• Location, very large rooms and bed.
• Bathrooms were sub par for being a Marriott, 2) breakfast and internet were not included in the price.

“Restaurant staffs were awesome. Too many high school age workers who were not properly trained or know what hospitality is. Great location. Jacuzzi does not have jets.”

“I have never been to a hotel with more friendly people. Our only complaint is that the air conditioner does not get the room very cool. This kept us from being comfortable and sleeping. We have had this problem before at the same hotel. It is a beautiful place and very inviting.”

• The lobby/staff/waterfall/room space-decorations.
• Elevators took forever (we were on the 6th floor.)

• Easy to get to, check in was really easy.
• Not much water pressure.

“This was a really nice hotel. The only draw back was expected because when we checked in they did notify us that they just replaced the water pipes and the water would be rusty at first then clear up. It took over 10 minutes for the water to clear up.”

• We asked for a room with a view and we got that.
• Although we were on the top floor you could still hear traffic.

“Great place for business or leisure. Plenty of great places to eat in a short distance. Close to all the major attractions in Albuquerque.”

• The linen on the beds was great.
• The pool was on the small side, and both spas were out of service.

“This is a very pleasant hotel to stay at. The rooms, while on the small side, were extremely clean and the beds, some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel. I was traveling with me two teens and two younger children, and everyone was very happy with the entrees offered at the hotel restaurant. The southwestern chicken sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. This is not your typical hotel restaurant fare. I was a bit disappointed with the pool. The inside portion is small and was crowded, but would have been great if the outdoors had been warm enough (the outdoor portion is much larger). Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 3 stars or greater accommodation.”

“Even though our stay was short it was very enjoyable. This is a very clean hotel with a very friendly and courteous staff. We will stay here again when we travel back to Albuquerque.”

• I liked the pillows, sheets, and the bed. The hob was great. The parking lot was secure and well lit.
• The only thing I hated was being awakened at 6 am by clanking dishes while workers set up the buffet. It was horrible noise for a solid hour!

“I have stayed here before and I liked it very well. It is a great location and the beds are great and the showers are nice too. Good place to stay as a single woman. I felt very safe there.”

• The bath tub drain was clogged and there was a dirty wash cloth left in the bath room.

• 4 weddings on the same day, people partied all night so I couldn't sleep.

“This is a beautiful hotel as long as they are not over booked with functions. We complained to the management but they could do nothing about the screaming drunk people at 2:00 in the morning.”

• We were upgraded to the concierge level.
• It was absolute bedlam when we arrived.

“Because of the "Gathering of Nations", a conference and a wedding in the lobby, the noise level was beyond anything I've ever experience in a hotel, not to mention the unsupervised children running about.”

• The hotel management was excellent and most of staff.
• The noise from the freeway but the manager moved us to a quieter room.

“The hotel comfort is excellent (beds, cleanliness, restaurant. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful (made restaurant reservation for us, gave directions to pharmacy). I would recommend it to everyone.”

• Housekeeping forgot to clean room for 2 days!

“Our room is on the east end of the hotel and we can hear the freeway noise on i-25. Not a big deal but for light sleepers, you may want a room on the other side of the hotel. Had to call housekeeping when they miss cleaning the room the second day. When they didn't clean the room on the third day, we had to complain again. They didn't apologize for missing our room. Our room has no safe or small refrigerator, which is a bummer! Maybe the suites have those. USA today was delivered at the front door every morning. Overall the hotel experience was good.”

• The hotel was located very conveniently to all the attractions I was interested in.
• The hotel did not clearly communicate all of its amenities and prices.

“Overall I had a good experience at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was by far the best hotel bed I have ever slept on. The view from the window was to be desired as it was of a big wall. The staff was friendly and did go out of their way to get me all the info I needed.”

• The bed was very comfortable. Upgraded since my last stay.
• The doors and trims are painted a puke yellow color.

“Over all a great place to stay in abq. The rooms are very comfortable and quite. The best part of this hotel is the comfort and quality of the bedding. It was great. The color or the doors and trim inside the hotel should be updated. I am not a fan of puke yellow.”

• We stayed here for two days with 3 young children. The staff and facilities were excellent. Room service was reasonably priced.
• Nothing.

“Two other travel websites informed me that the Marriott pyramid was not available for the days I specified. The reservation clerk was a little surprised by my rate, but she was most helpful as was the entire staff. The facilities were also excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• The room was very nice. Great linens/beds/pillows.
• Close to the interstate. Noisy.

“The staff is a bit "perky" which seems less than genuine to me. However, their service is prompt, efficient, and friendly. The bar is too busy for the number of staff they have, so be prepared to wait. The restaurant is excellent. Still, the staff could be upgraded and more efficient.”

• Our children really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool.
• This hotel is not as conveniently located near restaurants and amusements as some hotels are.

“The room was lovely and clean, plenty of space for our family with young children. The pool was great fun, although slightly warmer water would have been nice. The bed was by far the most comfortable hotel mattress on which I have ever slept. Overall, we had a really nice experience here.”

• Forgot wedding rings in room. Housekeeping was very honest in turning in the rings.
• Room had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke. Staff did not offer to accommodate Went to another hotel that night.

“We have stayed at this hotel several times, but this was not one of our greatest experiences. Our room smelled of cigarettes, to which I am allergic. My husband called the front desk, they told him they had no other rooms. He went down to the front desk to speak with them personally, to no avail. There was nothing to the effect of "I'm Sorry sir, can I get you some spray. a candle, ......" We decided to go to another hotel at 12:30 am. When we told the front desk we were checking out, she had no apologies, no nothing. This was a bad experience for us. We have to give housekeeping an "A" for honesty though. I forgot my wedding rings and when we called the next morning about them, they were very helpful and courteous I did get them back.”

• When we asked for clean towels they were delivered to us immediately, fresh & warm from the dryer!
• The fact that there wasn't any clean towels in bathroom.

• The staff were very sweet and helpful in giving me driving directions, maps, and suggesting places for me to see the "real" Albuquerque.
• Food and drink were a little expensive, especially for an older person who does not eat very much; I couldn't get a small enough meal.

“The hotel is convenient, right off I-25. The staff were young, pleasant and friendly. The lobby was beautiful (they had a wedding while I was there - in the lobby!). Rooms were clean and quiet. They let me check in early, seeing that I was tired, worn and sunburned.”

• The bed was the best part. The sheets and pillows were the best.
• The water was lukewarm at best.

“We loved the bed and room. Ordered from room service and the food came warm and was quite tasty. The only drawback was the water in the shower. It was lukewarm at best. Almost a cold shower.”
