• Concierge level service, location.
• Hotel staff, inability to provide proper facilities for the paying hotel guest.

“I stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions for week long stays over several months, all for business, all on the concierge level with generally satisfactory experiences. It was a great location, the concierge level made it worth the price and the staff was usually with it. On my fourth stay, however, room had no chest of drawers. There was a cabinet on which the TV was placed and inside was a refrigerator! Sure, I could hang my trousers and shirts in the closet but had no place for anything else. I asked the manager about the situation and he didn't know what a chest of drawers was! I implored him to check the other available rooms to see if any had a chest of drawers. He returned and informed me that none had a chest of drawers. I stayed there 3 times before with chest of drawers. Did they suddenly remove them? The high speed internet was anything but high-speed. My repeated complaints about this feature were summarily ignored. My last night there, there was a big blow-out event held in the hotel. On my arrival after a long day at work, no parking spaces were available. Upon asking the hotel desk staff where to park, I was given the hotel business card, directed to a lot 1/2 mile away with shuttle service, and informed I could call the hotel desk for pickup. After parking in an available space I waited 15 minutes without a shuttle arriving. I hope the hotel made a lot of coin off of that '70s night because they have lost my business.”

• I like room and the bedding, my husband liked the TV.
• The agents at front desk were rude and could careless what questions I had.

“Although I did enjoy the room, the rest of the hotel seems run down and the staff is not very friendly. The clerk when I checked in was nice but thereafter they were rude and made me feel that I was a bother.”

• Special activities for small children and
  had great pool.

“Fast friendly and helpful check in. Staff very helpful. The indoor out door pool is awesome. They have activates every Friday night for younger children. This is the 4th time I have stayed at this hotel and will return again. It is the best.”

• El Paso people are the greatest! Hotel employees are no different!
• Needs safe boxes in rooms.

• The cost was so low yet the room felt so luxurious. I would definitely stay there again.
• I did not like how my room only had windows leading to the inside of the lobby.

“I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room close to the airport with a king-size bed and big flat LCD TV. They even had a pillow menu so I could have the best night sleep possible! I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Staff (except manager), location, layout, buffet, televisions and WiFi.
• AC in room, ant problem, dingy inside pool area, dirty sheets, renovations.

“The cons: Our queen room was in a wing being renovated. Our room did not have the AC on and did not cool down sufficiently. The wallpaper was torn in places and the pull out sleeper had dirty sheets. The bathroom did not have a fan and taking showers made the whole room muggy. My son was bitten several times by ants while sleeping on the sofa sleeper. The pool area inside the building was dingy (moldy tiles around pool) and had an odd smell. The manager was off duty did not return my call regarding the ant issue with my son. The Pros: The beds were comfortable and the new HD television was a nice feature. The staff was very friendly and helpful (except the manager). The buffet was good. The layout and the location were plusses as well. The mint scented shower soap was enjoyable.”

• Very nice room and excellent service.
• The rooms with exterior entry have very large glass fronts to them. When the door is closed.

“Very nice hotel with quiet and well maintained rooms. The restaurant is very nice, but a little too much for the ordinary business trip. There is a nice Mexican restaurant 1/2 a block behind the hotel though.”

• Easy to get to from airport. Starbucks in parking lot.
• A little run down.

“Good for people who fly into El Paso later in the day and want to get on the road in the morning. Restaurant staff attentive and pleasant, not too familiar. Rooms.”

• There was a bar and a restaurant on the premise.
• It could use some updates and routine maintenance.

“While the hotel was close to the airport, exiting to acquire food and gas was difficult due to a lack of traffic signals. The large screen TV was a major plus, but the disrepair of minor things like the closet door, the entrance door, made it a little annoying. All in all, It was fairly comfortable with the bed and the large screen TV being the major advantages.”

• The Beds were very comfortable! Plasma TV's! Friendly Staff.
• Bathrooms need updating.

• Easy access to freeway, clean and cozy, parking was easy.
• I had a great experience. No negatives I can think of.

“I was quite impressed with my room at this hotel. Holiday Inn Express at this location exceeded my expectations. I had some negative experiences in other cities but this one needs a positive Kudos.”
