• Huge comfortable room and comfortable beds.
• Restaurant service slow and not overly friendly and prices were high.

• It was everything I was expecting. Pretty, clean, and convenient to everything.
• It did not have air-conditioning and it was hot.

• Very close to downtown.
• For being in the mountains, our hotel room looked out to a cement wall.

“There looked to be a bellman, but didn't get up to ask if we needed help. Somehow our reservation wasn't in their system, and they luckily had one room left. We voiced a concern about looking out our window and looking literally at a cement wall, we were in the mountains with absolutely no view what so ever, that was very disappointing. The bathroom needed to be remolded badly. The hot tub/pool/massage area wasn't very upscale either; it needs to be updated as well.”

• Great access to Breckenridge downtown and to mountain.
• No air conditioning and had to take 3 separate elevators to reach room from parking.

“Nice enough but would consider it moderate compared to the other lodges and resorts in Breckenridge. Needs some room upgrades (like air conditioning) and general repair (replaced worn carpets in hallways) to be considered.”

• Room was very large.
• Concierge was not helpful.

“This hotel was a great deal the room was very large. It needed little updating in the bathroom but over the room was great. The hot water went out fast in the shower and the concierge was not help full. Other than that we had a great time!”

• Location, comfy bed.
• Old facility, poor elevator, very small room, hot!

“We had a very small room, tiny bathroom, low ceilings. Room very hot (no air conditioner), no view, only 1 slow elevator on each end that served housekeeping and guests. Room did have comfortable bed (redecorated in the spring) and staff was courteous. Perhaps it was just the room we were in (I looked in another room being made up down the hall by housekeeping and it was much roomier), but I would definitely not stay at this location again because property felt too dated and elevators totally inadequate. Two star, not three.”

• Large rooms. Computer Friendly. Clean. Friendly.
• Nowhere to purchase coffee or a snack.

• Being close to both slopes and town was convenient.
• Elevators were strange. You have to take 2 separate elevators to get to upper floors.

“The ski slopes were across the street and parking lot, but were still convenient. Being a couple blocks from the town was nice (with the option of taking a free shuttle from right outside the hotel). The room was clean, but unfortunately a bit dark (especially with the curtain drawn - there was only a blackout curtain and now sheer). Having a refrigerator in the room was nice as well as the extra sink. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free ski check and in building parking was a plus!”

• Very accommodating staff.
• The hotel vehicles were parked in the handicap spots in the garage. That always bothers me.

“There is not a laundry facility. Other than that, I enjoyed the hotel and staff. The breakfast buffet is a little pricier than what I wanted to pay. However, the food was very good.”

• On-site ski rental and steps from the Peak 9 lift.
• Staff not customer-friendly. Room service slow & over-priced.

“An average hotel with average rooms, average (at best) staff, but in a good location. Two blocks from the heart of quaint Breckenridge shopping & dining. Free shuttle service to/from shops & restaurants was very timely & useful when cold. Also on-site ski rental only steps from the chair lift was wonderfully convenient!”

• Hotel check in clerk not that professional.

“Called the number to get more information on check in time and discount ski tickets and had to bypass employee and there was nothing really she could do. Didn't explain ski check in procedure or check out time or what the facility had to offer. The room overlooked an exterior staircase and 20 foot wide satellite dish. Worst view I've ever seen.”

• The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The breakfast buffet was my only choice and it was Tuesday.

“I was very pleased with the front desk staff. They were very helpful when I needed to change my room because of noise and when I locked myself out of my room. They also were nice enough to let me keep my car in the loading zone so I could rent skis before the rental area was closed. The location was absolutely fantastic. My room service dinner was timely and adequate for the price. I especially liked the indoor/heated garage. They also let me leave my car in the garage while I skied even though I was checked out in the morning.”

• I really liked the location.
• I thought the bathroom space was way to small.

“All in all, I enjoyed my stay here. The room with a "mountain view" was not so much. The restaurant was pathetic however. No one seemed to know what they were doing and the service was very slows. One of my favorite amenities was having the free internet.”

• Great location for skiing. Big rooms and friendly staff.
• Not enough lifts; only one per tower; long waits. Level 8+ requires second lift; hassle with bags.

“Great hotel. Perfect location for skiing; only 100 yes from peak 9 slopes. Free covered parking and ski locker are good amenities. The big downside is the elevator system; only one lift for levels 2-7 per tower. To get to levels 8-10 you have to walk past all the rooms on level 7 to reach the lift. Waiting on lifts can be a hassle. Overall though, great hotel.”

• Having to change elevators 3 times to get to room.

“Large room with refrigerator and internet access, 3 outdoor hot tubs and 2 inside next to the pool, ski shop on premises, walking distance to 2 ski lifts, heated garages, 3 blocks from main street dining and shopping - this is our preferred place to stay in Breckenridge.”

• Excellent Service.
• Hard beds, terrible towels, hotel needs remodeling.

“Location and service excellent but hotel should not be rated 3 stars. The beds and pillows were hard and I had a towel with several holes in it (not usable). I cannot recommend this hotel. ”

• It was nestled right next to the ski resort. Made it very convenient.
• Hotel personnel put us in a room without a view even though one was requested.

“They should have complimentary coffee in the lobby for those who did not make it in their rooms (the coffee packets were too big for the small coffee makers). The hotel was very accommodating and we would stay there again.”

• The parking garage was very dusty, and there was no air conditioning.

• Hotel was located very close to ski lift and had onsite rental facility for ski equipment.
• Staff double booked our original room and had some unexpected, surprised room mates.

“Hotel is very easy to find and centrally located in Breckenridge. The hotel had a large lobby with a huge fireplace. The concierge recommended a local restaurant that was very good. I would stay here again on my next trip to Breckenridge.”

• Lovely room and very pleasant, helpful staff, lovely lobby.
• Very few guests so no cook in kitchen to prepare breakfast in restaurant.

“Great buy. Large ski hotel. We were there in off season. Staff very accommodating and let us use internet services in business center at no cost. Only problem was cold buffet breakfast, very little selection for $6.95. We needed to eat there as had to leave early in am.”

• Staff was friendly and accomodating in switching king to two doubles. Beautiful facility.
• Indoor pool was very murky looking. At checkin was that parking was $12 - but was waived later at checkout - reason unknown.

• Checkout time is 10:00am and it could not be extended
