• Comfortable bedding.

“This hotel is a three star and is very nice. However, it had no more amenities than any of the two stars I have stayed in. Absolutely no reason to request it. In some areas, (breakfast, etc.) it actually offered much less.”

• Very clean and comfortable.
• The first room I received.

“Upon arrival, I was given a room on the front side of the hotel. It was right on Cerrillos road which can be noisy. I asked for a room in a different location and was told that no kings were available. After reporting that the remote did not work, the refrigerator would not cool, and the air conditioner was blowing black ash-like material, a different desk clerk offered a king room in a different part of the hotel. I was also told that there was no rush to move to the new room because they were going to close the first room off because it had so many issues. I believe that the first clerk knew the condition of the first room when she put us there. The second room was great!”

• The lobby was attractive and our room was clean and comfortable.
• The pool and hot tub were down during the day we were there, and the grounds looked unkempt outside.

“I thought overall the hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable but we were very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not serviced during off hours. We were unable to use it. A breakfast would have been very nice. I would stay again.”

• The shower was great plenty of water pressure
• The beds were to small and were hard to sleep in tossed and turned all night could not get comfortable

“The motel resturant was pricey for all of their food, no contental breakfast offered,the elevator doors do not open unless you push the button to open the door otherwise it will take you back up to the top floor the hotel staff was friendly”

• The lobby and staff were nice.
• The room was non-smoking room but had a definite smoke smell, could hardly breath at night.

“It was just ok. Room smelled of stale cigarettes, not a pleasant experience. The staff was very nice and helpful.”

• They have a pool, and location was ok.
• There is always construction and work going on at the hotel.

“We have stayed here 4 times and each time they are renovating the hotel the pool is closed or the elevator doesn't work and it is noisy.”

• My husband and I very liked the separate coffee bar.
• The air conditioner was too close to the bed.

• The lobby was attractive, beds comfortable, staff helpful, good to have a swimming pool in that heat.
• Construction made getting in & out of there hard. Food was awful. Shower & air conditioner fans loud.

“Nice for families with lots of kids, and when road work is done, location could be good. Clean rooms, nice staff. Has a dated feel to it and the air conditioner and shower fans worked but were very noisy.”

• Location. Also loved the overhead beams in the room.
• They gave our room away and we had to stay next door at the Red Roof our first night.

“I like the location of this hotel. The hotel is decorated nicely and has a nice ambience about it. Loved the overhead beams in our room and the fact it had a refrigerator and a microwave.”

• Large room with fridge; fresh decor, comfy bed, nice lobby/lounge area with local resources, pool, convenient location.
• The sheets could have a higher thread count.

“Pleasant lobby with lots of comfy seating areas for hanging out and dramatic ceiling height. Big fireplace and view of the pool area, so all seasons are covered. The room we had was spacious, included a fridge, iron and ironing board. No noise was noticeable. The bed was king size and comfortable, with a pillow menu available. The location is not within walking distance of the main plaza area of Santa Fe, but right across from a movie complex and very close to various shopping, - from malls to funky boutiques and several restaurants. All in all, we were very pleased. In fact, the only thing I can whine about is the softness of the bed sheets: a thread count higher than 200 or so would be preferable. This was our second stay at this hotel, and we would welcome another.”

• WiFi was down for over 24 hours.

“Friendly responsive staff. Clean room and common areas. Sliding door to balcony which provided excellent ventilation, but balcony had cigarette package and old water bottle that had not been cleaned up during our six day stay. Hotel is located 3 to 4 miles from Downtown Plaza.”

“Inconvenient and limited parking. No luggage carts available to ease unloading/loading (attendant volunteered to go find one and never returned). Swimming pool was not open when my schedule would permit use. Security personnel were unprofessional (sat playing cards in the lobby). Non-slip mats in shower were moldy. Top-sheets on bed were not clean.”

• In the middle of remodeling and could not find the location of continental breakfast. Walk outside building to get to front desk.

“Was ok but would had stayed at another hotel if was aware of remodeling. Elevator was not always working. Entrance had carpet removed but had nails sticking up on stairs.”

“We had a great night in the hotel despite rude service from the staff and hotel bartender. After a long drive (Phoenix-Santa Fe) we wanted to relax and unwind in the hotel bar and have a few cocktails with dinner. It was impossible to have worst service as far as getting a drink and terrible food. The hotel room however was perfect for our needs and very comfortable.”

• Nice facilities, clean, and fairly friendly folks at the desk.
• The sound proofing on the general building is horrible.

“We had a fairly nice stay, until about 6 a.m. when we heard people above us (or next to us) meandering about their room. There is insufficient sound proofing in either the walls, ceilings/floors, or both. Other than that, the place was quite nice. A nice plus, the hotel is within stumbling distance to Blue Corn Cafe, a nice micro-brewery with some decent beers on tap.”

• This hotel was clean, convenient, and comfortable.
• On my last night, teens were making tons of noise in hallways for 3 hours. Nothing was done about it.

“This hotel was very economical and a great find. There were two problems I had. First, the hotel food was horrible. Don't order it. Eat out as much as possible. The second was that on my last night, teens were running up and down the hall, laughing and shouting for 3 hours. I called the front desk twice with no resolution. When I complained during my checkout, they removed everything from my bill (one meal and one movie) for the trouble. They were extremely accommodating. It was just very frustrating as it was happening because I had a lot of work to do. Other than this, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was very clean and convenient.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The room had a patio door that gave access to the parking lot which was very convenient.
• The pool was too small and misrepresented as an indoor pool. The beds were too small even though the room was big enough for bigger beds.

“The location is convenient. There is a mall behind the hotel and many restaurants up the road. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. My kids had fun in the too small "indoor" pool. Overall we were please with the stay and plan to stay there again!”

• Our room was above the dance floor and there was a band we were very upset. The manager should have informed us when we confirmed.

“We should have been moved to a different room. We went to Santa Fe for our anniversary and were put up in a room above the dance floor the band went on until 11:30. I am very disappointed about our stay we should have been told before hand or moved across the hotel!”
