• Were locked of room because of equipment failure, no compensation.

• It was very noisy all though the night which made it hard to sleep.

• The price was fair.
• The carpet was so dirty it left our feet and socks black after 5 min.

“For the money, this was a good hotel. It was located in a close proximity to where we needed it. For an extended stay, the one washer and dryer was not enough, but otherwise this was fine. As one of the few hotels that were pet friendly, it was above adequate. The hotel staff did what they could to make our stay pleasant.”

• Clean, friendly helpful staff. Nice continental breakfast.
• Noisy for a short while at bedtime. 10:30-11:30 pm. Not good if you have to get up early.

• Had to wait for room to be cleaned, TV reception was bad.

“I wouldn't recommend this particular hotel for a comfortable stay but the La Quinta's in general are usually nice, we had a terrible reception on the TV. and this was an afternoon and evening we needed to stay indoors and rest from our hiking adventure and the air conditioner wasn't working at first until I did some minor maintenance on it.”

“The room number was not on the door, the room was dirty, the room had excessive street noise, the TV did not work, the desk had not extra pillows and could not bring me a new remote, and I had to go to the desk to get a different remote twice. There were homeless people in the parking lot asking for money, very unsafe.”

• Great location. Clean, recently remodeled. Next to a Denny's and gas station, so very convenient.

• How friendly and willing to help the staff was at all times.
• My door was broken and painting was being done.

“The staff was friendly and they were quick to assist in any way possible in anything we needed. However, my door was constantly hard to open and close and the people they had painting the rooms got started at 6-7 in the morning when we were still trying to get ready for the day ahead.”

• TV reception poor on some of the cable channels.

“Good location for airport (Shuttle service only 5 minutes from airport to hotel) Clean rooms. Although somewhat dated, physical facility was freshly painted and clean. Continental breakfast was better than many at this price level. Only drawback was TV reception on some channels, which seems to be a problem with many motels.”

• The showers did not work properly.

“The room was clean, but the shower would run hot and cold several times a minute. It was almost impossible to use the shower. The toilet also stopped-up; however, the staff responded quickly to get it working again.”

• The continental breakfast and the housekeeping were good.
• No roll out beds. Traveled with 3 children and had to squeeze in 2 double beds.

“The hotel was very decent. The rooms were clean, but needed some updating. The internet connection kept dropping, but was ok most of the time. Housekeeping was really nice and helpful. The area was ok. The breakfast was good. Plenty of parking and right next to Denny's and Circle K. Wish they offered roll away beds. Had to squeeze 3 kids and 2 adults in 2 double beds.”

• Comfortable, and clean room.
• Not close to the airport.

“This should be called a motel not a hotel and it should not have the world airport near its name nor description as it is not really close. The area is nice for a motel (gas station, 7/11, highway, but not for a woman guest without car. Staff was nice and shuttle to airport made up for the distance. You get what you pay for!”

• The location is just yards from I10 - traffic noise, pollution, etc.

“We chose this hotel based on need to be close to airport for early flight. Driving directions were terrible - we had to make 4 passes, finally stopping at another La Quinta to get better directions. Exiting Geronimo from I10 West, you have to know to go through a gas station to the hotel!”

• No internet working the whole time and roof work right over head in early morning.

“Although this la Quinta was close to everything, clean and the staff was friendly, there was no working internet the full time I was there and there and they were putting a new roof right over my head (loud banging and scraping) at 7:00 a.m.!”

• The staff was friendly and attentive.
• The carpets were dirty, when I walked around in white socks they soon became black.

“For someone looking for a place to sleep this hotel is okay. But for someone like myself with a small child the room was okay and the first day the channel for me to purchase a movie was not working.”

• The staff - all friendly, courteous, and helpful.
• Access is a bit difficult and the facility is pretty well-worn.

“Breakfast is a joke - need to improve on that if you are using it as a selling point - otherwise, the stay was restful and met our needs - would have liked a couple of plates, bowls, glasses, and flatware settings - there was a fridge and microwave, but we had to purchase dinnerware.”

• Excellent price, close to airport, easy access to inner city.
• The rooms in the front were noisy due to closeness to route number 10.

“A good place for the business traveler or anyone that wants a good, basic place to stay. It had a pool and free basic breakfast. It was just what I wanted. The staff is more than willing to assist in any way.”

• They were nice about helping us make copies.
• They gave us the worst room possible.

“They put us on the freeway side of the building on the second floor. The room key automatically locked you out at 12 noon, which was a horrible inconvenience I did not learn about while I was packing the car. Overall the experience was one of the worst ever. I was at the hotel to be with my boyfriend who is leaving for Iraq which added to the stress and the staff certainly did not help matters. ”

• The hotel is a little old.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was old but clean. The hotel had very few customers and I was hoping that they would have asked me for my preference of a room. I would have liked a single queen or king sized bed on the side of the hotel that overlooks the valley. Instead, they gave me a room that faces the interstate with two small beds. I guess I will have to be a little more aggressive and make this request next time instead of just hoping that they will offer it to me.”

• On the Mexico boarder. Not lit very well at night.

Convenient to have Denny's right next door. Comfy cozy room. Nice to have free HBO. More towels would have been nice.”

“I usually like La Quanta stayed in several. The clerk who checked us in was not friendly and not helpful at all. She denied every request I made. She made me feel totally unwelcome and seemed to be eager to get back to whatever she was doing prior our arrival. The morning person was nice but I had to average. I like La Quanta Loma land much better.”

• The decor is simple but pleasant and well done and the breakfast bar was also nicely laid out and well stocked.
• The location was somewhat removed from the airport and other services were not within walking distance.

“The hotel was well maintained and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were picked up and returned to the airport when asked. It was fairly easy to find from I-10. ”

“hotel was not located at the airport but a couple miles down the road. check in clerk was very polite as were the housekeepers. the area of location was not the greatest. I would not stay there again if I had the choice. too expensive for the quality...”

“I stayed at the La Quinta Inn Airport in El Paso, Texas. The price was great. The room was better than I expected. It had a big bathroom, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. It had two full size beds, a table and two chairs, and a TV. In the morning it had a free continental breakfast.”
