• It has a big kitchen area with a full frig, stove, and sink.
• They don't provide shampoo in the bathroom, however it is an extended stay hotel.

“I have never given a bad rating before but this hotel was the worst I have ever been at. The staff was not helpful and the room was very dirty! Room smelled funny and hairs were on pillows and shower area. Would not stay here again even for free!”

• It was cheap and convenient.
• The hall carpets were filthy, the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, Internet access was an extra charge.

“This hotel stay was only an overnight for us on our way back from San Antonio. First of all, there was no breakfast of any kind on offer. I realize that this is an extended stay hotel with a kitchen, but that really didn't meet our needs. Second, the state of the elevator and hallways left much to be desired. The hall carpets were filthy and the second floor hallway absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke, in spite of all the rooms in that hallway being non-smoking. The elevator had graffiti scratched into the stainless steel. Another problem was that the hotel charged extra for internet access. Free high speed internet is a staple in most hotels now and I would think that it would be de-rigor in a hotel oriented towards business travelers. The room left much to be desired. The mattress on the bed was obviously quite old and not very comfortable. The air conditioning unit was right next to (almost touching) the bed and was very loud. The only positives were the price and the location. The hotel was located directly off of the I-10 and near quite a few shops and restaurants.”

• It had a microwave and a fridge.
• The room smelled and the bed was hard. We looked at the mattress before we left and it was stained up really badly.

“If your just looking for a warm bed out of the cold - this works. If you are looking for any type of comfort, this isn't it.”

• That it was a suite, staff was very friendly, and the price of course.
• There were ants in the room. It didn't ruin the hotel experience but it was a concern.

“Hotel was a great value and served its purpose for our trip. We loved that it had a full kitchen and an onsite laundry facility. Made it very convenient traveling with our baby. I would stay here again.”

• Space is good, nice little gym.
• Date rooms, small tub, old furniture.

“Its a nice hotel for long stays, fully equipped kitchen, but bathtub is a bit small, I liked the distribution of the room, feels like a studio, but they could renovate the rooms with newer furniture. Some appliances didn't work, but any major problems. I sued the gym which was nice, small but fully equipped. Didn't use the pool but it looked ok.”

• There were two windows for a cross breeze to reduce the stench.
• The smell.

“The first impression you have of a room is the smell. This place uses nuclear grade room deodorizer. Instant headache. Too tired to complain or change hotels. Slept with the windows open. Would not recommend.”

• The room was very spacious clean carpet.
• Old furniture door to the room has a huge gap can see hall way and hear everything.

“This room was good for its price. We only stayed one night. The rooms are clean, and carpet looks brand new and clean, but the furniture is old and out dated. The lamps have huge florescent lights so it was hard to get a nice cozy dim light in the room. Overall we only stayed in the room about 9 hours so that was ok.”

• Street noise, smelled like it had been used by smokers.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. It contained a full kitchen, sitting area with chair and sofa, and a desk; basically a small studio apartment. The hotel is basic in design and amenities, although it does have an exercise room. The only problem with our room was a non-working lamp on one side of the bed. The bed was comfortable enough, if not deluxe and the room was clean, although it did smell as if they had tried and failed to mask the smell of cigarette smoke.”

• Was farther from destination than expected.

“Was not at the hotel much during the day, but it was peaceful at night. When checked in, was given non-smoking room. Asked to be moved and there was no problem with it. Staff was very friendly.”

• Loved the full kitchen.
• Beds are not very comfortable.

“As a two star facility, it is really nice for extended stays. We used the full kitchen as well as the laundry room. The exercise facility looks nice although I haven't yet had a chance to use it. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is also nice, close to a mall, lots of restaurants and easy access to Interstate 10.”

• Bed was worn out. Needs replaced ASAP!

“This was my first stay in a suite hotel and the kitchen was great!! I mentioned it when I was checking out and the clerk said it was time for the mattresses to be replaced. I wouldn't stay here again unless I know they had new mattresses. Otherwise, it was a great hotel, friendly staff.”

• Very convenient to Sunland park where I had business.
• There were no problems at this hotel.

“This hotel is located in western el Paso, close to Sunland park. There are numerous restaurants, low priced gas and shopping opportunities nearby. Close to interstate 10 but quiet. The room featured a stove, microwave, full sized refrigerator. We've stayed at this chain (Extended Stay America) before and find it very accommodating.”

• The rooms for very spacious.
• The hotel lobby smelled smoky and musty when you first walked in, but the room did not smell this way.

“The staff was very inviting and helpful when asked for information. They also explained what and what not was provided by their hotel services. The room was clean with a lot a room to move around.”

• Had a fitness center, which I did not expect. Rooms were clean.
• Very hard bed. Sister's room had a dishwasher which did not work.

“Overall, my stay at studio plus was pretty mediocre. The rooms were very clean, and it was an indoor facility (most in the area are), and convenient to the I-10 freeway. However, those are pretty much all the good points. The bed I slept in was very hard and uncomfortable. I had a hard time getting to sleep, which defeats the whole notion of staying at a place to sleep! My parents and I stayed at the same place. I saw their room and it was bigger than mine! This place will do in a pinch, but there are plenty better equipped and better value for money places in the vicinity.”

• Lady at front desk made my family feel very comfortable. Location is excellent for shopping since is close to Sunland park mall, target, authority spoor.
• Some equipment in the fitting room was not working.

“Staff is very friendly, you feel like in home and I prefer this than stay in a very fancy hotel were looks like everybody is looking what kind of clothes are you wearing.”

“Like a studio rental apartment building. Extended stays and moving in and out takes its toll on the furnishings, most of which are pretty inexpensive pieces to begin with. Beds and bedding not the greatest quality. Nice to have a kitchen but otherwise more of an economy level hotel quality.”

• All entrances had locks on the doors and I felt secure in the hotel.
• The mattress was not comfortable.

“A good place to stay if you need a full kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. There is no restaurant, and only a McDonald's near by.”

• There is a kitchenette in the room.
• There is only 1 bed.

“This hotel is fine for single travelers. There is only 1 bed which does not work out if you are traveling with older children. There is a kitchen in the room which is handy for cooking meals. This hotel is also just down the street from a casino. It is a budget hotel but good value for the money if you understand that there is only 1 bed in the rooms.”

“This hotel is on the outskirts of El Paso, so it's not convenient to the airport. Even though we were given a non-smoking room, it still had the stench of smoke. We put dryer sheets in the A/C vents and that was able to get rid of the smell.”

“This hotel is a good location for shopping, and the Sunland park race track/casino. The room is large, with a full kitchen. The bed is comfortable, and the AC is cold. The decor is somewhat dated, but the room is very clean. There is a pool, exercise room and a Laundromat. My only complaints are: sparsely supplied kitchen; i.e. Only 2 pans, no large bowls and minimal utensils. Also, we were told rooms were cleaned on Tuesdays, and it was not. We were there 6 days and no cleaning.”
