was marked out of order-but it was right where housekeeping was hauling laundry from the laundry room to the upstairs.

“We were pleased with the location, decor, and service of this hotel. The pool and spa were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but the room was lovely.”
